Availability

Being a homeschool family, we have significant time flexibility and routine to care for your pets needs. If you can't get home from work in time, I can help take the stress off and swing by to care for your pet. If you board with us, we will spoil your dog (or cat) rotten with love and affection. If boarding: Myself and/or husband are always home for potty breaks or exercise. Your dog will receive a morning and evening walk in a lovely and safe neighborhood. We value our sleep at night- if your dog has separation anxiety and barks all night long, we may not be a good fit.

Safety, trust & environment

I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and have owned a cat for most of my life. We desire to build lasting relationships and repeat clients through open communication and quality and loving care. Meet and Greets are valuable to confirm if it will be a good fit for all. You, the pet parent, are just as important as your pet! For drop in visits: Our tweens accompany myself for safety and accountability while they learn job skills. Bonus- you get more hands to love your fur baby! If walking your dog: We will spend a few minutes connecting and praising to establish comfort and trust before, during, and/or after the walk. We pay attention to weather conditions and pavement temperatures, offering water breaks as needed. If boarding: My supervised tweens will spoil your pet rotten with affection and regular interaction. We own a single story home and have air conditioning. Your pet has access to our fenced backyard and all areas of our home. They will also have a mellow indoor cat in which to interact. Be prepared- your pet will get loads of love and attention! Our home is clean, neat and constantly evaluated for pet safety. Our home/yard are available for preview if you have additional concerns about boarding. Weekends we strive for 3 mile walks in the mornings and evening yard play in the backyard.

If boarding your pet: We have basic items such as a crate, food bowls, blankets, etc. You can bring your leash, food, and personal comfort items, and a sweater, if needed. We have air conditioning. We value our sleep at night- if your dog has separation anxiety and barks all night long, we may not be a good fit.

A typical day

We will exercise your dog (in our walk-friendly neighborhood), or play with your cat (if they're in the mood) for as long as they socially allow us. Our two homeschooled tweens would love to take breaks from studies to dote on your pet. Your dog can have regular attention or a bit of freedom, if they want to be in our large shaded backyard together or distracting us from schoolwork.

Pet care experience

We are a homeschooling family that deeply cares about your pet(s) and their individual needs and personalities. Both myself and my husband have owned a pet (dog and cats) our entire lives and feel they are a valuable member of the family unit. I have a healthcare background and feel comfortable administering medications and/or injections, if needed. We value our pet families and desire long-term relationships. Our exceptionally responsible tweens will assist us as they learn business, communication skills, and work related experience, while loving on your pet. (My son loves picking up poop!) They anticipate getting to know your pet's individual personalities and love them like a member of our own family.

We went on vacation out of state and could not take Bella with us. It truly helps us enjoy ourselves when we know she is being well taken care of. Juliann sent us updates with pics and kept us informed of how her days were going. Her son Jack bonded with Bella, which was a big +++. Bella is a small dog and gets nervous easily but she adjusted well. We would definitely recommend Juliann and her family to anyone looking for a good responsible caregiver for their furry family members.
