“I am so grateful for the love and care that is given to my fur baby during his stay! They go above and beyond and send me the most wonderful updates! I give them 10 stars!!! ✨✨😁💃🏻”

“Our 8 year old Harvey is a Golden and doesn't go to sitters very often. Our children are grown with their own families, which leaves Harvey as our "spoiled, only child". He can get anxious being left in new situations with new people. But not with Jill! He took to Jill right away. She is very kind, calming, and easy going. Her Lab Cooper, welcomed Harvey and they got along right away. We have never picked up Harvey, after being away, and had him so happy and relaxed. He obviously enjoyed himself, felt secure, and had a good time! We want to thank Jill, and her family, and Cooper. We highly recommend Jill, and we are thrilled we have found her to look after Harvey whenever we go away.”

“Katie and her husband were wonderful with my old dog. He was well taken care of and Katie kept me informed. she handled medication administration and was responsive to his directions, which he shared to get his needs met. Thank you Katie.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Kelsi! Will definitely book again next time we need a sitter. She took amazing care of my dogs and communication was great. We got fun little updates and pictures everyday. Thank you!!”

“My dog Bobi had a great time with Suzanne! She loved playing with her dogs and going in and outside all day. I feel she was in great hands with regular communication from her and will definitely use her again.”
“Barbara is a really warm person who my dog took a shine to right away. I was very comfortable leaving my little buddy with her and it sounds like they had a great time 🙂”

“I could not have asked for a better family to watch my dog! Samantha and Brian were so kind and accommodating with my older dog! My dog had some issues initially acclimating to the new environment and they went above and beyond to make him feel at home. To the extent that Brian slept in the living room with him, where my dog felt most comfortable. Their children and their pup were wonderful with him as well! The family even accommodated me picking my dog up a night early since our holiday plans changed. This family really was a blessing when we needed to leave our dog for the holidays! Thank you again!!”

“Once again, Oliver had a great time and was so well taken care of. The day before our trip, Ollie had an issue with his foot and was put on several medications. Stephen's wife, Connie, made a meds chart to ensure that every dose was given on time. That wasn't something we had planned for, but they were so great about it. That really allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. Thanks so much, Stephen and Connie!”

“I was so happy to hear Millie had a great time and everyone had a great time with her!! Such a beautiful home and beautiful people, we found a loving place for Millie to spend time whenever we visit Portland! Thank you to the family again, Millie and I so appreciate the accommodations☺️💕”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“Dottie's care for Oatmeal was top notch!!. She went above and beyond, paying close attention to Oatmeal's needs, providing personalized touches, and keeping us updated. Her passion and professionalism make her an outstanding pet caregiver. She knows and understands various breed tendencies which is extremely helpful. We highly recommend her!”

“Amy is great! She responded right away when I contacted her and followed up with me on the morning of Coco's stay with her. She was very flexible and accommodating, which my husband and I really appreciate. We loved getting the picture updates of our spoiled princess. Thanks again, Amy!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was so happy to find someone like Alexis to care for my dog over Christmas weekend. She was easy to communicate with and friendly during the drop off. She sent me text and photo updates each day. My dog has been napping ever since I picked her up so I know she was well cared for. I will definitely book with Alexis again!”

“So glad to have found Jessica! I was very nervous to leave our dog Cora for a few nights as we’ve rarely been away from her… Covid puppy! Cora had so much fun and enjoyed her own vacation with lots of dog friends. Jessica sent updates and photos so I knew Cora was doing well.”

“She is very lovely and caring person, and she took care of our dog very well. Roseinda was sending a lot pictures of our dog and making sure he is getting well taking care. Thank you for your great service, we appreciate that!”

“Nancy is so wonderful - a safe and loving temporary home for our very special little guy. We not only felt comfortable knowing Nancy was giving Teddy the best care, but also that they were probably both enjoying each others company while we were away. Teddy came home in one piece and was his same normal, happy self. Thank you so much for opening your home to Teddy, Nancy - we hope for more visits soon!”

“Rebecca did an amazing job with our dog and took us on last minute, which was very helpful. She sent us updates with a picture and we knew our dog was in great hands. If we are back in the area, we would definitely use her service again.”

Loki had a wonderful weekend here. Juliann kept us up to date with the photos and videos. Loki gets along with the whole family and even with their cat Mango. Juliann sent us with updates, pictures and videos timely and with so much details. I would definitely consider boarding here again. This is my best boarding experience so far in this app

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
93% of Wilsonville sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Wilsonville landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wilsonville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wilsonville.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
