This was my first time using Rover for a pet sitter and Peter has set the bar. I have high anxiety when it comes to the safety of my fur-babies and the privacy of my house to which Peter was very understanding. They were friendly and patient during the meet and greet as we talked about my babies needs, their quirks, and the concerns we have with some neighborhood pets. They answered all of my questions about handling different scenarios, particularly pertaining to cats as my little man can be spicy. He doesn't warm up to people easily and doesn't like loud noises or quick movements when someone new is in his space. This means following my recommendations during introductions are key to starting off on the right foot with him and Peter excelled. During the actual stay, Peter was great with communication providing nightly updates with pics and videos as requested. There were a couple issues with the app's notifications, but nothing with Peter's care or professionalism. They even got my little spicy man to warm up to them and ask for some attention. We returned to a clean house and happy boys. I would recommend Peter for anyone else that's extra anxious about who's watching their babies and will definitely use them again for future trips.

We've had Peter pet and house sit multiple times now. It's great having such a great person and pet lover as our fur babies care giver.

So wonderful having Peter take care of our home while we are away. It is a huge comfort knowing our pets are so well cared for and loved while we are gone. And a great bonus is coming back to a sparkling clean house! Thanks again :)

Peter is an absolutely wonderful pet and house sitter. They sent amazing photos, communicated thoroughly, and loved on our pets so much that I’m pretty sure our dog was disappointed when we walked back in the door and weren’t Peter! Peter went above and beyond by even handling some unexpected roofing work that needed to happen while we were away. Our home was left spotless and our animals were clearly well cared for. Peter C. was completely amazing. I had a friend who was dealing with repeated hospitalizations and needed someone to come in and help give his cat medications for a few days; Peter was able to come in on very short notice and help us out for close to a week. While I wasn't personally present, my friend was very happy with them and said they were very good with his shy, elderly cat. It was a huge help for both of us, and I couldn't be more grateful. Would definitely hire again.
