“Hanlan was great in her care of our cat. She forwarded pics and videos daily showing our cat playing and being comfortable with her care. We hope to have her care in the future and Highly recommend her to all.”

“10/10! Amanda was very kind and caring towards our dog and communicative with us. She sent photos regularly and took good care of her. She listened to our instructions well and was very generous with boarding her over a long holiday week. Our pup came home happy and with new friends :)”

“I am so thankful to have found J, and can’t say enough great things! She sent me a bunch of adorable photo updates of my pup having a fabulous time out in the big yard, or cuddling inside with her newfound best friend Gus. Jean obviously really loves dogs, has a big home with space for large dogs, and is a wonderful sitter! We will definitely be visiting again!!!”

“Leslie’s home was a great Home away from home for our dog! She provided lots of care, updates, and home made treats. Our dog was completely comfortable in her home, which has a large fenced in backyard and lots of places to rest and snuggle!”

“Nadine took SUCH good care of my pups! They loved their time with her. The backyard is amazing… so much room to roam. And her pets got along so well with mine. Lots of communication and photos. It was so nice to know my babies were being loved on so much while I was away. I’d definitely recommend Nadine!!!!”

“Elizabeth and Sterling were fantastic. I booked last minute without much time for a meet and greet, and not only did they oblige and still meet same day, they made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. Their dog Lilo is such a sweetheart as well! They provided updates and exercise and I knew my pup was in good hands. Thank you so much for your great care! And I'm sorry again for the late plane arrival on my return!”

“Noemi went above and beyond to make our nervous small dogs comfortable. Lots of updates throughout the weekend, and they clearly had a great time during their stay with her.”

“Linda was so accommodating and friendly, I felt at ease with them right away! They were so kind to take photos of our little dog Murphy which once we got back into cell reception it was a delight to see he had his own very fun vacation! Thanks so much Linda, you’re our first contact for our next time away!”

“Our little dog was well and happy after a week with Melodie. There is a good play area and there were other small dogs to socialize with. We will book with Melodie the next time we need boarding.”

“Marybeth and family took good care of our dog Toby for a week. I believe Toby had as good a vacation as we did! He got to play with Zoey and keep an eye on the cats. He spent time relaxing on the back deck watching the chickens. Working out the details with Marybeth was easy and she's quick to respond. She's obviously good with animals.”

“Veronica is very sweet. She was very nice to my dog. Her 2 dogs are very friendly and seems like my dog had a great time at Veronica’s house. I will ask her again. I do strongly recommend her to all dog owners.”

“Anastasia was great! Our dogs had an amazing time at their house, and came back happy as can be. They were also so flexible when our flight was delayed and we were extremely late in picking up the doggos!”

“She did a great job with our Goldendoodle Daisy. She kept us updated with daily postings and pictures, and Daisy seemed to really enjoy her time with Becky. Would definintely use again!”

“Julie and Barry are always so wonderful with our little Cadi. She is very loving but not the easiest to care for, but they figured her out 😊 She feels so at home at their house.”

“my dog loves going to Hannah’s house. i love getting photos of her every day - it warms my heart to see her safe and comfortable and having a great time ❤️ these guys are the best, highly recommend!!”

“Bridgette and Beau and Winnie could not have made Lola's stay any more comfortable. Lola had never stayed with unknown people let alone with another dog or cat so this was a bit experimental for all of us. But after a meet and greet it looked like a match. We were gone for two days and received daily updates and photos. Lola is accustomed to free ranging on furniture and beds and she was made to feel right at home with Bridgette and Beau and Winnie was a great sharer. I will definitely book with these Rover superstars again. Upcoming vacation planned in September. Thank you so much.”

“Thank you for taking such great care of our pups, Paul & Arnell! It's clear that you extended a lot of patience and care with our very active furbabies. And you two helped us feel so at ease with taking a long weekend vacation. We loved the photos and updates throughout the weekend and we really appreciate your hospitality and welcoming character. No doubt our babes were right at home while staying with you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Happy Valley
This is the second time Richard has watched Bug and Ollie. He takes wonderful care of them and they are very happy there. One of my dogs is a nervous, older dog with a big bark and Richard is great with him and Bug adores Richard. It is so reassuring knowing they'll be in a safe, loving environment while I am out of town.

Hayleigh is incredibly wonderful and my dog came home as happy as he could be! I was headed out of town for a week and my care plan fell apart the evening before. Hayleigh was very responsive and adaptable regarding my almost no notice request. I was nervous to leave my dog for a week but Hayleigh sent sweet updates and made me feel much at ease. She took great care of him. I would definitely recommend her!

Kena is a kind, experienced sitter and dog trainer. My dog has behavioral issues and anxiety, and Kena knew how to handle tense moments and help him feel safe. She was communicative with updates throughout the stay, and I really appreciated her giving my dog a chance. Her own dogs are well-trained, sweet, and great companions. Highly recommend!

Jenny was wonderful with our two dogs! She took great care of them making sure they had lots of activity and love! They came home completely exhausted and very happy. Jenny was able to accommodate their needs with their specialty food and medication, and even reached out to ensure they were doing well the next day after I brought them home. I will definitely reach out to Jenny again in the future!

Casey did a wonderful job taking care of Percy. It was his first time staying with a sitter and Casey was great at helping him adjust and was patient as Percy settled in. We received multiple daily updates and pictures and were always assured Percy was receiving the best care.

Dominique was so wonderful, sweet, and loving with our pup. She was very communicative, prompt, and sent us lots of videos and pictures. They already had toys/beds/leashes/bowls at their house so we didn’t need to pack much for our pup. It truly seemed like she cared for Ava as if she were their own. I cannot recommend them enough and we will definitely be reaching out in the future to request more pup sitting!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
