About: I have been a professional pet-sitter for over 20 years. I believe pets are not just companions, but family members. I grew up with a cat and a dog, and a dream about one day having my own horse. I am originally from Wisconsin, where the seed for working with animals began in middle school while volunteering at the local Humane Society. I have volunteered for animal organizations on and off ever since (that's one of my foster pups in my profile photo!). I am also a writer/editor, outdoor lover, yoga practitioner, and blues/swing dancer. I spend the majority of the day at home with your pet(s), and love to go on walks and play frisbee/ball in the yard. I'm also a sucker for cuddling on the couch. I look forward to spoiling your loved ones while you are away! I work from home as a writer/editor, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my daily routine. I love going on daily walks. I treat your pet(s) and your home as if they were my own. I am a homeowner myself and know how to responsibly care for a home. When boarding your pet, I love to play frisbee/ball in my fully-fenced backyard with a 6-ft fence.
“Kaylee was amazing! She spent time with our kitties, played with them, fed them, and even gave them treats that her cat didn’t love. She was a clear communicator and reliable! We’d have her watch our cats any time!”

“Susan did a wonderful job taking care of our dog while we were on vacation! She was so caring, had excellent communication, and updated us with photos and details each time she dropped by for a visit. We highly recommend Susan, and will be using her again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of 4 dogs at once. 3 big, 1 small. They required a lot of attention. I also had to give medication to 2 of the dogs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and fitting to their needs I have school during the weekdays from 8-9 am to 2 or 3. I am able to spent the night at peoples houses and change my schedules to fit the dogs needs. I am able to do anything that fits the owners needs. I make sure to watch the dogs often and give them attention they need.

“If you are worried about leaving your dog, the best thing you’ll ever do is ask Liz to care for her! My 14 yr old pit, who needs meds and diapers and lots of “extras” was spoiled and got so much love while I was gone for a week. She sent plenty of texts and pictures daily and answered all my questions immediately. There’s just not enough room here to express how much Liz means to me. As long as she’s doing this, she will be the one for my girl!!”

“Matthew did an amazing job coming by our house to check on our cat and gather our mail. He contacted us with updates on how everything was. Would definitely have him house sit again in the future.”

“Allison was absolutely FANTASTIC with Ollie. I love the communication and actually working with Ollie on his walks and manners. Would 10/10 recommend and will be booking with her again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. My whole family is big on dogs and I am prepared for any situation…Healthy dogs to dogs with medical care needed. We have had dogs from as small as tea cup Yorkies to big English Mastiffs. Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I am home from college and looking for a summer job. My schedule is flexible and can be available week days and weekends. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! I am comfortable taking your dog for a walk and letting them play in parks. As well as playing in the yard and giving them lots of time to run around. Making sure they are fed, hydrated and rested all the time is also very important.
“J Does a great job with my pup and yesterday was super helpful because she drilled him on his commands and helped get some kongs prepped. J is reliable and communicates well.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs in a wide range of environments—from raising my own multi-dog household to fostering rescue dogs with diverse personalities and needs. Dogs aren’t just part of my life—they shape how I live it. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with managing different temperaments, energy levels, and household dynamics. I understand how important structure, supervision, and reading body language are—especially when introducing new environments or routines. Through both personal experience and rescue work, I’ve developed a strong skill set in caring for senior and specialized-needs dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications, including injections and subcutaneous fluids, and have experience supporting dogs with mobility challenges, arthritis, and limb differences (including tripods). I’m also experienced with crate training, post-procedure care, and maintaining consistent routines for dogs who need additional support. I’ve worked with dogs coming from high-stress or transitional situations, so I’m especially patient with anxious, shy, or more complex personalities. I take the time to understand each dog’s needs and meet them where they are. I’m attentive, reliable, and highly tuned in to each dog’s individual needs—whether that’s active play, calm companionship, or more hands-on care. I also prioritize clear communication, so you’ll always feel updated and confident while you’re away. I’m comfortable walking dogs in a variety of environments, including neighborhoods, trails, and more natural settings. I tailor walks to your dog’s comfort level, energy, and leash skills—whether that’s a structured neighborhood walk or a slower, more exploratory outing. Safety, awareness, and control are always my priority. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are always my priority. To ensure every dog receives the level of care they deserve, I’m intentional about taking on the right fits and may ask a few questions before confirming bookings. I work a consistent weekday schedule and build my day around the needs of the dogs in my care. I’m up early for morning walks, feeding, or medications, and I return home midday to check in, let dogs out, and provide a short walk or break as needed. I’m typically home by the early evening and prioritize time for longer walks, attention, and routine. My home also has a securely fenced yard with multiple dog doors for safe, convenient access throughout the day. Weekends are more flexible, allowing for additional time, activity, and individualized care depending on your dog’s needs. Dogs in my care are treated with a high level of attention, structure, and awareness. With a multi-dog household of my own, I’m very mindful of introductions, energy levels, and group dynamics to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable. I have a securely fenced yard with multiple dog doors for safe, consistent outdoor access, and I maintain a calm, structured environment inside the home. Dogs are always supervised during interactions, and I can easily separate or crate as needed based on temperament, routine, or owner preference. I’m equipped with crates for dogs of all sizes and have custom gating that allows me to section off areas of the home—including spaces with direct outdoor access—so each dog can have a setup that best supports their comfort and safety. I take time to understand each dog’s behavior, triggers, and needs, and I prioritize safety in all environments—whether at home, on walks, or in new settings.
About: I offer more than 20 years of hands-on animal care experience and a calm, professional approach to every visit. Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, goats, and other animals through pet sitting, personal ownership, and professional animal work. My background also includes horse training, barrel racing coaching, and riding instruction, which taught me how to read animal behavior, stay attentive, and handle a wide range of temperaments with patience and confidence. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and for owners to feel confident while they are away. I am dependable, attentive to detail, and comfortable following specific care instructions, routines, feeding schedules, and household preferences. Whether a pet is energetic, shy, independent, or needs a gentler approach, I aim to provide thoughtful, reliable care and clear communication every step of the way. Pet care fits well into my routine because I am able to plan my day around scheduled drop-in visits and arrive reliably within the agreed time frame. I value consistency, punctuality, and clear communication, and I understand how important routine is for pets. I keep my schedule manageable so I can give each client’s pet the attention, care, and updates they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their home, their routines, and their instructions. I follow feeding directions carefully, make sure pets have fresh water, handle potty breaks or litter box care as requested, and pay close attention to behavior and comfort. My goal is to provide calm, dependable care so pets feel secure and owners feel confident while they are away. I also communicate clearly and send updates so clients know how their pets are doing.
“Sophia was able to accept a last minute booking for me when my friend got sick and couldn’t check on my kitty! She was responsive and followed my directions exactly. Will definitely book her again!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life! My mother was a dog breeder, meaning I have experience with puppies! I can’t remember a time when we didn’t have a dog in the house growing up, wasn’t till recently that I haven’t had a pet in the home. I’m a single mom to an animal loving 3 year old, who would be my little helper. I currently work in the medical field meaning I’m comfortable administering all kind of medications, whether that be topical, oral, or injectable medications. I have done pet sitting in the past, I have taken care of many kinds of animals, dogs, cats, horses, livestock, you name it I’ve probably taken care of it! I currently work full time, but I am home on evening and weekends, so I’m home starting Friday night to Sunday night to take your pup out as often as possible. During the week I am gone typically 12-14 hours a day, but if your pup is use to that I can make it work to let them out in the morning and then rush back to let them out once I’m home. I live in a duplex with a small fence in area that I can do quick potty breaks and then live close to walking trails for longer outside times. I have a 3 year old daughter who loves to play with animals. I also love close to parks that I can take dogs to if owner is comfortable with me transporting them. I also live close to my sister who has an active dog who loves friends to play with so that is an option if you have a high energy dog that likes friends.
“Tanya was amazing! She responded right away and was great with our dog. She even went above and beyond to stop by and meet us earlier in the day. We would definitely use her again.”

“Nicole is amazing with my bunnies and guinea pigs!! She takes pictures and communicates daily. She makes sure they are fed, have fresh water, veggies, and clean cages! She also asks questions if needed. I would book Nicole again in the future for my special-needs and elderly and high maintenance exotics pets in a heartbeat!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oregon City
Emily was an awesome sitter. She responded promptly about her availability and setup a get acquanted visit. While we were away we immediately felt great relief in the promptness of her visits. She was very proactive about asking questions to make sure everything was being done correctly. When our pup had issue she made contact immediately and stayed with her until we were all sure everything would be ok. Very conscientious.
JuliAnna was fantastic! We left our 6 year old dog with her last minute. This job required her to be extremely flexible. Our trip out of town was last minute and we had never met JuliAnna prior this but we had her a chance and we lucked out! She handled our dog fantastically with almost no guidance from us. Extremely trustworthy and my dog had never been this happy. I can’t recommend JuliAnna enough!

Susan did a wonderful job taking care of our dog while we were on vacation! She was so caring, had excellent communication, and updated us with photos and details each time she dropped by for a visit. We highly recommend Susan, and will be using her again in the future.

Mary was great!! She sent visit pictures and commmunicated with me every step of the way from first meet and greet to the very end of returning keys. Coco missed me but I think she misses Mary now. I would definetly reccomend her for any of your sitting needs, Thanks so much Mary. You made it easy for me to leave and not worry.
We’ve worked with Katlynne several times and she’s always done a great job! Our pets are pretty high maintenance and we always get nervous leaving them, but she’s very reliable and goes above and beyond our care instructions. She was even willing to check on and feed our chickens!

Second time booking with Lavery and she was great as always! She’s always fast with her communication and drop ins are perfect. Our dog is so much more comfortable and less stressed out when he’s able to stay home vs boarding so this is the perfect option for us.

Erin was a lifesaver when our pet care fell through for our recent vacation. She was amazing with our dog who is usually a little slow to warm to people, and gave us update as to how he and our cat were doing while we were away. Couldn’t recommend Erin enough!

Sofia looked after our pack for 6 days. Upon returning home our pups were so well adjusted, it's like we never left at all! I would definitely recommend her, you will not be disappointed! She is sweet, dependable, calm and patient. Thanks again Sofia, you are amazing!
