Availability
Rover is my only source of income. You’ve booked my help, so your fur babies are my priority. Once they are provided for, only then do I give time to my other appointments, for myself or for pets. I keep all-day availability for drop-ins, and when I’m booked for an overnight stay, I reduce my drop-in availability by half to make sure that each family gets the attention due to them.

I enter a home carefully, blocking any exit for escape artists. (If your pet is used to being outdoors on their own, I ask that you provide me a way to enter the home with additional doors to prevent escape, such as a garage door opener; as you are trusting me with their care, I would be devastated if they are harmed on my watch.) I greet anyfluff who would like to grant me entry to their home. If your pet is high energy, I’ll fetch and toss and tug. If your pet needs more compassion and assistance, I’ll cuddle and offer help up and down the stairs. Strict diet? I feel that. Exotic animals? I’m super proactive on health standards.

My biggest concern is making sure your pet is being taken care of— please let me know when you get home so that I can comfortably check your fur-babies off my itinerary. I’ll worry about them until you’re home! I do house/pet sitting and make sure that your pets aren’t lonely. I do drop-in visits to be sure they are fed, watered, played with, and sufficiently pottied. I do not offer specific dog walking services because, while I can commit to making sure your dog has ample opportunity for outdoor relief and in/outdoor exercise, I cannot guarantee 30+ minutes’ walks/play *outdoors at a time*. Please let me know if your fur-baby needs special feeding/cleaning/medicating. Bathing and other grooming have an assigned add-on rate through the app. I have human CPR/First Aid and phlebotomy experience but am prepared to apply that knowledge or seek expert help to care for fur-babies in distress. I may not look like much, but I’m pro at learning the care your pets need.
A typical day
With my own pets, I give ample safe space to encourage play, enticing with feather wands, lasers, fetch toys and treats. With my friends’ pets, I give the requested head boops and bum scratches. With my family’s pets, I give the required hourly potty breaks. Since I do so regularly for myself, my friends, and my family, I’ll do the same for you. And I’ll leave your home as clean or cleaner than you leave it.

*** 🎆 Independence Day: ~8hrs afternoon unavailable/return before dark *** I’ve had rodents, reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, fish, birds, cats and dogs throughout my life; I can count on one hand the years I’ve been without a pet. I want the fun of taking care of your fur-babies and I want the challenge of giving them the health and love they deserve while you’re away. And, yes, I’ll feed your sourdough and water your plants. ***With my diverse work background in retail, food service, office administration, and medical assisting, I have experience to meet the indoor home safety, outdoor weather/terrain knowledge, and exercise/nutrition/medical needs of your pet.

Sky always dependable and my pooch loves her. Very attentive to my dogs needs. My cat just wants to make sure she gets feed on time LOL.
Sky did a great job house sitting and caring for our cat, frog, and tortoise. She has helped us several times before and is always communicative and detail oriented, and we appreciate all the great photos. We look forward to working with her again!
