“Melissa is amazing! We are very careful about who is around our two rescues because they have trust issues and take several visits to warm up to friends and family. Melissa has been caring for our dogs for several weeks now and they love her! She took time learning their triggers and gained their trust. She is very communicative with us and playful with our dogs and I admire her attentiveness when it comes to security/our home.”

“Angela is a great pet sitter and was wonderful with my two cats. She was communicative and made sure to leave detailed notes about how the cats were doing. Really appreciate her and would strongly recommend!”

About: Everyone needs an aunt nearby to check on their dog or care for their dog when you're away. I will spoil your pup with love and attention like I do with my German Shorthair Pointer! I work from home and have the flexibility to take your pup for a walk or stop by for a quick belly rub and potty break. And, of course, a little playtime! I love all breeds and sizes and respect each dog’s individual personality and needs. I can bring my friendly dog, Oscar, along for some play and socializing or come solo to give all my attention to yours! My goal is to help you worry less about your dog while your away from home to give your dog what they need. I work full time from home. My 1/3 acre lot is wonderful for active dogs like our GSP Oscar. Pups who prefer to lounge and snuggle have a spot in my office on the bed next to my desk. Oscar loves dogs of all sizes and so do I! Whether you need daycare or someone to love your pup while you’re away overnight, my lifestyle and home is ideal! I have a 1/3 acre fully fenced yard with lots of room to run! I allow the dogs on the couch and the bed in my office. Oscar is fully vaccinated and takes monthly Simparica. I regularly pick up poop in the yard. My neighborhood is quiet and safe. I am skilled at walking two big dogs at the same time and often do during my lunch break.
“Lynden and Timothy did a great job taking care of my 2 bullies for the weekend. They also do drop in visits one day a week for me. They always take great care and send great photos as well.”

“Tiana kept us up to date every day with how our boys were doing. From the photos she sent, our cats clearly adored her spending time with them. Tiana went above and beyond keeping their food area and cat box clean. We will be booking Tiana for all our future travels!”

“Carolyn is very attentive to my pet and has done a great job with drop ins, especially since my pet was 2 days list op from being neutered and not feeling his best self. I appreciate how caring she is and attentive to his needs.”

“Jessica is amazing! She's been so patient with my 1yo stranger danger issues and so kind to my old boy who needs a little extra help here and there. She's also been very communicative on any questions or concerns, and has not once come across as annoyed at my near daily texts while I'm adjusting to have someone care for my pets. I hope to keep her around for a while.”

“What great dog sitters! Couldn't have been happier with the care, attention, and love my dog received while we were gone. Went above and beyond the call of duty. We feel very lucky to have found them!”

“ChristyLynn was able to accommodate a last minute drop in request. She was great with the dogs, they sense right away if someone is a dog person and she definitely is. She asked if it was ok for her girls to come for an evening visit and the dogs loved that. Great communication and appreciated the pics. Will definitely use her again.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.
About: Having lived with dogs my whole life, I'm happy to help with years of experience in dog care. As a very active student with a flexible schedule, I have time and energy to help with dog walks! I also have a lot of patience and energy to help with dogs who require extra attention and care. As an experienced house-sitter, I'm an organized and responsible helper with dog care which requires special attention to detail. Love to help out on weekends and weekday mornings or evenings around my schedule as a graduate student. I will be able to help more during my vacations, so I’ll be sure to share when I’m off school I like to make sure the pets are comfortable with me and treat them and the owners property with respect I would hope for myself. I like to make sure I leave a pet and home happier, calmer, and safely when I provide my services

“Karly was absolutely wonderful!! My love and I were a bit nervous leaving our cat with someone new for the first time but Karly made sure that our girl was loved and cared for during our long week trip. We highly recommended Karly for all pet care needs. We are so relieved to have found a great neighbor that will help take care of our girl while we are away. Plus, she has a new best friend! Thank you for being the best, Karly!!”

About: My name is Adrian and I am a PSU student making money to move out this summer, I love all dogs big and small and I have owned many throughout my life. I am a music lover at heart when I am not working towards my anthropology major. I hope to one day teach history and culture related classes to all ages of students. My family dog Olav is a large great pyranees mix, and I love him with all my heart. We go on walks, hikes, runs and swims together all the time and all over Oregon. I currently have 2 beautiful cats with my wife, Bowie, and Ziggy. I’m a student with a lot of free time and in need of work so I am trying to get as many walks and check ins in as possible. I am great at walking dogs and very respectful of others homes and spaces of others animals. I am attentive and caring towards all animals.
About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
About: I've had the privilege of caring for dogs for over a decade. I have experience administering medication, walking, cleaning and playing with puppies and middle age dogs. I am a full time artist with quite an open and flexible schedule. I am available during the day during the week and flexible during weekends. I love playing and spending time with my own cat, catering to her needs and spending time together. I have no issue crating other's dogs if asked.
“Deanna did a fantastic job caring for our 3 kittens. Never having left them before we didn’t know quite what they were capable of.. Deanna was creative and good humored, communicated frequently and honestly probably saved our house from complete kitten destruction!”

Tiana was great! She was very friendly and professional, it was clear that she has a ton of dog experience and accommodating of my dog who can be loud when meeting people from the first time. She was very responsive in communication and got some adorable pics. It was clear by the end of the drop in she won my dog over.

Joss is so wonderful with cats. I am one of those cat ladies who wishes she could call the cats up while I'm gone to see how they're doing, and it was even better to get Joss' daily updates. She not only kept them fed and on the right side of the door, but showed up at consistent times, kept them entertained, and gave them plenty of attention. They looked so happy in all their photos and I was so happy to know they were well cared-for! Thank you so, so much.

Melanie is amazing! She is wonderful with my dogs and always provides great communication and updates. She has watched my dogs multiple times, and every experience has been excellent. Melanie is incredibly sweet, kind, and reliable, and I completely trust her with my pets. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I will definitely continue booking with her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Chelsea was amazing with Ginger. Ginger wasn’t feeling well and was having trouble eating, and Chelsea was so patient and caring with her. She took Ginger for a walk, spent time with her, and was even able to get her to eat. Ginger also got some playtime in. Chelsea went above and beyond! I’d absolutely book with her again :)

Ryleigh was amazing and took great care of my two cats while I was out of town for a little over two weeks. My flight ended up getting cancelled and moved to the next morning. Ryleigh was more than happy to check in on my kitties for an additional night, with last minute notice. I received photos every day of my little boys, they got play time in, and she was kind enough to also water my plants once a week. Thank you so much, Ryleigh, you’re the best!!
