I'm a full-time, feline exclusive caregiver with a lifetime of knowledge in caring for cats of all ages and temperaments…. AKA a professional cat lady. My promise to you and your kitty is to provide not only exceptional care but loving companionship while you are away. Whether your cat is a low energy loafer, a kitten with crazies to get out, or the shy type who needs a little extra to feel safe, I will tailor our visits to ensure they get just what they need. I also know the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for your kitty, and will make sure litter boxes are always scooped, feeding area are s kept tidy, water and fountains get refreshed and filled, and any unfortunate messes are managed. Is there such a thing as too many cat photos? I sure hope not because I tend to send a lot! I’ll also include a little report from each visit of what we got up to that day and how your sweetie is doing. If your kitty always hides under the bed when company comes, then I’m the cat sitter for you! I have extensive experience working with shy and fearful cats and am especially proud of the number of kitties whose trust I’ve earned. There is no higher compliment then “wow, they never done that with anyone but us!” I use a methodology developed for socializing feral cats to make sure they know they’re in control and respected, so they can feel safe enough to come out of their shells instead of dreading your away time. Joss is a fantastic cat sitter. She was able to bond quickly with our shy cat which is not easy to do. She left thorough reports during each visit and sent many photos which we love!! We’ve used Joss before and were so happy to have her care for our cats again. She is incredibly reliable, but what really sets her apart is how naturally in tune she seems to be with cats and their individual personalities. We have an 18-year-old super senior with some health issues, as well as a younger, very shy cat, and she did an amazing job putting both of them at ease. They seemed so relaxed and well-adjusted when we got home, which really speaks to the quality of care and attention she gave them. Her updates throughout our trip were also wonderful. My son and I genuinely looked forward to them and loved seeing how the cats were doing while we were away. And she is somehow also an extremely talented pet photographer. She sent us some truly amazing photos of the cats. We feel very lucky to have found her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is reliable, attentive, and genuinely understands cats.

Schedule
Whether you need quick drop-ins or extended visits, I can accommodate whatever schedule is best for your kitty. I work all major holidays and year round so you can depend on me to be available (almost) all the time.
- CatsJoss can host up to 6 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know a bit about your cat’s personality, any special needs or medical conditions, and anything else you think is important (or just too darn cute not to share). Before our booking, we’ll have a Meet & Greet visit at your home to review all the details and logistics of their care, such as feeding and litter box clean up.
