Hi! I’m kena! I am an avid dog (and all other animals) lover who is active and adaptable. I have been a full time dog trainer for the past year after four years of mentorship’s, not to mention five years in animal care both on rover/wag/ pet sitting for family, and working as a kennel technician. I specialize in behavioral modification & service work and strive to be a safe space for you to leave your pet with. I have skills with young puppies, reactive or spunky adolescents and elderly pups.

I have two friendly pups of my own, who are both friendly. They are able to be separated for my reactive friends. I offer structured walks daily as well as plenty of potty breaks in the yard. I prefer all dogs to be crate trained for bed time or while I need to be out of home. I am flexible with elderly dogs who cannot crate/ dogs who can use a playpen.

Kena did a great job taking care of Luther! I thought he would hide the entire time so imagine my surprise when I received a photo of him getting pets like he had known her forever. Kena did an amazing job keeping everything clean. I would highly recommend!!
Kena is a kind, experienced sitter and dog trainer. My dog has behavioral issues and anxiety, and Kena knew how to handle tense moments and help him feel safe. She was communicative with updates throughout the stay, and I really appreciated her giving my dog a chance. Her own dogs are well-trained, sweet, and great companions. Highly recommend!
Kena is great! The dogs loved them immediately!! I felt much safer about leaving Luna and Saru alone at home all day (and especially as a first time Rover client), knowing they’d be coming by to look after them. Thanks so much!!

Schedule
I work early mornings in a dog training facility daily for about 6 hours on average. I am able to bring furry friends to provide potty breaks during my work day.
