I would love to take your fur baby on a nature hike, to the local coffee shop for a puppuccino, to a park to play fetch, or even just playing and lounging around the home. I am here to keep your pet safe and comfortable. Whatever works well and best for them. I work a full-time hybrid position, so my schedule can be flexible at times with advanced scheduling. I am typically able to interact with your fur child as much as needed! We can go on a short walk or hang out at home before I go to work, during my lunch break, and after I am off! Weekends are usually wide open availability. I am no longer offering boarding services at my home, however, I would love to check in on your pet at your home as much as needed. Due to having a pup of my own with his own needs, I will not be able to spend the night at your home. Please note, this prior to booking. I am only available for drop-in visits. As shy as Freyja is, she's claimed you for her own (rubbing against your purse). That's really saying something! And the photo with Oogie hanging out with you on the head of your chair shows you two are buddies. We knew from the start that you are perfect for them and us, and we're thankful we found you. Now you might be wondering how they were when we came home. They woke up when they heard us and suddenly got the zoomies! Oogie had an excellent run on the kitty wheel, jumping off only to run away from Freyja! They played and grappled with each other and rubbing against us and more ruining on the wheel and more chasing. They don't even do that with catnip. Anyway, we had a great time and piece of mind that the ladies were in excellent hands. If this review is long and scattered, I'm JUST waking up (11:30 I think). About: I have grown up with pets and even found my first job working at an animal boarding house. You could say I learned to become a professional dog walker at a young age. I have two high anxiety dogs and have been working on their social skills and coping methods to help their anxiety. I work full-time from home but take frequent breaks to let the dogs go out and play and take multiple walks a day to give them exercise. I can crate your dog if you would like, but i do not crate unless told by the owner they can crate or have to be crated. We free feed our animals, but we can schedule feed if that is what you do! None of the dogs eat together to reduce the risk of an incident. I am very open to making accommodations and changes to make your fur baby feel safe and happy. I am one of the few sitters that take reactive dogs, I have the space to accommodate them and still have them get the love and attention they need! I am a stay at home mom to a 7 year old, so I am home all the time to take care of your babies. We play out side, and we snuggle. I treat your babies like they are my own. I have two very hyper, loving dogs who love to play in their giant yard! I can crate your baby if you prefer, but they all get to roam the house, and sleep in beds with humans!
About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!
