About: Due to issues with marking, I will only sit female dogs. I have two small rescue dogs of my own - both are under 15 pounds and gentle and playful with one another. I'll pamper your dog just as I do my own with plenty of cuddles, a calm environment and a fenced yard for potty breaks. I have extensive experience with dogs on med schedules and special dietary needs. When not out to potty - your dog will be with me - indoors. I am Sixty Seven years of age and a responsible homeowner. There are no children living in or visiting my home. Having your pet in my home is a privilege and I will always provide the optimum care for your pet. Please come visit me! Plenty of love and attention will be given to your pet. Walks, playtime & fetch. Unless provided a crate, your dog will sleep with me and my two small dogs, unless owner requests they be crated, or the breed or age of pet makes sleeping on a bed inadvisable. Effective 7/27/21: Any medical needs, special diet or requirements, a written list of that/those condition(s) is required. DROP OFF: BEFORE 9am PICKUP: 8:30pm-10:00pm. Mon-Fri DROP OFF & PICKUP BEFORE NOON - Sat & Sun Pets are alone from 3:30pm to 8:30pm M-F I have a 4,000 sq ft back yard. it is completely fenced and secure. I have owned my home for 19 years. During that time, absolutely no chemicals have been used. I do NOT ever leave dogs outside longer than 10 minutes. I feed the dogs at 7am and 6pm. Dogs will sleep on my bed unless owner provides a crate and prefers to crate their dog at night. I do NOT crate dogs during the day or while not at home. Dogs are allowed on all furniture.

About: Naturally gifted at taking care of others, let it be your pup! ♡ I'm very patient, kind, and responsible. That's the bare minimum! Never sell yourself or your dog short. I've grown up with dogs, my family has never NOT had a dog. Dogs will tell you in their own way what they need, and I listen! Extremely responsible, you can depend on me to be on time with your doggy schedule and needs. I'm comfortable with walks, feeding, check-ins! Communicative, just lemme know! I come with a flexible schedule as Im working part-time right now :) Most weekdays I am free for your needs! Weekends mostly late afternoons or nights. Please message me beforehand. I always have my phone charged and on my person, if you wanted updates on your pets or have questions regarding their care. If you have special instructions for how you like your animal to be treated, I'll always adhere to your preferences. About: Hello my name is Maddi, I am recent graduate from OSU with a degree in Natural Resources! I have always been really interested in animals and they are a large part of my life. I worked at the Oregon Zoo for 5 years where I helped take care of the goats and ran the petting zoo. My family has always had multiple pets from dogs to cats to reptiles and rodents. I love to help my family and friends by caring for their pets while they are away from home, I really enjoy meeting and caring for new furry friends! In my free time I enjoy reading, painting and watching movies. I pride myself in excelling in everything I do and that includes making animals feel safe and loved. I’ve never met an animal that I couldn’t create a bond with. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pet! I have a pretty open and flexible schedule this summer so I have tons of free time to take care of your pups! I am available weekdays for house sitting, drop ins and dog sitting from 9 AM-11 PM. I am available most weekends but not all! I currently cannot offer bringing your pups to my own home but I can 100% come to your home and I will play with your pups, walk them, feed them and give them tons of cuddles!!

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I’m an undergraduate environmental science student at Portland State, currently on summer break. I recently worked as a student research technician, handling and tracking frogs and documenting their habitats. My family has had our fair share of dogs and cats over the years, which contributed to my love for animals and the outdoors. I’ve cared for the pets and houses of friends and family since 2023, checking in throughout the day to provide meals and quality playtime. --- I enjoy figuring out how to build a true connection with animals, some more unique than others. My family has two cats with very distinct personalities: Evy, our affectionate 13 year old, and Sophie, our 2 year old feisty tortie. We rescued Sophie as a 3 week old kitten, and she began experiencing seizures at just 9 weeks old. This was a scary and confusing time, involving many emergency vet visits. She is now healthy and happy, on a strict schedule requiring medicine by mouth every 12 hours. Each pet I’ve been lucky to have has taught me something, and I’ve had to learn from her the most. She is a high maintenance kitty who doesn’t like pets. She shows her affection in unconventional ways, and I wouldn’t have it any other way :-) I will be out of state from September 3rd to the 15th. Otherwise, I'm on summer break so my schedule is quite open. I'm able to spend quality time with your pet(s) and can work with you to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I'm available for walks, overnight stays, and/or check-ins throughout the day depending on their needs. I'm most compatible with pets who can be left alone for 4-8 hours, as I have personal responsibilities and may need to walk a dog or check in with someone else's pets (or my own!). --- My current nightly rates are intended for 12 hour care (ex: 6 PM to 6 AM, 8 PM to 8 AM, etc.). Please feel free to message me if you have questions, concerns, or if your pet requires more intensive or constant care. I'll do my best make it work! I'd love to meet with you first and get to know your furry family to see if I'm a good fit for them. I enjoyed walking my dog 2-3 times per day in the neighborhood or on local nature park trails. When caring for others' pets in the past, I'd typically check in 2-3 times a day to feed, play, and relax with them, watering plants as needed. While most have been considered low maintenance, I've gained much more intensive experience with my special needs cat Sophie. --- I appreciate schedules and/or written instructions so I can better adapt to your pet's needs, especially if they require medications or atypical care.

About: I have been around pets my entire life. I bring a kind and calming energy to pet care. I know how to read a dog/cats body language. This helps me develop a positive trusting relationship with your pet. I currently have a senior kitty cat who is 16 years old and have had pets in the past that needed daily medication. I work from home with minimal meetings. This gives me flexibility for pet care and checking in, even if it’s on short notice. I also can work from other locations if longer pet care is required. I will follow whatever your instructions are to a T. If there is something I need clarification on, I will always communicate with you first.

About: I’m a huge animal lover and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I’m very dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every animal with the same love and care I would give my own. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routines and always keep owners updated so they know their pet is happy and safe. This and Uber Eats are my full time jobs. I will only be gone for a couple hours in the evening for Uber Eats some days and Sunday early afternoons I have church but other than that I’m available. I am very attentive to pet’s needs and listen closely to the owner’s instructions. No matter how big or small your animal is, dog or cat, I have unlimited patience and care.

About: I've had cats and dogs growing up my whole life. I was the primary caregiver, trainer and best friend. I also took care of many of the neighbors cats and dogs while they were away. And their farm animals as well. Also have experience from the Army training tracking and guard dogs. I am a retired latter carrier and a disabled Army Veteran. I have all the time in the world to devote to caring for your pets when needed. Particularly with dogs during the day. Walking is great for your dog and gets me the exercise that I need. It's a win-win. And it's a plus that I get the hang around with dogs. , i currently do not have dogs or cats of my own. I do live in an apartment but I'm close to many parks and trails. I'm available for a client's home sitting as well and will always abide by the wishes of the client for their pets.

I have 9 years of experience caring for cats, including feeding, litter care, playtime, and administering medication. I’ve also provided professional cat care during weeklong stays. For dogs, I offer gentle, reliable walks to help them stay active and happy. I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.
