“We are so happy to have Josh walk our pups! He came over for a meet n greet and it went fantastic! We had him scheduled for a week in June to do daily walks but since it went so well, we wanted to start sooner! He just had his first official walk and it went so great. He’s a great communicator and is very prompt! Lucky to have Josh helping with our pups!”

“Wendi went ABOVE and BEYOND for my Quinn. She met with me before the date so that Quinn could meet her and while Quinn is normally a one woman pup (me) she went to Wendi immediately and began bringing Wendi her toys to share. That has literally never happened before. Wendi also was flexible when my times needed to be adjusted. She communicated with me about how the drop ins and walks went and sent pictures. She also wrote a lovely note and created a water color of my Quinn. (not AI, she actually painted it) I highly recommend Wendi! I know my daughter plans to use her when she needs a dog walker/sitter next.”

“Yana has walked our dog Shasta many times and always takes great care of her. This weekend we asked if she would be able to help us out by feeding her dinner and breakfast at her walks and she happily helped us out. Would definitely recommend Yana!”

“Ali and Tom always take the best care of our boys and I feel like they’re in safe and loving hands when we leave. They’re very communicative and get to know the individual personalities of your babies. I love it when they send us pictures and can tell our boys are having fun! Highly recommend!!”

Extremely responsible, you can depend on me to be on time with your doggy schedule and needs. I'm comfortable with walks, feeding, check-ins! Communicative, just lemme know! I come with a flexible schedule as Im working part-time right now :) Most weekdays I am free for your needs! Weekends mostly late afternoons or nights. Please message me beforehand. Transparency is major for me, you'll always be the first to be consulted if necessary.
“Bethany was awesome me and my husband were going to be away on A trip our Dog Booker was staying home with our parents but they weren’t going to be able to give him the required exercise he needed so we figured we would give a dog walker a go! Bethany should up everyday to our house on time and Booker was always excited to see her! Each walk came with a picture and report which was great! Would definitely use Bethany again!”

I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes—from small breeds to large, energetic dogs—and I enjoy making sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I volunteer at a local animal shelter where I help walk and spend time with dogs waiting for their forever homes. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or pet sitting, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s routine so they feel relaxed while you’re away. I also love sending updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I work in the clinic four days a week, but I’m available on Thursdays and weekends. During those times, I’m able to dedicate my attention to walks, drop-ins, and spending quality time with pets. I enjoy being active and getting outside, so caring for pets fits perfectly into my schedule and allows me to give them the attention, exercise, and care they need I live in an apartment, so I make sure pets get outside regularly for walks, bathroom breaks, and exercise based on their individual needs and energy level. I’m dedicated to keeping pets active, engaged, and comfortable while they’re in my care. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and carefully follow the pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions.

“Elizabeth took her time introducing herself to my dog who was a little nervous at first but she won her over in minutes and off they happily went on their walk. My pup came back happy and sufficiently tuckered out. :) Elizabeth gave lots of details about how the walk went and did great with dog handling. I’ll definitely call on her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Beaverton
Jennifer is incredible. An actual professional. She always walks my dog a few minutes longer than scheduled when in the past I’ve had walkers not reach the allotted time frame. She contacted me days in advance to find out what precautions she can take to keep my dog hydrated in safe in the extreme heat and made sure to find a shaded walking path for her. My dog LOVES her!! And so do I!

Wendi went ABOVE and BEYOND for my Quinn. I know my daughter plans to use her when she needs a dog walker/sitter next.

Haley has been a perfect fit for our 12 year old lab. Haley made sure she got her exercise but also allowed her to walk and smell at her pace. Haley was ever mindful of the pavement temp and ensured she was safe and did not get over heated. The constant communication, picture and videos were wonderful. Haley is now our go to dog walker and we would highly recommend her. We could not be happier.

We love Mara! She has been amazing to work with. Super communicative, always shows up on time and treats our dog Penelope with love and care. We have a lot of stress relief knowing our dog is in good hands and with someone we can count on! We definitely recommend Mara!

We’ve had an amazing experience with our dog walker! She is incredibly communicative, reliable, and truly goes the extra mile every time. Han and Chewie absolutely adore her, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. She always sends lots of updates and pictures, which I really appreciate—it makes such a difference being able to see how happy and well cared for they are. While I was away, one of my dogs wasn’t feeling well, and she took extra care and attention to make sure he was comfortable and looked after. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to me. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring. We will definitely continue to use her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
