“Trula has been a blessing for Percy and I! I work long shifts so having Trula available to dropin on Percy for his bathroom breaks and some scratches/loves has been amazing and we are so grateful! I appreciate the pictures and videos Trula sends during her visits and the report cards after are very helpful and informative. Trula is great at communicating what Percy needs or what she needs to better care for him. Long story short, if you're looking for someone to care for your pet and she's available, pick Trula!!!”

About: - I’ve had/taken care of dogs for almost my entire life! - I often pet-sit for family friends - I work well with many varieties of dogs: energetic, puppies, old, slower, and everything in between! - I adapt well to new environments and dogs! I love getting out, especially in the mornings or afternoons for walks and playtime with dogs! I am very aware of my surroundings, what the pets are up to, and what their needs are as well

About: I've had many pets in my life. When I was four years old, my parents brought home two cats from the shelter, and ever since then I've been able to experience the joy of having furry (and scaly) friends. When I got a little older, I got to know the responsibility that it is to take care of them. I know that every pet is special- and many of our little friends need specific care, and I am more than willing to work with you to provide that care to your pet while you are away. I have an abundance of time this summer on both weekends and weekdays to take care of and play with your furry friends. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can make any timeline work to take good care of your pet. I am more than willing to ensure that your home is left as it was for when you return. I can take your dog out on walks, and if you like, I can take your dog out to the dog park. I'll play with your pet, or even just keep them company, and keep them fed and comfortable. Also, If you need, I'll bring any packages you receive inside so as to prevent them from being damaged or stolen.

About: Hello! I was previously a regular house sitter, walker, day carer, and day time visitor in Seattle prior to relocating to Oregon. I'm a physical therapist with expertise in humans and was raised around caretaking for family, friends, dogs, and cats. I have my own dog named Benji who is a testament to my love and nurturing skills. I'm working part-time in the Portland area and live close to the Tualatin community park. I've cared for dogs from ranges of large and small, puppies to seniors, as well as cats. In Seattle, I spent did some puppy and behavioral training specific to potty, leash, feeding, and tricks/obedience training. I have supplies to keep your pets smelling clean and fresh for returning from adventures. My car is dog friendly with a cover if your pet likes a nearby park/trail. I'm adaptable and teachable to understand your pet's personality as I am for humans in my career. When it comes to my cats, I respect their rules and needs. I’ve done drop ins for litter boxes, cuddles, refills for food/water, and occasionally medication. For more independent cats, I try to ensure they know a human is there to care and available for affection, but will not intrude on their space. I've had my own range of cats and kittens growing up. I'm primarily available for dog/cat sitting, drop ins, and walks. Since I have my own dog, I will always ask what's comfortable to you and your pets when it comes to group walks, car rides, and introducing my dog (or not). I've previously cared for pets that benefit from social time and my dog is a great neutral friend. My daytime drop ins can be flexible as needed based on whether they just need company or more enrichment related activities to be done together. I have taught and implemented enrichment and training during my drop ins, helped resupply or clean equipment (kong's, enrichment sniffer trays, lick trays, feed machines, etc). I'm currently working part time in Portland as a physical therapist and have control over my schedule. This means I can be flexible, available first thing in the mornings or early afternoons Monday-Thursdays with notice. My weekends are updated regularly and are typically Friday-Sunday. I live with my fiancé, who’s a doctor on alternating/rotating schedules and is an amazing dog dad! That said, he would be caring for our dog when I’m with your pets, and will only join/visit in care with your consent if it's in the home or a doggy day care day. My home has a fenced backyard on a sloped decline. It's great for short runs and fetch. I also have a backyard balcony with a turf mat for those that like to sunbathe. Inside, dogs would be on the first floor and is best suited for small to medium sized dogs. Our home has hardwood floors and does not have a dedicated open area, but our suburban neighborhood is walkable, with community park and two large open fields. In your home, I'm experienced in crate training, using/setting up play pens, helping/cleaning with potty training, dog proofing, and supervising play time closely. I wouldn't leave anything harmful out that I wouldn't want my own pet near. When I'm caring for your pet, I give the same amount of love I would to my own. I understand that most behaviors from pets are always well intended and a sign of needs, so I make time and effort to understand their needs and yours as well!

About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.
About: I started taking care of the neighborhood dogs when I was a kid and I loved it. I did some house sitting/pet sitting with two kittens and a golden doodle! I followed the routines and made sure to give them plenty of play time. I want to do more for my community, and I believe communication is important for building trust, so you will hear from me about any updates with your fur babies! I'm currently a stay at home student during the summer. I love taking care of our family dog Scarlett and cat Tinkerbell. I'm looking to gain more experience around my neighborhood! We have a fenced in yard where Scarlett can run and play. Tinkebell has her own catio! We like to give them plenty of outside time.
About: I really don't what sets me apart from other sitters. I've had pets all my life. I've only just started dogsitting for neighbors about 2ish years ago and so far they like me. I'm currently unemployed so pet care fits perfectly well into my daily and or weekly routine. It's a good way to earn some money in between job searching. I can easily follow instructions if you have a pet who has a more strict schedule or I'm pretty chill if your pet does not need lots of care.

Tualatin dog parents share their Rover experiences
Hannah was a wonderful pet sitter for my pet family. She cared for our dog, two cats and 5 chickens while we were out of town! She also brought in the mail, picked up the dog poop and walked the dog. She gave updates each day with photos, and we greatly appreciated it! Will use her again in the future!

Sara was an absolute treasure. I always am clear that cameras are everywhere in my house. I can tell you these things as facts as I witnessed them: - Sara is warm and loving. My dogs are big and sometimes scare others, but are gentle giants. Sara was sweet and offered lots of love and cuddles. - Sara actually uses all her precious time to PLAY with your pets. I have had sitters that mindlessly scroll and just sit on their phone. Not Sara. She even tried to have my grumpy senior boy play, and got him to wag his tail and join in on the fun. So sweet!! - Sara is not only on time, but early. Many times I’ve had late sitters and my babies are on a schedule. Always breaks my heart when I am away. Not with Sara! She was eager to help. - she provided pictures and updates! She even asked if we had any treats for the fur babes. The consideration and care is next level… I will use no one else. I trust no one but her and I know my fur babies look forward to spending time with her next trip I take. Look no further y’all; she is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!
