“Liz was incredibly accommodating and super responsive to all of our questions and needs. She was very helpful with our pup, and it gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. Our pup seemed to have a wonderful time playing with the other dogs and spending time at her home during our vacation. Liz checked in frequently and kept us updated on how he was doing, which we really appreciated. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and we’re very grateful for the great care she provided. “I could not have asked for a better family to watch my dog! Samantha and Brian were so kind and accommodating with my older dog! My dog had some issues initially acclimating to the new environment and they went above and beyond to make him feel at home. To the extent that Brian slept in the living room with him, where my dog felt most comfortable. Their children and their pup were wonderful with him as well! The family even accommodated me picking my dog up a night early since our holiday plans changed. This family really was a blessing when we needed to leave our dog for the holidays! Thank you again!!”

“I’m so grateful I found Julie! I was nervous to leave my sweet girl with anyone since she has been struggling with some health issues. Julie was the best person I could’ve chosen. She was very understanding of my situation, of my dog’s health concerns and everything. She was very responsive and kind. My sweet girl had an amazing time with Julie and her family-she honestly didn’t seem to want to leave! She was happier and more energetic than I’ve seen her in a while. So grateful for Julie for offering her home and her care.”
“It is incredible. Zack loves it when he gets to see his friend. Kinda sad he wants to leave so easily with her. lol. Fantastic host, love having her watch him. Thanks for your help.”

“Nadine was great! We were coming from out of town and headed to the beach but visited family for a couple days who doesn’t like dogs in the house, so we needed to find a place for our dog for a couple days. Nadine sent pictures everyday to let us know how Milly is doing. She has an amazing backyard and her pets were very friendly with her. Milly isn’t crate trained and Nadine was more than willing to accommodate that and let her sleep in the bed. Will definitely use her again when we come to town!”

“Angelique provided peace of mind for me while on our trip. I loved her updates, pictures, videos and the compliments she gave of my puppy. This was my first time using Rover and she made it smooth and lovely. Definitely booking with her again!”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our girl with anyone so we were very nervous on how it would go! Nancy was so reassuring that Paisley would do well. She sent us pictures to keep us updated on how she was doing. Paisley came home one happy girl! We are so thankful to have found Nancy and highly recommend her!! We will definitely use her in the future!”

“Chloe provided a safe a friendly home away from home for our girls. She was a great communicator and our dogs were happy in her home. I would definitely trust her with my dogs again!”

“Jean was awesome putting our minds at ease leaving our 2 babies for the first time ever. She sent us pictures and let us know how they were doing while we were missing them terribly! She’s a warm loving person and we’ll definitely want to use her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Aurora
Fantastic experience! Stephen (and his wife Connie) provided us extreme peace of mind with their excellent, customized care for our dog who thrives as an 'only' dog. There was great effort, on their part, to recreate the routines that makes our dog comfortable in their canine-friendly home. Throughout our 10-day trip, we received communications at least daily in the forms of photos, videos, and text updates...proving how happy and relaxed our dog was while in their care. When we picked up our dog, he was chill and calm...like he'd be happy to keep hanging out with Stephen and Connie!

I would highly recommend Steve for caring for your pets. Our family went on a last minute trip and lucked out with finding Steve to watch our dog Arlo. We set up a meet and greet beforehand and he and his wife were so kind and hospitable. Arlo immediately felt at home. I received many photos and updates while we were away, and he was spoiled and loved on every moment with them! He didn’t want to leave when it was time to say goodbye. The best part is that we made some wonderful new friends and knew that Arlo was in good hands!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
