Availability

**Walks** - I'm available Monday-Friday for recurring walks, with some flexibility on weekends as well. - My walking schedule is currently fairly full with ongoing clients, but I may have a few openings (depending on the exact day(s) of the week—feel free to reach out). - I have experience with big dogs (we have a Newfoundland) and have worked to improve leash pulling with past clients. - If your regular walker is unavailable and you need someone to fill in, I may be available for a same-day request. **Drop-In Visits** - I'm available all week for drop-ins. - I have experience with timid and high-energy cats, puppies who need extra attention, and senior dogs who want to take things slow. - I'm very detail-oriented when it comes to feeding, cleaning, bringing in packages, and locking up. **Flexibility** - I'm part-time Rover, part-time self-employed WFH, and I toss everything into my Google calendar to stay organized. In terms of scheduling, Rover always takes priority. - If you've got an ever-shifting work schedule that's tough to pin down week to week, don't sweat it — many of my clients fall into that category and I'm happy to accommodate.

This isn't a "quick job" on the side; it's a big responsibility, one I don't take lightly. If you're looking for a long-term walker or drop-in sitter, you can count on me to provide updates. It's easy to wonder how our pets are doing while we're away, even when we're supposed to be, say, relaxing on vacation. I'll send lots of pics! And I'll keep you in the loop about everything.

Information Jordan D. would like to know about your pet

I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet to ensure I'm a good fit for you and your pet(s). I encourage in-person facetime with all new clients for everyone's peace of mind. During the meet-and-greet, I'll take notes. If you already have detailed instructions listed in Rover or printed out, awesome! But it's okay if you don't — we can talk through the specifics. Nice-to-know details: •Notable behaviors, good or bad. As a default policy, I prefer to avoid other people and dogs during walks just to be on the safe side. •Preferred routes (for walks) and everyday routines (for visits) you'd like me to follow and help reinforce. •Any other context that'll help your pet feel comfortable while they're in my care.

A typical day

I want to make the most of each booking, whether that's an energetic and engaging walk, cozy couch time, some silliness with a favorite toy, or all of the above. Our pets have their individual likes/dislikes/quirks, and I aim to be as accommodating as possible. So if you've got any special requests or questions, please let me know.

Thoughtful dog + cat caretaker

Pet care experience

Animals have been my passion since I was a kid, and I've never lost that warm-and-fuzzy affection for cats, dogs, and critters of all kinds. I'm genuinely excited to meet and bond with more SE PDX pets through Rover. It's been such a rewarding experience. I enjoy supporting fellow pet lovers in the neighborhood, which is why I have such a small service area and why I always do meet-and-greets with new clients. Building long-term trust and rapport with pets and owners alike is crucial. It's the most meaningful part! I'm a focused, attentive, patient sitter, whether it's ongoing weekly walks or daily check-ins while you're at work or on a trip. I'm also thorough with my workload so that I'm not in a rush or overwhelmed, which helps me provide meaningful care every time. I know it can be anxiety-inducing to put your trust in a stranger through an app, and with that said, I take pride in being tidy, communicative, and reliable. I know the kind of care I would want for our spoiled girls, Ceci and Tilly, and I set myself to that standard as a Rover sitter.
