I enjoyed decades of loving and caring for my own dogs and cats, though their long, healthy lives. Through that I became familiar with medicating, training and creating happy lives for those lovable souls. My work on Rover hosting and house-sitting has been rewarding for the pet families I've supported, and for myself. I've hosted my neighbor's small older dog Marty for a week or long weekends and often assist my friend (a Star Sitter!) with walks and general attention/care when visiting them. My son's cats and hedgehog are happy to stay with me when they travel.

I cannot recommend Rob highly enough! He did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of my dog, Bubba. Rob is incredibly good at what he does and was so patient with him. Rob dropped in on my two cats for a week. He proved to be intuitive and thorough with the feeding and litter box cleanings. He made friends easily with my cats, even with the younger, more skittish one. She has been known to hide for at least a week with other caregivers, but warmed to Rob in a couple of days. i would not hesitate to recommend Rob for any pet care needs.
Robert was very communicative he took care of our dogs with care and respect. He sent pictures of them napping playing and on walks. Would book again. He was also very friendly and understanding

Schedule
My work is part-time, and I'm typically a home body. I'm generally open to distraction, the sort that I expect to encounter with pets, and the break from work routine is very welcome to me.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm able and willing to let your pet wander my home and fenced back yard. As they like, I enjoy providing affection and head, back, belly rubs and scruffs. I'm happy to tune my hours to meet a unique feeding or meds schedule. If its suggested and allowed I'm also good to offer reasonably timed treats, and of course daily walks in my quiet neighborhood - a dog-friendly area adjacent to a green trail.
A typical day
Walks and ball/toy tossing, scratching/scruffing/petting is usually on the menu. Depending upon your pet's age, attitude, I'm fine to engage in physical play, all according to your approval for such activity.

- I'm pleased to provide for your pet's special needs. Clear written instructions will always be the best route for that - info that you can provide or I can transcribe when we meet. If it calls for very specific details, I'm good to follow them to the gram. I can also intepret any described doses of bits, bunches, smidges, handfuls by reading your pet's age, size, demeanor, and response.
