“Oh my goodness, I can’t say enough about this boarding opportunity. My boys are bundles of love, energy, and neuroses—not the easiest crew, especially with new people. Julie and Barry offered a meet-and-greet right away, which was lovely. Just a few days later, the boys returned for an overnight (test run-we were still in town). It took one of our boys almost the whole evening to settle in – – we were willing to pick him up right away, but Julie and Barry persisted and reassured us they were in good hands. Clearly, they were – – Julie and Barry have plenty of experience working with dogs, including dogs with special needs. The boys settled in for bed on time, and woke up happy and playful. They spent the whole weekend with Julie and Barry, and my floors have never been cleaner. I would happily recommend these dog boarders to absolutely anyone!”

“Hi Ronda! Jackson Galaxy says that cats will claim someone or something as their own by rubbing and leaving their scent. As shy as Freyja is, she's claimed you for her own (rubbing against your purse). That's really saying something! And the photo with Oogie hanging out with you on the head of your chair shows you two are buddies. We knew from the start that you are perfect for them and us, and we're thankful we found you. Now you might be wondering how they were when we came home. They woke up when they heard us and suddenly got the zoomies! Oogie had an excellent run on the kitty wheel, jumping off only to run away from Freyja! They played and grappled with each other and rubbing against us and more ruining on the wheel and more chasing. They don't even do that with catnip. Anyway, we had a great time and piece of mind that the ladies were in excellent hands. If this review is long and scattered, I'm JUST waking up (11:30 I think). About: I've had cats all my life, current have 3. I have two dogs, both German Sheppards, and love taking care of them! Very in tune with physical cues of discomfort and figuring out what the animals need! I've stayed overnight at family members houses for years to take care of their dogs. About: I’ve taken care of my friend’s dog on multiple occasions, for as long as two weeks at a time. I also have two dogs at home! We’ve had dogs since 2010. I also used to have cats as a kid, so I have experience with cat care as well. I can work around any schedule! I absolutely love all pets and am always looking to hang with them. Recently moved here so I am in need of some cute pets to take care of! My dogs are taken out three times a day and are fed twice a day. They are allowed to roam throughout the day and I do my best to give them as much attention when I’m home :) For dog sitting in the past, I typically visited 2-3 times a day, taking the dog out each visit and feeding twice a day. I take the dogs on walks for 15-20 minutes and poop is always picked up :)

About: I’ve worked in Veterinary medicine for 16+ years which includes Kennel/Veterinary Assistant in a general practice ,Emergency Veterinary Medicine for almost 6 years now. I moved from Maine in the summer of 2024. I have a 3 year old English mastiff, and grew up with two big dogs as a kid. I'm good with training and working with puppies and older dogs who need medicine and extra care. I am available for boarding 24/7. I have a very large yard with a tall fence, I have a 3 year old English mastiff and a 7 year old daughter to keep your fur baby plenty occupied! I can crate your dog if you would like, but i do not crate unless told by the owner they can crate or have to be crated. We free feed our animals, but we can schedule feed if that is what you do! None of the dogs eat together to reduce the risk of an incident. I am very open to making accommodations and changes to make your fur baby feel safe and happy. I am one of the few sitters that take reactive dogs, I have the space to accommodate them and still have them get the love and attention they need! I am a stay at home mom to a 7 year old, so I am home all the time to take care of your babies. We play out side, and we snuggle. I treat your babies like they are my own. I have two very hyper, loving dogs who love to play in their giant yard! I can crate your baby if you prefer, but they all get to roam the house, and sleep in beds with humans!

I was so concerned he’d be lonely that I crawled out of my crib to sleep beside him, and that love for animals has only grown stronger over the years. I currently work full-time from home as an online teacher, which means your pet will have constant care and companionship throughout the day. I want you to feel totally at ease while you’re away, so I happily provide photo updates and a detailed summary of our daily routine. My husband and I live in a two story home on half an acre here in Troutdale so your dog will have tons of room to run around and play! Our home also backs up to a large park with many trails and you can expect me to take your dog on walks there multiple times a day. I’m flexible, dependable, and available for last-minute bookings, I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I work from home each day from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m., which gives me a highly flexible schedule and allows me to be with your pup for the rest of the day,aside from the occasional errand. Your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and affection; they certainly won’t be lonely! I’m highly detail-oriented, and my full attention will be devoted to your pet and their unique needs. You can expect frequent updates, complete with photos, so you always feel connected and confident that they’re in great hands.
About: I’m a professionally trained animal caregiver offering reliable, high quality care for pets of all kinds. I hold a Veterinary Assistants Certificate, as well as multiple years of experience in dog and cat behavior, first aid, emergency response, and administering medications. Including care for pets with long term medical conditions. In my free time, I volunteer with WCGHS in their shelter and in the community. I’ve also volunteered with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and the Salt Lake City Humane Society, working with animals of all temperaments, including reactive and behaviorally sensitive dogs. I have two rescue dogs and one cat of my own, including one pup with epilepsy. I bring a calm, confident energy that helps pets feel safe and supported. You and your pet’s safety, comfort, and well being are always my top priority. My availability varies, but am able to provide potty breaks at least every 2hrs. I am flexible and willing to adapt to your schedule :D I’ve never met an animal I didn’t get along with! I am willing to watch/walk multiple pets at a time and can adapt to any preferred schedules or practices you have for your pets. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while in my care.
