“Wow. Jade went above and beyond for my cat. I told Jade before she watched my cat, Sister, that I was nervous because she’s such an anxious cat and I didn’t want things to be too difficult. Fret not. I come home to see my cat out in the living room- basking in the sun, not a care in the world. She wasn’t hiding like she usually does when new people are around, no, she was purring and relaxed. When I went to pet Sister, I made a crazy discovery. Her nails? Trimmed. Her hair? Washed. Not only that, I had told Jade not to worry about the litter box since I wouldn’t be gone for long. And what did Jade do? She deep cleaned it. Deep cleaned my cat’s litter box just because. About: I become best friends with nearly every pet I meet. I grew up with a dog (my sweet Lilikoi) and have sat for multiple family friends. I prioritize pets' needs and comfort level; my dog is a very anxious girl and I understand how it can take time for them to warm up. About: I have worked with many different animals for years. I love dogs and cats and will give your fur baby tons of care and affection as if they were my own. I can also work on training if ever needed. I have a large German Shepherd and a small short haired cat. I cannot do boarding because I have a puppy. I have experience administering first aid for many different animals so you can rest easy having your pet with me. I have a bachelors in fish and wildlife conservation ecology and my love for all animals runs strong. As for cats, I can drop in to feed them or play with them or just give attention too. It is always hard saying goodby to the pets I watch because I try to treat them with as much care and affection as possible and really bond with them. Anna was absolutely wonderful with Toby! She came twice a day while we were away, fed him his wet food, and stayed for the full 30 minutes to keep him company. Toby meowed, and screamed at Anna pretty much the entire time. I can only assume he had many important things to tell her about the state of the household while we were gone. Despite Toby's extensive vocal complaints, Anna was incredibly patient, sweet, and attentive with him. Knowing she was spending actual time with him rather than just giving him food gave us so much peace of mind. Anna was reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about Toby. We came home to a happy, well cared for and still very opinionated cat. I would absolutely book Anna again and highly recommend her!
Kimberly immediately recognized our beloved cat was having a medical problem, and was immediately communicative and got him to emergency medical care, waiting there as long as was needed, setting aside her own plans. She was so kind and treated our little Watson like he was her own family. While he remained in the hospital, she constantly offered to be supportive and see/comfort him as we were trying to get back in town. Ill never forget the impact this kindness made for our family. Sydney was absolutely wonderful! As a new cat mom and a first-time Rover user, I was a little nervous about leaving my two ragdoll one year old boys, but Sydney immediately put me at ease. I don’t understand the psychology of pet owners and pet providers… perhaps it’s the common bond of loving animals, but i handed Summer our house keys within 30 minutes of our meet and greet appointment. I generally don’t do that easily. Summer was responsive to our requests for our cat’s care and meal plan and arranged to fit into our schedule without question. She sent us great photos and answered our questions promptly.
