My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for.

Fantastic experience! Stephen (and his wife Connie) provided us extreme peace of mind with their excellent, customized care for our dog who thrives as an 'only' dog. There was great effort, on their part, to recreate the routines that makes our dog comfortable in their canine-friendly home. Throughout our 10-day trip, we received communications at least daily in the forms of photos, videos, and text updates...proving how happy and relaxed our dog was while in their care. When we picked up our dog, he was chill and calm...like he'd be happy to keep hanging out with Stephen and Connie!
Stephen was great. He took Beckler to the park for walks and sent us pictures almost every day while we were gone for a week. We will use him again when needed.
Stephen was great with our 85 lb Lab. He helped with walks for two straight weeks, was always on time, provided great updates but most of all he was thoughtful about coming into our home to pick up the dog. Highly recommend!
Once again, Oliver had a great time and was so well taken care of. The day before our trip, Ollie had an issue with his foot and was put on several medications. Stephen's wife, Connie, made a meds chart to ensure that every dose was given on time. That wasn't something we had planned for, but they were so great about it. That really allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. Thanks so much, Stephen and Connie!
Stephen watched our dog, Oliver, for us over a long weekend. He and his wife, Connie, were great and Ollie was very happy with them. He was definitely spoiled! We received several photos from Stephen while we were away, which is always nice to see. It was so reassuring to know that he was so well taken care of. We have already booked Stephen and Connie again for our next, longer trip!
If I could leave 6 stars for Stephen and Connie, I would! I'm new to the area and recently had to leave for a long work trip. Trying to figure out how I was going to get my dogs taken care of was so stressful...until I met this amazing couple. The peace of mind they gave me while I was away knowing that my dogs were safe, cared for, and even loved was all I could hope for in a dog sitter. On top of being fantastic with my dogs, they're also just great people who I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know!

Schedule
After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. I have a very flexible schedule so I am basically available 24/7.

A typical day
⸻ A typical day with me is easygoing and active, starting off with a nice walk to stretch out and sniff around the neighborhood. I’m home and available throughout the day for company, playtime, or just hanging out together. If your dog loves exercise, we’ll take additional walks or spend time exploring local trails, if they prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to sit with them, offer treats, and keep them feeling safe and loved.
