About: I have had dogs since I was 16. Cats since I was 20. I have also owned various other animals, including livestock. My schooling helped me learn general animal care and I have had the same dog trainer for 20 years. Our pets have regular vet care. I pet sit for friends and family often, both at their homes and in our own home. Just informational, I do live with males, including teens, who have attended dog training classes and help when I need to step out if the house. I also have a very large yard for lots of running and exercise. I work fill time, but remote. I can choose to be from home or in office so am available to watch pets at home all day, when needed. We have a large fully fenced yard. We do have chickens, but they are gated in their own area. I have a pet gate to keep dogs from going downstairs unattended and a door as backup. I provide a pet water fountain for constant fresh and flowing hydration. Pets get regular treats and training refreshers to keep their minds sharp and engaged. My house is inundated with both cat and dog toys for constant entertainment.

I didn't just grow up around animals — I grew up with them. We're talking dogs, cats, birds, and full-on farm animals. At any given point in my childhood, our place was basically a petting zoo with a roof. I've hand-fed, cleaned up after, played with, and genuinely loved more species than most people have on their bucket list. These days I'm a proud dog owner myself, and I've also fostered for multiple rescues and organizations — including the Puerto Rico Dog Fund and Many Miles from Home Animal Shelter — so I know firsthand what it means to trust someone with your fur baby. If your pet stays with me, they'll have a fully fenced backyard to roam and my 4-year-old smaller German Shepherd to show them the ropes — she's basically the ultimate icebreaker.

About: As a college athlete, I’m active, responsible, and used to sticking to a routine. I’ve grown up around animals and genuinely love giving pets attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m patient with nervous or shy pets and happy to match each animal’s energy level, whether that means a long walk, playtime, or a cozy day at home. I am comfortable handlings dogs of any size. I take care of my cat daily and help keep our 2 family dogs happy, active, and well exercised.
