About: Animals have been a part of my life for over 35 years, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I've shared my life with beloved pets, cared for neighborhood animal friends, and welcomed animals into my home. After losing our family dog a couple of years ago, I've found so much joy in sharing that love with other animals. Every animal has its own personality, quirks, and needs, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one. I'm also a registered nurse with 20 years of experience, which has made me patient, observant, compassionate, and attentive to the little details. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for a beloved family member. About: I have been caring for a variety of animals since I was young. I grew up with dogs and participated in 4-H for 10 years, where I worked with and showed dogs, horses, and goats at the fair. I have also provided dog and cat sitting services on and off for many years, including walking, playing with, and feeding animals. Madeline did a great job taking care of our cats. She made sure to ask questions about our cats and fill in details on them when they met. The communication during her visits was great, we were able to clarify a lot that may have been ambiguous to start with. Madeline is very attentive to requests and specifics, making her a spectacular pet sitter.

Anna was absolutely wonderful with Toby! She came twice a day while we were away, fed him his wet food, and stayed for the full 30 minutes to keep him company. Toby meowed, and screamed at Anna pretty much the entire time. I can only assume he had many important things to tell her about the state of the household while we were gone. Despite Toby's extensive vocal complaints, Anna was incredibly patient, sweet, and attentive with him. Knowing she was spending actual time with him rather than just giving him food gave us so much peace of mind. Anna was reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about Toby. We came home to a happy, well cared for and still very opinionated cat. I would absolutely book Anna again and highly recommend her!
I can't recommend Wendy enough - she's a gem! My kitty is on the shy side but warmed up to her quickly. Wendy was caring and reliable and also kept me supplied with pictures of my sweet boy. I knew he was in good hands, which meant I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation!
Charles was an exceptional dogsitter! I needed him last minute and he was very flexible as we figured out logistics. My dog warmed to Charles immediately. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
