“Paul (and Arnel) took great care of Rosie and provided me daily updates of all their adventures! She was in great hands and he was an excellent communicator! Loved all the pictures and news of her daily life.”

“Kristen is fantastic! This was the second time she cared for our dog Watson while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier. Her communication is excellent, with thoughtful updates and great photos sent to us throughout his stay. Most importantly, Watson clearly loves spending time with her. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust!”

“Winnie has a blast with Samantha every time! She is so cared for like she is her own. We never worry when Samantha is available to watch Winnie when we’re out of town.”

“I feel so lucky that Leah and Chris are going to be taking care of my senior dog in a few weeks. We had a meet & greet and a trial sleepover. Although that trial was just a few hours, they sent lots of sweet photos and my guy was clearly being well cared for. Chris & Leah were focused on his comfort and well-being. It brings me invaluable peace knowing I can take my trip out of state for a week and leave my darling boy with such caring and attentive people.”

“My dog is a sweet but VERY anxious rescue. She warms up to people over time, but with hesitation. I’m so grateful when I get photos of Pepper snuggling up with Sandra on the couch and happily hanging out. She’s so loved and cared for. Such piece of mind for me when I’m out of town! 💕”

“We had a wonderful experience with Emily. Coconut was comfortable very quickly, which was a relief. Emily also sent us immediate feedback so we could start our vacation worry-free. We got lots and lots of pictures - so fun to see Coconut zooming around the yard or crashed out on Bowie's bed. Also- I made a mistake on the booking dates, paying for one extra night, and Emily caught the mistake and fixed it immediately. This was my best experience with Rover yet. If she's available, I wouldn't use anyone else!”

“Gayle was very accommodating, communicative, and caring during the process of booking and taking care of our pups. We’re very thankful for her thoughtful and experienced approach to taking in our puppers for a long weekend. Very happy and definitely recommend!”
“Kristopher was awesome! He was waiting for me at my early morning drop off and communicated wonderfully about my dog. I really appreciated the pics he sent and being new to Rover- I think he made a great name for this company! I will look for his care in the future for sure! -Mary”

“Kelley was fantastic! Our dog was treated as a member of her family! She sent regular updates with pictures and videos. I had peace of mind knowing that Stella was so well cared for. She is the best!”

“My dog Bailey loved his stay with Carrie and her family. I felt very good about the care he would and did receive while in her home. I highly recommend Carrie!”

“My dog always has a great time with Jared! quick to communicate and has been very helpful whenever I have had travel issues or flight delays. They are my go to whenever I have to leave town for work.”

“Jennifer was great with my 3 dogs who have never been boarded at someone else’s house and two of them were a little nervous. They came around in no time, had the choice of sleeping with her if they wanted to, lots of room to play, and got along great with her dogs. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Leaving our dog with Rosemary was such a relief! We are always stressed to leave our dog behind when we're out of town but Rosemary was so great about sending updates and reassuring us. She had all the fun toys and a space for our dog to run--I'm pretty sure he was depressed when we got back and he had to go back to his regular house!”

“Devin has been great with our 6 month old puppy, he comes home happy and tired after daycare. The text/photo/video updates are also rrally appreciated!”

“We were very concerned about leaving our 8 year old fur baby with someone we didn’t know and we couldn’t have been more happy with Kristopher and his wife. They are a sweet couple and obviously love animals. We were thrilled to receive daily photos of a happy puppy. We highly recommend Kristopher and will be using him again when we next need a sitter!”

“Anastasia is outstanding with our 8 month golden retriever puppy! She sends lots of photos and updates while we’re away, and our dog gets a LOT of playtime and exercise with other dogs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Otis had another wonderful visit with Amber and her family. The moment we drove up to her home, Otis couldn’t wait to exit the car. He was thrilled to see Amber! We appreciate the exceptional care.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Maywood Park
Our Izzy is a returning guest with Mindy & Daniel, who are always terrific at caring for her and communicating with us via updates/photos. This time our girl had a new diet regimen, some meds, plus noisy July 4th -- M & D handled it all with aplomb. We had real peace of mind knowing she was getting professional boarding and lots of love, too.

Seth took care of our energetic fun loving lab over a long holiday weekend. He was very easy going with the communication and always quick to respond and set us at ease. Our pup had a blast and even made a friend during his stay. Thanks for taking such good care of our pup!

We had a wonderful experience! Anastasia took great care of our dog Kohala who requires daily medication and insulin injections, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was reliable, caring, and kept us updated with photos and messages. Our dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

I feel like we hit the gold mine finding Devin on Rover! She was so easy to communicate with and just such a lovely, welcoming person. Our two larger dogs stayed for the weekend and came home happy and tired. Devin is so sweet and we can't wait to book with her again. 5++++ stars!

I am really happy with Abby's stay with Breann. When I picked Abby up after a 3 night stay, she showed attachment to Breann and the other dog (Buck?) staying there. She was her usual calm, happy self. Breann sent me photos throughout Abby's stay, and Abby was clearly having a good time.

I can't speak highly enough of the experience I had choosing Josh to watch my brand new dog after I had to go on a last minute trip. I just brought a new dog home and was still learning about him, so I was a bit stressed having to put a sitter in a situation where neither of us really know the dog well. I scheduled a meet and greet with Josh and his pups (who are all amazing). My new dog was instantly comfortable in the space, around Josh, and his own dogs. While on my trip, Josh sent photo updates every day, letting me know how my dog was doing. I felt so at ease knowing my new dog was in good hands. Josh is very knowledgable about dogs and clearly takes such good care of every single one in his house. I will definitely book with Josh any time I can!

Brianna was the absolute perfect sitter with Bluebonnet! She clearly loved having her, they snuggled often. And Bluebonnet is a leash puller & tough walker, and Brianna has absolutely no trouble handling her. We will absolutely use Brianna as a sitter again, and I would highly recommend her to others!

Paul and Arnel are absolutely wonderful! This is the third time Daisy has stayed with them and every visit reinforces how lucky we feel to have found such caring and trustworthy sitters. We always have complete peace of mind knowing Daisy is in their care. They provide the most thoughtful updates throughout her stay and the photos are always fantastic. It’s clear from every picture and message that Daisy is happy, comfortable, and well-loved while she’s with them. They treat her like part of the family and that means so much to us. We couldn’t recommend Paul and Arnel more highly and will happily continue booking with them whenever we need care for Daisy!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
