I'm starting this as a part-time job because it fits my schedule. I'm usually available for dog walking Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm.

I am currently petless. Our beloved kitty(15 years old) passed last year and our family is not ready for another pet at the moment. I am happy to come to your house to take your dog for a walk in a neighborhood they are comfortable with, I often walk at Powell Butte, around my own neighborhood, and Salish ponds in Gresham. I'm happy to discuss other walks with you and anything else you'd like to know.

I love all dogs but I admit I have a special fondness for herding breeds such as Border Collies and Australian Shepherds. Please let me know in advance any special needs your pup has such as medical needs (insulin, allergies, etc).
A typical day
I love going for walks around Powell Butte, my neighborhood, and the Salish Pond path. I also have a fenced in yard that I'm happy to play fetch with your pup. I have done some basic training with Guide Dogs for the Blind Foster pups and puppy sat some of their puppies so I feel very confident in my ability to keep your dog physically and mentally entertained.

Pet care experience
I've been surrounded by animals from before I was born. I grew up on a farm on Kauai, Hawaii. I worked as a veterinary assistant for nearly 10 years, volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a foster home, and I am always helping my friends and family with pet sitting and minor grooming(nail trims and baths).

Roxanne did a great job with drop in feeding & litter box scooping for my kitties while I was out of town. She was very dependable & also went above and beyond in sweeping up my entry way for me when the apartment management did some power washing.
