About: I want your pet to feel like they're with a friend, so I go out of my way to build their trust and ensure they have a positive experience. Though not currently a pet owner, I've had several pets throughout my life and have volunteered for both the Humane Society and a wildlife hospital, where I gained experience with administering care and medicine to animals. I'm semi-retired, so have the time and flexibility to do things that I love-and one of the things I love most is spending time with animals! About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I have three adorable Mini American Shepherds, so while I love all dogs, herding breeds are definitely my specialty. I’ve got a big fenced yard and a doggie door, so the pups can run and play freely. I’ve also been involved in dog showing and agility, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about all things dog-related! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have experience with many different breeds of dogs and seniors. I have been known to refer to, as well as treat dogs like my own children. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous in making sure our senior pup was comfortable and happy, even going the extra mile when he wasn't eating very well. She worked with him to ensure he got the nutrition he needed, which really eased our minds. Our 1-year-old puppy also had a blast with Andrea, and we could see from the daily updates and photos she sent that both dogs were well-loved and cared for. We truly appreciated the time and attention she gave to each of them, and the peace of mind she provided us while we were away. We wholeheartedly trusted Andrea with both of our dogs, and we will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time we need a sitter. Highly recommend her!”
