Shianne was fantastic! This was our second booking with Shianne and our dog was so happy to see her! Shianne has everything we would want in a dog walker - clear communication, patience and skill with dogs, warmth and professionalism. I'll definitely look to Shianne any time I can't walk my own dog in the future.

About: I am a compassionate and dependable pet owner with over a decade of professional experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals of all ages and needs. I prioritize safety, communication, and comfort for both pets and their humans. Key Strengths - Comprehensive care: Walks, playtime, medication administration, litter maintenance, and vet and grooming appointment trip coordination. - Behavior awareness: Familiar with animal body language as well as stress reduction strategies. - Reliable and friendly communication: Timely updates with pictures and quick check-ins. - Adaptability: Experience with young animals, seniors, special diets, and pets with special needs. Pet and house sitting is a central part of my life and my full-time career. I have open availability for providing your pets with the best care and company they need. About: I worked at a vet clinic for 3.5 years but due to life changes I now work at a pet store and petsit to continue to work with animals while I work towards my goal of working in vet med again. I’m reliable with my own transportation and am very knowledgeable in proper pet care. I am communicative, compassionate, and attentive to animals and their needs. I have been my own friends’ and family’s pet sitter for the past 5 years and I treat every animal as if they were my own while in my care. My whole life revolves around animals; I have 4 cats of my own and have fostered 15 animals successfully in the past year, ranging from cats of all ages, dogs, and Guinea pigs. I also work directly with animals at my job and am looking to continue that path. I have multiple rooms in my home to separate the animals in my care if needed, I have access to professional services if an emergency were to arise while also having knowledge of what to look for in with different medical conditions that can be present in animals. I have a good understanding of animal behavior and I understand their needs.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I want to hang out with dogs! I have a 3 year old golden retriever, a cat and a tortoise. You can definitely tell that we love taking care of pets! I am looking to change up my schedule, so it is likely that most of the time I will be available every week day in the morning until about 2 in the afternoon! In my home, we walk a lot! Our dog is high energy and doesn’t really get tired from exercise. We take her on long hikes often but she usually will want to play after! I hope to be able to provide some of that same excitement with your puppy, and replicate the amazing experience I’ve had on the app as a client!

About: I've been around animals my entire life. My family has owned dogs since I was about 6 and cats since before I was born. Since I was 15, I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and my neighbors which has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, personalities, and levels of need. I know that every dogs has its own special needs, and I will always make it my priority to provide attentive, loving, and reliable care. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every dog as if they were my own. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you are away. I am working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with the pets in my care. While I will need to leave for a few hours during the day, I make taking care of your pets my priority. On most work days I am able to stop by during my lunch break and check on pets, let them outside, take them for a short walk, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for. Outside of work hours, I will be available to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship to ensure your pet feels happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and cared for while maintaining their routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, basic bathing and grooming and any special needs. I also make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean environment. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know them and build trust. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm routine, I adapt my care to meet their needs. I can also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away. I am also willing to do basic home care and cleaning for the client while I am staying in their home.

About: I have had dogs since I was 16. Cats since I was 20. I have also owned various other animals, including livestock. My schooling helped me learn general animal care and I have had the same dog trainer for 20 years. Our pets have regular vet care. I pet sit for friends and family often, both at their homes and in our own home. Just informational, I do live with males, including teens, who have attended dog training classes and help when I need to step out if the house. I also have a very large yard for lots of running and exercise. I work fill time, but remote. I can choose to be from home or in office so am available to watch pets at home all day, when needed. We have a large fully fenced yard. We do have chickens, but they are gated in their own area. I have a pet gate to keep dogs from going downstairs unattended and a door as backup. I provide a pet water fountain for constant fresh and flowing hydration. Pets get regular treats and training refreshers to keep their minds sharp and engaged. My house is inundated with both cat and dog toys for constant entertainment.

About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs in the house, even one gerbil! Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals since the age of 12, and I have experience administering medication and feel comfortable with any extra care your pet may require. I am a freelancer and my last contract ended recently. I am appreciating this downtime, which means I have an open schedule to provide care throughout the day for your pets. I would like to meet your pet in their own environment to keep continuity, and am happy to set up a check-in schedule with you for updates about your pet’s day and routine, including pictures if requested.

Hannah is fantastic. Low-key loves and her loves her. Excuse me one thing though Loki is an English cream golden retriever. I’m not sure whether it was pilot error on my part when I put in what type of doggie is or not, but if it can be changed. It should be changed to an English cream, golden retriever
