About Peter and Missy (spouse) It’s nice to meet you! As a fellow pet lover, I have decades of experience taking care of dogs of all kinds of temperaments. Because my wife, Missy, used to work at an emergency and general veterinarian hospital, she is experienced with medical conditions and can administer medication if needed. About our dog, Gunner Gunner is a 10-year-old terrier mix that we have had since he was a puppy. He prefers to hang out with dogs his size and is very gentle with little dogs. It's been such a joy to see him help dogs come out of their shell and make friends. He loves to have zoomies with other dogs and is very patient with shy dogs. He's overall playful, sweet, and loves to cuddle! 🐾

They treated my dogs like their own. Even bathing them when they got a little messy. They sent photos & always responded when I was checking in. Last minute issue came up and Peter & Missy were gracious to take my little girl for a few days over a holiday. So happy she could go someplace familiar with minimal disruption. Plus, I always know she’s in good hands with them (and Gunner)!

Schedule
We both work from home so your pet will always have someone to hang out with. We work together as a team to make sure your pup is safe, healthy, relaxed, and having fun!

About your pet’s stay We live in a single-level house on a quiet street with central air and a fenced backyard where your pup can play frisbee, hang out while we garden, and watch the birds and squirrels go by. Because we both work from home, your pet can have as many bathroom breaks as they want. We have no stairs which is great for dogs with mobility issues. We don’t mind if your pup likes to hang out on the couch or bed because we have furniture covers and clean often. There are also a ton of toys for your pup to play with! Additionally, we live close by Raymond City Park and go there every day for dog walks (with the occasional visit to Powell Butte if approved by the owner).

A typical day
It’s a quiet morning enjoying the backyard before breakfast. We take a stroll to the corner park in the morning, afternoon, and/or evening depending on the pup's schedule and do several laps. When not relaxing, sleeping, and/or playing inside, there is a lot of back yard time!
