About: Everyone needs an aunt nearby to check on their dog or care for their dog when you're away. I will spoil your pup with love and attention like I do with my German Shorthair Pointer! I work from home and have the flexibility to take your pup for a walk or stop by for a quick belly rub and potty break. And, of course, a little playtime! I love all breeds and sizes and respect each dog’s individual personality and needs. I can bring my friendly dog, Oscar, along for some play and socializing or come solo to give all my attention to yours! My goal is to help you worry less about your dog while your away from home to give your dog what they need. I work full time from home. My 1/3 acre lot is wonderful for active dogs like our GSP Oscar. Pups who prefer to lounge and snuggle have a spot in my office on the bed next to my desk. Oscar loves dogs of all sizes and so do I! Whether you need daycare or someone to love your pup while you’re away overnight, my lifestyle and home is ideal! I have a 1/3 acre fully fenced yard with lots of room to run! I allow the dogs on the couch and the bed in my office. Oscar is fully vaccinated and takes monthly Simparica. I regularly pick up poop in the yard. My neighborhood is quiet and safe. I am skilled at walking two big dogs at the same time and often do during my lunch break.

About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.

About: We love animals! They have so much fun with us on their vacations. We treat them like family. In addition to our own, we have cared for many animals over the years. Mostly dogs and cats, but we also have experience with chickens and horses. We have some basic dog training experience, as well. When we had our dog, we had a sitter that we trusted implicitly, and that peace of mind was invaluable. That is what we aim to offer you. We tend to book up quickly so it's never too soon to ask! We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl, Sally and while we're not ready to have another full-time dog yet, we'd love to hang out with yours. Our schedules are such that one of us is almost always home, so you'll have full coverage for your buddies. Whether it's your place or ours, we will give you the peace of mind in knowing your animal is safe and loved. Dog parks, ball chase, short walks, long walks, hikes, whatever their speed is, we'll make sure it's met. We'll also send photos and updates as often as you'd like. We're available for extended stays and regular, repeat visits. We have never canceled a booking. When there's a dog here, they're the star of the show. One of us works from home, so they'll have daytime companionship. There's usually walks in the morning, play time in a big, fenced yard, hang time, scratches, and toys. Dogs can snuggle on the couch or in bed with us. If we come to you, we will give them all the comforts of home and make sure they're loved on while having a great time. This is a non-smoking home. We have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space in the house if your dog needs to be crated.
