About: I’ve have one Doberman that my dad made sure I was apart of the their training and raising. So I pick up poop every week, wash them when they’re dirty, walk them every other day since she’s about 5-6 months old so has a lot of energy. I also take her to vet appointments and I help feed her dinner. I’m very experienced with big dogs and little ones because I have friends and family with dogs that range from chihuahuas to cane corsos/giant schnauzers/Hungarian sheepdog. I can do walks and pet-sit after school. On the weekends I can stay overnight if needed. I’m willing to adjust depending on the situation! A bunch of butt rubs and back scratches! I like to really connect with the dogs so if they prefer silence or tv that’s fine! Also feeding them on time and getting them out to use the bathroom on time helps create that trust and bond! I can play with the dogs to their content since I’m young and have the energy!

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I grew up on a farm and have experience caring for animals of all sizes, disabilities, and those that require senior care. I can do walks, drop in’s, and dog sit while you’re away. I’ve also adopted and raised two tuxedo kittens, giving me hands on experience with both dogs and cats. I’m currently working mornings and I’m open Monday through Saturday after 12 PM. I prefer to have Sundays off and my mornings spent with my kittens. About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs in the house, even one gerbil! Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals since the age of 12, and I have experience administering medication and feel comfortable with any extra care your pet may require. I am a freelancer and my last contract ended recently. I am appreciating this downtime, which means I have an open schedule to provide care throughout the day for your pets. I would like to meet your pet in their own environment to keep continuity, and am happy to set up a check-in schedule with you for updates about your pet’s day and routine, including pictures if requested.

About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.

About: I've been around animals my entire life. My family has owned dogs since I was about 6 and cats since before I was born. Since I was 15, I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and my neighbors which has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, personalities, and levels of need. I know that every dogs has its own special needs, and I will always make it my priority to provide attentive, loving, and reliable care. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I am working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with the pets in my care. While I will need to leave for a few hours during the day, I make taking care of your pets my priority. On most work days I am able to stop by during my lunch break and check on pets, let them outside, take them for a short walk, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for. Outside of work hours, I will be available to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship to ensure your pet feels happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and cared for while maintaining their routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, basic bathing and grooming and any special needs. I also make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean environment. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know them and build trust. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm routine, I adapt my care to meet their needs. I can also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away. I am also willing to do basic home care and cleaning for the client while I am staying in their home.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life! The last dog I had was for around 8 years. Unfortunately lost him to cancer a few months back. Looking to spread my love for animals while also trying to make a living and do this part time! I am able to take the dogs on walks and do whatever is needed. I have experience with anxious dogs as well. I train and teaching Brazilian jiujitsu full time. My schedule consists of 1-2 private lessons a day that last 75 min each. I am very available and flexible. My training time is usually at night from 6-9pm. I work 2 days a week at Whole Foods 6-3pm. Depending on your area I can take the dogs out on my 30 min lunch break. I have tons of time and am looking to fill that time with taking care of animals! I care and take care of my dogs like as if they were my own children. I always ask owners if they have any special preferences for their dogs. I have experience with anxious dogs and dogs that do not do well with other dogs. I will always treat all dogs and your dogs with kindness and love!

About: I have been a certified veterinary technician for 6 years. I've been taking care of pets ranging from fish, reptiles, dogs, and cats for pretty much my entire life! I also worked as a positive reinforcement dog trainer for a couple years while in tech school. As a veterinarian technician, I feel confident administering medications, am comfortable with animals with medical conditions, and also know dog/cat CPR. I also have experience with fearful or reactive animals. I no longer work in a veterinary hospital so I able to spend as much time w your pets as needed. I am currently open to booking any day of the week and can stay overnight. While I'm at home I am always cuddled up with one of my pets and it would be no different in your home! As a pet sitter/walker, my goal is to give your pets the attention they want and follow the routine you have. I want their time away from you to be as stress free as possible. I do not let pets under my care socialize with unknown animals or people. I also do not do off leash activities unless in a fenced in area.

About: I grew up with 4 dogs and 1 cat in the house . I taught my current dog many tricks like shake and sit . I am back home from school for the Summer. I don’t have a job and am not in summer school right now so I am available pretty much every day at anytime needed . I have a fenced in yard that for my dog to go out and throw the ball for . I take him on daily walks . I bathe and brush him . I also feed him twice a day and check on his water bowl . I could do all the same at a clients home!
