“Xanthia and her kids took great care of our cats while we were on vacation for a week. It is evident that they really love animals and my cats were so happy to get lots of attention while we were away. I would absolutely hire Xanthia again!”

“Adeline was amazing with our 7 month old Havanese! We can’t wait to use her services again. She has such a calm demeanor and is so kind. You can tell that she really loves caring for your fur babies. Do not pass up the services that Adeline provides, we are thrilled that we found her!”

“Marc is such an excellent pet sitter. I felt very comfortable and safe leaving my two fur-kiddos in Marc's care. Both my cats are very shy around strangers, but Marc was able to make a connection with them very quickly. I feel very lucky to have found Marc!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats growing up along with a few non traditional animals. My current pup is my world and I treat her like my child as she is one of my main priorities. I’ve always said “if you respect them they respect you”, and that is my philosophy which has never let me down. I look forward to meeting all of your furry extended family members! I currently work from home 5 days a week and am available for walks during am/pm with endless potty breaks in between. I have a dog park next to my apartment as well as a back yard which allows for your pet to get fresh air and stretch I have one small pup who loves to play and super friendly with other small/medium dogs. I like to give them space to play, let out energy and I do provide snacks if approved by owner of course. Pets will be able to roam freely unless I leave the house. I prefer if pets are crate trained and are accustom to it. Pet is allowed to relax on furniture and I allow plenty of cuddles and or space if they prefer it. Play time is also a must!
“Alexis did a wonderful job taking care of our kitties. She was very thorough and followed our directions perfectly. She gave me a great peace of mind that our cats were being taking care of while we were out of town. I'll definitely use her again in the future.”

“Renee was amazing. She was quick to respond and very polite. She took care of our 85 pound pitbull without any issues. She sent messages and photos daily which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Renee and will be using her again with upcoming vacations.”

I work from home and it can get pretty lonely so it's a win, win situation. I also know how important is its to keep meal and walking routine consistent. Your furry baby is in safe and Loving Hands. About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for other people’s pets since I was 12, building experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and keeping routines consistent to help pets feel safe and relaxed. My background in healthcare has strengthened my attention to detail, patience, and ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations, which translates directly into responsible pet care. I’m especially attentive to each animal’s unique needs, whether that means high-energy exercise, gentle care for shy pets, or extra patience with younger or older animals. I’m active, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so your pet will get both quality care and plenty of attention. I currently work part-time as an ED medical scribe, and my schedule can vary with occasional night shifts. Because of this, I am typically available 3–5 days per week, with flexibility depending on my work schedule. I can adjust my availability with notice to accommodate consistent care or recurring bookings. I provide attentive, responsible care in a calm and structured environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. I follow each pet’s routine closely and prioritize consistency to minimize stress while their owners are away. I have experience with dogs of different energy levels and temperaments and am confident managing both active and relaxed pets. I can follow specific instructions closely, including crating if needed, and ensure pets are always supervised, safe, and well cared for.
“J Does a great job with my pup and yesterday was super helpful because she drilled him on his commands and helped get some kongs prepped. J is reliable and communicates well.”

“Alyssa was amazing! She was thoughtful in her preparation visit, asking good questions to be prepared for any situation. During the visits, she spent a lot of time with our two cats and was good at respecting their personalities, working well with the social one and our less social one. We appreciated the detailed daily updates and pictures! She was also kind enough to water some outdoor flowers and left a newtoy for our cats! They will definitely be looking forward to seeing her again soon!”

About: Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had the joy of being a proud pet parent to a wide variety of dogs including German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Labs, Terriers, and even lovable Mastiffs! My experience with different breeds and personalities has made me confident, adaptable, and deeply understanding of each pet’s unique needs. Whether your furry friend is playful, shy, energetic, or a little quirky, I know how to meet them where they are and make them feel safe and loved. I’m also athletic and love staying active, so I’m more than happy to go on long walks or even runs with dogs who enjoy getting their energy out. I’m comfortable with larger breeds and high-energy pups, and I never shy away from a little jumping or roughhousing. In addition to everyday care, I have experience administering oral medications to both cats and dogs, so if your pet has special needs, you can trust me to handle it with care and attention. My approach is always calm, patient, and compassionate. I’ll treat your pet like one of my own. At the end of the day, I’m someone you and your pets can truly rely on. Whatever you need, I’ll be there with a smile (and probably a few treats in my pocket). Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family! Currently I work from home full time in a job that only requires me to have access to my phone at all times. Beyond that - I’m free to work wherever and whenever I want allowing me time to make my schedule fit the needs of my clients. When caring for your pet in their own space, I prioritize their comfort, routine, and happiness. I maintain their usual schedule- feeding, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and quiet time so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I treat your home with the utmost respect and make sure your pet receives attentive, loving care every step of the way. If your pet stays with me, they’ll be welcomed into a clean, safe, and cozy environment that’s tailored to their needs. I provide a calm, pet-friendly space with lots of enrichment, affection, and attention. Whether your cat needs a sunny window perch or your dog loves long walks and playtime, I make sure they feel like part of the family.

“Taryn is absolutely fantastic!! I knew from the meet and greet that it would be a great fit bc of how clearly and confidently she asked my pup to sit before receiving a treat. she gave super detailed notes of her visit with my anxious, senior pup Billie and took lots of photos and a cute video. she talks to my pup exactly like I do (the high pitched baby talk, my diva needs it) 😭🙏🏼 she has great attention to detail and followed all care instructions to a tee. I can tell from the photos of Billie that she was relaxed and I'm sooo grateful. this was a last minute hour long check in and I'm definitely going to book with Taryn again.”

“Ryan is new and we don’t have the easiest routine with our 3 cats. Two are seniors with special diets and we have a young Maine Coon who is not interested in his own food but is interested in muscling in on one of our other cats’ food. There’s a lot to juggle! We appreciated his questions as he navigated his way through the craziness and he also was very good about asking before there were any deviations, ie bringing someone with him, etc. I’ve been out of town working for a few weeks, so I didn’t notice that I wasn’t seeing check-ins and outs or photos. But again, since he’s new, it’s probably not automatic, so something to keep in mind for future bookings with others. Again, our household is not the easiest, but he did his best to accommodate our craziness, which we appreciated.”

“Marisa was awesome. We were on a week long vacation and had her come visit our 3 cats for 30 min a day. She took great pictures of them every day and communicated with us when she would be arriving. 10/10 would book again, this is the best cat sitting experience we have ever had. Thank you, Marisa!”

About: We honor the spaces of pets and allow them the time to become comfortable. We always assure they feel safe, and know we are a guest in their space or they are an honored guest in our family home. We love spending time with animals and have been fortunate to provide care to friends animals overnight and for daily care. My husband and I work full-time, on opposite schedules. We are available evenings during the week and weekends. During the week, we are more than happy to board pets as needed. I work from home, and he works only a few days a week. We have a fenced yard and we live in a dog lover neighborhood. We take our friends dogs on walks often, as needed. We have cared for family and friends dogs overnight and they all enjoyed their time at our home. We tend to spoil pets (based on parents discretion of course) while they are with us. Our home is their home, and we never want a pet to feel unsafe or unhappy while spending time with our family. Our family will care for them like our own.

I also volunteered for a cat shelter where I would clean and assist in enrichment activities for the cats. I am currently working a remote part time job. I have plenty of flexibility and am also an early riser. My job is flexible, and I am able to flex my hours. I always ensure that I sick to mealtime schedules and enrichment times. I will also support crate training and potty training, if needed. Making sure that your pet is supported based on their individual needs is important to me.

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have no fears of them or any predisposed notions about any breed of dog based on stereotype. I am happy to provide care for all breeds and sizes. I love animals and promise to do my absolute best in any situation, showing your animals nothing but love! I'm a substitute teacher and artist woth flexible hours, my own vehicle, and an enthusiasm about helping others. Thank you for your time and consideration. I work as a substitue teacher during the day and have flexible evenings. I am a cat owner myself and I always make time to take care of my boy, just as I will for your pet. I have a lot of respect for animals, owners, and their space. I keep things clean and try to leave the home and pets with a little bit of care.
King City dog parents share their Rover experiences
Camille is so great! I’ve needed to use her multiple times, super last minute, when my work or kids schedule take me out of the house longer than expected. She was great entertaining my dogs for a bit while my housekeeper was working and they had to be shut in the guest room during the cleaning. Thank you Camille!!

Hannah was a wonderful pet sitter for my pet family. She cared for our dog, two cats and 5 chickens while we were out of town! She also brought in the mail, picked up the dog poop and walked the dog. She gave updates each day with photos, and we greatly appreciated it! Will use her again in the future!

Sara was an absolute treasure. I always am clear that cameras are everywhere in my house. I can tell you these things as facts as I witnessed them: - Sara is warm and loving. My dogs are big and sometimes scare others, but are gentle giants. Sara was sweet and offered lots of love and cuddles. - Sara actually uses all her precious time to PLAY with your pets. I have had sitters that mindlessly scroll and just sit on their phone. Not Sara. She even tried to have my grumpy senior boy play, and got him to wag his tail and join in on the fun. So sweet!! - Sara is not only on time, but early. Many times I’ve had late sitters and my babies are on a schedule. Always breaks my heart when I am away. Not with Sara! She was eager to help. - she provided pictures and updates! She even asked if we had any treats for the fur babes. The consideration and care is next level… I will use no one else. I trust no one but her and I know my fur babies look forward to spending time with her next trip I take. Look no further y’all; she is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!

This was our first time using Rover, and we had a positive experience with Becky. Her updates during her visit helped us feel more comfortable knowing that our pups were content and well cared for. We appreciate her attention to our dogs and would be happy to invite her back in the future to help with their care.
