About: Everyone needs an aunt nearby to check on their dog or care for their dog when you're away. I will spoil your pup with love and attention like I do with my German Shorthair Pointer! I work from home and have the flexibility to take your pup for a walk or stop by for a quick belly rub and potty break. And, of course, a little playtime! I can bring my friendly dog, Oscar, along for some play and socializing or come solo to give all my attention to yours! My goal is to help you worry less about your dog while your away from home to give your dog what they need. I work full time from home. My 1/3 acre lot is wonderful for active dogs like our GSP Oscar. Pups who prefer to lounge and snuggle have a spot in my office on the bed next to my desk. Oscar loves dogs of all sizes and so do I! Whether you need daycare or someone to love your pup while you’re away overnight, my lifestyle and home is ideal! I have a 1/3 acre fully fenced yard with lots of room to run! I allow the dogs on the couch and the bed in my office. Oscar is fully vaccinated and takes monthly Simparica. I regularly pick up poop in the yard. My neighborhood is quiet and safe. I am skilled at walking two big dogs at the same time and often do during my lunch break.

“Allen has been the best caretaker for my Mini-Aussie, Mikka! We had a very thorough meet-and-greet for all questions and to meet his beautiful pup, Kaya. Mikka has spent the day with them 2 times now while I go to work and Mikka is now "a regular" every week. She has developed few anxiety issues during the pandemic and can be a bit reactive around other dogs, so I've been very hesitant about doggy day care in any other capacity, but Allen has listened to my concerns and been extremely careful with keeping an eye on her or introducing her to any other dog he's watching or who is using the magical little private gated dog park behind his house. He's been super helpful in correcting some of her behavior issues (like a very loud persistent bark that has made me crazy!), sends photos and updates frequently, and is very quick to communicate even in between stays. I'm so relieved my anxious dog is getting playtime and has such good care that I can trust every Tuesday, and she's making new dog friends finally. Thank you, Allen!”

About: I have cared for energetic puppies to old man dogs, kittens to old lady cats, rabbits, I have rescued lots of pets that needed special care, I've taken care of aquariums. Whatever care your pets need, chances are I've done something similar at least. I am a student with class on Wednesdays, and I I am available the rest of the week. I have a child, so I'm not available to spend nights away from home. I've had a lot of pets and I understand that every pet is different. About: Have experience raising puppies and bottle feeding as young as 3 weeks. I have worked with puppies as well as providing care and medication for our older puppies on end of life care. I love my animals like my family and I will love yours as if they are my own! I have two dogs of my own at home so I am used to incorporating potty and feeding times into my daily schedules. About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!

From the moment we reached out to her, she was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Kristen clearly has a genuine love for dogs, and it showed in the way she interacted with Ragnar. She took the time to ensuring that he felt comfortable and at home. We loved receiving updates, complete with cute photos of Ragnar happily playing and snuggling. It put our minds at ease knowing he was having a great time! When we returned, Ragnar was not only well taken care of but everything was ready for our pick up. We are so grateful to have found someone as wonderful as Kristen to watch over our baby.
