About: My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. I have a very flexible schedule so I am basically available 24/7. In my home I will provide a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m an active retired person with plenty of time to give.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and other pets since I was young. I grew up with all types of animals, I started my own dog walking business as a teenager and have continued to care for dogs ever since. I have been working with clients both on and off Rover for more than 10 years. Since I work evenings I prioritize spending time with and exercising your animals during the day so they can rest for the few hours I’m gone. I take into consideration you and your pets routines to create a schedule and environment we’ll all feel safe in. I will take dogs on hikes or neighborhood walks but will always keep a dog on leash unless the owner is comfortable and the dog has great recall. I will not take dogs to the dog park even if they can go with their owners just as a safety precaution. I prioritize frequent communication so an owner can feel assured their pet is being taken care of in the way they feel is best.

About: Although I have not taken care of animals, professionally, I have grown up with dogs, my whole life, and absolutely love being around them. Dog bring so much joy into someone’s life. I’m very detail-oriented and take pride in following your instructions exactly—whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, or specific behaviors you’re working on. You can count on me to be consistent, attentive, and fully present with your pet. I am currently moving to Portland, Or from Washington state. I am growing my pet flight nanny business and looking for a part time job just to start out. My schedule will be flexible and I can plan around what is needed for your pet. I am great at following a routine. If you need food served at a certain time every day I can do it. If overnight care is needed I am fine to have them sleep with me or make them comfortable wherever they want. If they require play time I can adjust for the weather if needed.

I work part time doing Uber and Doordash, which gives me the flexibility to ensure your pet is taken care of. I may check on them often, and ensure they have everything they need.
