“I cannot say enough nice things about Juliann and her family. Our Marvel is always well-loved and gets lots of exercise when he stays with them. Most importantly, I know my boy is safe and happy while I’m away.”

“Katie is wonderful. She doesn't tolerate doggy rudeness and made our dog take treats nicely. It looked like our reactive rescue had a fantastic time with Katie. She took him on nice outings where he could be off leash safely. She also helped us out in a pinch as we had a miscommunication with another Rover sitter and didn't have long to find someone new. She is our new go to, for sure.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Kelsi! Will definitely book again next time we need a sitter. She took amazing care of my dogs and communication was great. We got fun little updates and pictures everyday. Thank you!!”

“Rebecca did an amazing job with our dog and took us on last minute, which was very helpful. She sent us updates with a picture and we knew our dog was in great hands. If we are back in the area, we would definitely use her service again.”

“Suzanne is awesome. She was so caring and patient with Bella. She sent us tons of pictures and updated us everyday on how Bella was doing. We would definitely recommend her to anyone with a small dog. We are so happy to have found her.”

“Susie was fabulous. She sent regular pictures and updates and took such loving care of our dog. It was so nice to be able to relax and know he was in good hands. Would definitely recommend!”

“Liz was exceptional! Our pup had an excellent stay and was so well taken care of. She was so flexible and accommodating when we had to make a few different time changes. We would 100% book with Liz again!”

“Jennifer & Eric and the boys were great company for Oliver. He came home tired and that's a good sign. We appreciated the option for sitter-pick up and thank you for taking good care of our boy.”

“Barbara is a great awesome caregiver for my Maggie. She kept us updated every day and it seemed like Maggie probably didn’t wanna come home cause barber shows a lot of love towards animals. I would recommend her highly.”

“When Clyde didn’t bark not once when we first met Angelique, I knew he was going to be in good hands. He usually barks at all strangers at first! She went above and beyond with Clyde! She was so loving to him and sent me plenty of pictures and updates on his care so that I could have peace of mind.”

“Angela was an amazing dog sitter! We left our fur baby with her during our long vacation. She updated me every day with pictures and how Winston was doing. Great experience!”

“Samantha and Brian’s family watched our Wheaten Terrier for two weeks. They kept us updated with photos and we knew he was in good hands. Thanks for giving Charlie lots of snuggles while we were away.”

“Siru was very kind, reliable, and accommodating to our needs and made my dog feeling very comfortable, as he can get nervous going to new places. Would definitely book again!”

“I would highly recommend Steve for caring for your pets. Our family went on a last minute trip and lucked out with finding Steve to watch our dog Arlo. We set up a meet and greet beforehand and he and his wife were so kind and hospitable. Arlo immediately felt at home. I received many photos and updates while we were away, and he was spoiled and loved on every moment with them! He didn’t want to leave when it was time to say goodbye. The best part is that we made some wonderful new friends and knew that Arlo was in good hands!”

“Jessica took such great care of PB while we were away! I can tell she kept him busy and active by how sleepy he’s been since coming home. He’s one happy guy, and it’s clear he had a great time with her!”

“Lucy had a great time and I felt very comfortable knowing she was in loving hands ❤️ they were also very understanding and flexible! Will definitely book with them again!”

“I feel so relieved that I have someone like Myrna to leave my dog Shanti with when I go out of town! It’s always a really easy process and I love the photos I get while away. I can tell my dog is cared for and happy whenever I return home. Thank you Myrna! - James & Shanti”

“Dottie provided excellent care for Sahara on her second stay. She administered an appetite stimulant I gave her and figured out the types of food that my little finicky eater would go for. She texted several pictures while I was away and Sahara was obviously content and comfortable. I’m very satisfied with Dottie’s service.”

About: I have experience in giving pets medications weather its pills or injection. I have experience in elderly pets, I am very patient and very attentive, and I have great communication. I do pet care as my main job, so it fits in my day perfectly. Plus I can take the pet (s) with me when I have to leave the apartment for any length of time. I will always communicate with the owners before hand. I am VERY attentive to every pet/clients that I take care of. I always make sure to have some booties on hand. Depending on the weather, I always make sure the pet is in the shade, on the grass, or even some dirt. I make sure that I have extra pet rain gear as well

This was our first time leaving our dog with a pet sitter and Rebecca’s experience with dogs helped ease our concerns. She was good about responding in a timely manner and provided some photo updates during our trip. She understood our dogs needs and we really appreciated that she didn’t push him beyond his comfort level while staying with her.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
