About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I have three full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can be flexible with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I respect my client’s rules, preferences, and boundaries regarding their pets. I will avoid places they’re not supposed to go, keep them on leash at all times, socially distance them if requested, and never give them treats or food unless given owner permission.

About: As far as animal experience goes, I had two dogs growing up and have lived with and helped care for several dogs that belonged to roommates. I’ve been dog sitting with Rover for a few years now and have had all kinds of dogs. From puppies to seniors with special needs, and rambunctious to mellow. They are all wonderful in their own way. I do not have a dog of my own (yet!) but I truly adore animals of all shapes and sizes and think I’m a natural when it comes to caring for and befriending them. I have two cats that I consider to be my kids. They are very friendly and I’m grateful everyday that I share my life with them. I look forward to meeting, and hopefully caring for, your furry family member! Besides working for Rover, I’m also a commission painter and run a small eBay store out of my home. This means I’m home a good portion of the day if not all day with your dog/dogs. I try to treat any dog I watch like they are part of the family while at the same time trying to keep things consistent as possible with what they are used to. They are allowed pretty much anywhere in my home although I try to keep my bedroom as the cats' sanctuary. They will mostly avoid/ignore dogs but they are friendly and will at most bat at a dog getting too curious.
