About: Hiya! I’m a newer resident of the Portland area with a longtime background of caring for pets of friends and family hoping to fill a need in you and your pet’s lives. I love going on longer walks/excursions with dogs but also love just spending time in the neighborhood. I’m currently a part time post grad student looking to do some pet care during the day on weekdays, I can do weekends but mostly I’m looking for people wanting and needing pet time during their day to day work schedules when they can’t get home. About: My reason for doing dog sitting is that I love dogs. Your dog will be very loved here. Only small dogs, so your small dog will be comfortable here. A large, fenced yard for your dog to explore. Dogs are allowed on the couch, and we do lots of cuddle time. We'll do walks and play time so your dog won't miss home too much. I run my business from home. My schedule is flexible. Your pup will get walks and a loving companion. Dogs are my true love and I absolutely adore spending time with them. I have a large fenced yard as well as a dedicated indoor area for pups. Your pup will be able to sit on the sofa with us and snuggle. My pup Bernie loves making friends. They will keep busy

About: I want your pet to feel like they're with a friend, so I go out of my way to build their trust and ensure they have a positive experience. Though not currently a pet owner, I've had several pets throughout my life and have volunteered for both the Humane Society and a wildlife hospital, where I gained experience with administering care and medicine to animals. I'm semi-retired, so have the time and flexibility to do things that I love-and one of the things I love most is spending time with animals! I take extra care with pets to "meet them where they are," which means paying attention to their cues and adjusting my approach to ensure they feel safe. About: I have been a dog owner for 15years. Growing up I was never able to have a dog so it was very important to me when I moved out on my own to have one! About: We have a soft spot in our hearts for small dogs. We have had several in our lives over the years. We currently have a 4 year old Chihuahua. He is a rescue from the Humane Society so we are not sure of his exact age. Our 15 year old Chihuahua passed away 4 years ago and we have lots of experience with older dogs. We are practiced at having to give oral and eye and ear medications. We are also capable and available to watch larger dogs, It’s just not our preference. Your puppy, adult, or senior dog will get a lots of snuggles and playtime while you’re away. We like to go for walks. When it rains we walk around at The Home Depot for fun and adventure. I have plenty of time to play with your pup. I am available weekdays, weekends & holidays. We can take the dogs for multiple walks around the block. I have fenced yard, so your dog(s) can run around freely in the house and the backyard. I can crate your dog if that’s the routine.

I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Saint Bernards and German Shepherds all the way to Pomeranians, Jack Russel Terriers, and all sizes in between. I have lots of experience with walking large and small dogs, whether they be amazing on a leash or like to pull you around at full strength and speed. I also have lots of experience reading canine body language, working with territorial or dog selective pups, even with anxious or high energy pups. I have a very flexible schedule and often I am available on short notice for walks, drop-ins, or short (1-2 nights) overnight stays. Whether your pup just needs a walk while you're at work or they need a friend for a few hours to play and feed them, I will always do my best to be available. I currently only do pet sitting in your pup's home environment, however I find this helps make all dogs much more comfortable when their favorite humans aren't around. Additionally, there is a beautiful park with a large grassy area nearby, perfect for refreshing walks.

About: I was crowned the neighbor dog sitter at a very early age. By eight years old I was knocking on doors asking if I could take my neighbors dogs on a walk. I have always loved taking care of animals, and have gained a lot of experience with different species over the years such as cats, dogs, and maybe more. I am currently a student working part time and attending classes online. I live a very active lifestyle so taking your furry friend on a walk or run is my favorite part of the day! I typically work 4 days a week, but I am able to let your fur baby out on my lunch as well as getting a long walk in before and after my shift. It is my first priority to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. I will make sure to follow any sort of rules or special instructions you may provide.
