My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Only your dog(s) will be in our care during your booking. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for.

Steve and his wife did a wonderful job of caring for our dog, Dax, while we were in the area for a couple of days. Steve sent pictures and updates and Dax felt right at home with them. I will definitely reach out to use Steve again if we're in the area in the future.
I couldn't be more happy with the care my dog Leo received while Stephen dog sat for us! We received daily photo's, videos and updates, and it was clear my dog was well cared for and adored. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to Stephen and will definitely be using his again for future pet care!
Steve was wonderful with my very nervous dog, Marty. He provided me with regular updates and pics during his stay. Steve took the extra step to get Marty to eat and drink by hand-feeding him. I really appreciate how much he seemed to want to make the experience as positive as possible to get Marty to come out of his shell. I wouldn't hesitate to use Steve again.

A typical day
⸻ A typical day with me is easygoing and active, starting off with a nice walk to stretch out and sniff around the neighborhood. I’m home and available throughout the day for company, playtime, or just hanging out together. If your dog loves exercise, we’ll take additional walks or spend time exploring local trails, if they prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to sit with them, offer treats, and keep them feeling safe and loved. Your dog’s day with me will be predictable, comfortable, and full of attention…

The more I know about their cues, fears, quirks, and daily habits, the better I can maintain consistency and reduce stress while you’re away. Whether it’s a certain feeding schedule, medication timing, favorite toy, or a specific way they like to be approached, I’ll use all of that information to make sure your dog feels safe, understood, and cared for just like they do at home.
