About: I have had two years of occasional pet cat care for my family and friends. I provide dog walking, overnights at a client’s home, and dog and cat care. I have a full time job that provides work from home flexibility in which I can use to stay at your home to keep your furry friend company throughout the day. On days that I do have to go into the office, I will reliable spend mornings and evenings with your pets and provide them with essential quality time after work. I am currently unable to board pets at my own home. However, I am more than happy to spend full days and overnights at your own home when needed!

About: Hello! My husband & I work from home and have all the time in the world for your pampered pup! I have been fostering and taking care of neighbors and friends animals since I was 12, I am happy to accommodate any medication, sleeping schedule or special needs. We have a lot of time to cuddle and pay attention to our pups, and have extensive experience working with bulldogs & high maintenance breeds. My partner and I both work from home so one of us is home at all times. We have time to take breaks and make sure the dog's schedule is paid attention to and honestly use it as a bit of an excuse to take a break from the computer screens anyways. We own our own home in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and have a nice sized backyard with grass for dogs to play and romp around in! We have a large space and mostly hardwood for any accidents a pup may have :) Our neighborhood is very quiet and our backyard is free of any plants or debris that a dog could hurt themselves with! We have a 6 ft fence on one side of our yard - but since we are on a slope, the other side is 3 feet. We are always outside when our dogs are out there. Pet care is a part of our every day lives, we love having animals around and as a dog owner myself, know what make me happy and comfortable when I send my pet to a sitter. My partner and I both work from home so it's fairly easy to navigate any needs a dog has since we have a bit more time & consistent routine.

About: i was raised around dogs my entire life. i have a pup who is 4 years old who is like my baby. i know what it is like to have an animal that you love like a child & i want to help others out by treating their dogs like they’re family (: i am a stay at home mama at the moment. i have 3 years of experience working at a dog boarding and grooming shop as a kennel assistant 🤍 i have 2 fenced yards that are big enough for the doggos to run around in. there are many toys at my house for the dogs to play with and even have 2 friendly dogs for the pups to play with as well. my puppy is pretty active and wants to play constantly, she loves the comfort of another animal.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I'm not new to working with dogs. My life revolves around dogs and has for many, many years. I run my own pet services business, Hounds of Love PDX, and bring a lifetime of experience in all areas including rescue, handling, walking, daycare, sitting, fostering, transporting and volunteering with local rescue organizations, as well as for Oregon Dog Rescue and Dove Lewis. I'm a sighthound, small dog and senior advocate, and work with dogs of all sizes. I’ve always had an affinity for sighthounds(Greyhounds, Italian Greyhounds, etc), and understand their unique and sensitive nature well. I always put dogs first in every aspect of life, and feel they’re all part of my extended pack, and treat every dog as such. Safety is absolutely the top priority for me when working with pets. I’m always watching, listening and paying attention to their body language. I have a thorough understanding of dog behavior and know that each dog has a unique personality and needs, and that not all dogs are extroverts. In fact, many are quite the opposite. I’m naturally hyper-vigilant, yet focus on remaining kind, calm and confident when working with dogs, especially when out in the world. I’ve completed a variety of trainings with dogs over my lifetime, from canine good citizen, to flyball, to advanced therapy dog training. I’m Pet CPR + First Aid certified, as well as bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates. I always carry a well-stocked pet first aid kit in my vehicle, as well as water, bowls, treats, blankets and travel crates so as to always be as prepared. I’m professional, reliable, punctual, responsible, trustworthy and pride myself on practicing clear and transparent communication. I'm located in the East/SE Portland area, also near Happy Valley and Gresham, and I service most all surrounding areas. In addition to working with dogs, I'm also a part-time jewelry artist and I work out of my home studio. I make my own schedule and usually, always available. I can schedule around most everything. At my home, I have three small rescue dogs that are a bonded pack. We utilize pet gates in our one level, ranch style home, and dog run fencing in our large, fenced backyard. Open to small to small/medium dogs for boarding and daycare.

About: I am a dog groomer and sitter of 3 years, I have a standard poodle and a Mexican hairless dog. I also show my Mexican hairless dog in akc dog shows. I have experience with reactive dogs, intact dogs, and primitive dogs. My specialty is aloof breeds as I love the connection and bond, it makes it even more special when they trust you. I work full time as a dog groomer and admin at barkzone, but your pup would be able to come with me and hang out in the office safely away from the other pups with fresh water and access to a backyard for supervised potty time I have a separate dog room for feeding time and kennels for unsupervised time away from them. If they need to sleep in a kennel I have extras or they can sleep with me. I do not have a fenced yard but I can offer structured walks around the block or to the parks! And lots of play time

About: I have loved animals since I was a small child. So much so that I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. I started with my first pup, a springer spaniel named Trix, by training and showing him in 4H. We were in many competitions and even the state fair in Salem. I have since had 2 more cats and 3 more dogs. The latest a 55 lb pit bull named Chloe. She was the sweetest dog I have ever owned. She left us at 16 years of age, so I definitely have "elder" care experience. My husband joked that we were her "assisted living care providers", for the last couple of years. I would love to spend time with your pets for just a bit before my next one. The heart needs a little break. I am retired, so available all days and times to take your pet for a walk or just let them out to go to the bathroom in the middle of the day. I love to walk, and really like a 4 legged companion with me when I do so. Chloe was the queen of our home. She had her own bed, a blanket on the couch and special food. I was very careful to always anticipate her bathroom needs to keep everything neat and tidy. I would treat your home the same as my own.

It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. I’m happiest and genuinely feel most at-ease with animals. It’s important for me they feel comfortable with and around me. I know that much like human children, routine is very important to pets. Animals make my day, daily! Whether it be my friend’s dogs & cats or the Brahma bull that is up the road, I try to see an animal each day. I do have experience with animals that have high-anxiety, special needs and abusive backgrounds. I currently have a few tears in my meniscus which is preventing me to do rigorous walks. I will be scheduling surgery soon but that does not prevent me from tossing a ball around for a dog. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s)! About: I found out at had a love for animals at a young age. Before I ever had a dog my family had cats. We had mama cats and litters of kittens. One of the mom cats ran away and I had to bottle feed the kittens. I was dedicated and fell in love with those cats. I got my first dog when I was 16. I devoted myself to that dog. My whole life I’ve always enjoyed a good walk, a play and a cuddle with any willing four legged friend. Neighbors knew I had a love for animals. I got paid to feed and walk their dogs and to pet sit. I have experience with all types of breeds. Small, Medium, Large or XL I love them all. I put all of my dogs through training and have dealt with everything from severe allergies to hip dysplasia to getting old and turning blind. I have experience with it all. You can trust your pet will be in great hands with me. I’ll love your dog just as much as I love mine! Currently I am a stay at home mom of two boys, one being severely disabled. Throughout the week I do a lot of driving to and from. I have several free hours throughout my day. I get started around 5am and wind down around 10pm or so and I’m completely free on the weekends!! I have a large fenced in back yard. I have only one dog. He is a Pug/Boston Terrier mix. He weighs about 40lbs. His name is Pup Pup. He absolutely loves the company of other animals and will be sure to keep your pet entertained :)
