I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I fit enrichment, play time and walks in throughout my day and we always have dinner on time. For drop in visits, I make it a priority that drop in times are always around the same day part within a 2 hour window so your pet can keep a routine while you’re away.

When caring for your pets at your home, respecting their space is always at top of mind. Keeping them comfortable and sticking with a routine allows for less stress on them when you’re away. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and play. I have two dogs who are used to playing with others and two cats who know how to set boundaries. I have extra crates if needed.

A typical day
We love playtime in the Hennen’s house whether it’s playing with a ball or getting on their level and playing with them. This allows for me to be able to set expectations as their care giver as well as them setting boundaries themselves.

I’ve taken care of animals since I was very young either caring for my own or for a neighbor’s. My love for animals carried over into my adult life where I was in charge of a pet dorm in college and then continuing to own and care for my own pets. I’ve raised kittens and puppies teaching them manners and potty training. I have experience with giving both cats and dogs medication and I have experience with caring for geriatric dogs.

Kathleen was wonderful with our three cats. As per usual with cats, each is a little peculiar. Kathleen adjusted to each cat easily. Clearly an animal person! Made amazing progress with our shyest scaredy-est cat. The social one was spunky and happy when we got home thanks to Kathleen giving her the play and attention that she needed while we were gone. And the feral one got fed so he was happy too.
