About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for pets of many different breeds, sizes, personalities, and behavioral needs. Being a lifelong pet owner has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal is different. I currently share my home with Pigeon, my 8-year-old rescue, who has given me even more appreciation for the patience and trust that can be especially important with rescue animals. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual routine and personality, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I give my own. Building relationships with animals is an incredibly rewarding experience and something I truly cherish. I am currently a student at Oregon State University pursuing a Botany degree. All of my classes are virtual, so I am extremely flexible with my schedule and availability. I’m a big believer in meeting pets where they’re at. Some want to play and explore, some want nonstop attention, and others just need a little patience and space to warm up. I’ll get to know your pet’s personality and routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. About: I have had two years of occasional pet cat care for my family and friends. I provide dog walking, overnights at a client’s home, and dog and cat care. I have a full time job that provides work from home flexibility in which I can use to stay at your home to keep your furry friend company throughout the day. On days that I do have to go into the office, I will reliable spend mornings and evenings with your pets and provide them with essential quality time after work. I am currently unable to board pets at my own home. However, I am more than happy to spend full days and overnights at your own home when needed!
About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. At one point my family had eight cats and two dogs. I recently had a rescue cat that followed me home. He had cancer so I had to give him medicine orally every day. I have two 50 lb dogs right now as well. They are both rescue puppies and the first one I got was sick, so I had to give her medicine daily. She is great now! I am comfortable with dogs and cats that require extra care. I am a stay-at-home mom so as long as I'm not dropping off or picking up my boys, I am available. I have a vehicle so I can get to wherever I need to go. When I am at a client's house I will always follow the procedures and guidelines that they feel comfortable with whether I am taking their pet out for a walk or just checking in to make sure their pet is happy and healthy.

I allow the dogs on the couch and the bed in my office. Oscar is fully vaccinated and takes monthly Simparica. I regularly pick up poop in the yard. My neighborhood is quiet and safe. I am skilled at walking two big dogs at the same time and often do during my lunch break.

I cannot recommend Angela enough. Our cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and requires blood sugar checks and insulin injections. Angela handled this perfectly and provided thorough updates on his status. She came over to learn how to care for him and took detailed notes. Angela is very professional and clearly has a deep love for animals. She is a pleasure to work with. Look no further— you’ve found your pet care angel!
Marissa was great. We only had her for a couple of days for drop by visits, but she was accommodating and amenable. She played with the one of our cats that wanted to and sent cute pictures each visit. She brought in the mail and pulled in the garbage cans. Really appreciated her flexibility would easily book her again when we need someone for our 2 cats.
Rob dropped in on my two cats for a week. He proved to be intuitive and thorough with the feeding and litter box cleanings. He made friends easily with my cats, even with the younger, more skittish one. She has been known to hide for at least a week with other caregivers, but warmed to Rob in a couple of days. i would not hesitate to recommend Rob for any pet care needs.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
