When caring for pets in one’s home, I am all about sticking to their routine. A wonderful aspect of petsitting is the ability to keep the animals comfortable within their own space. This can reduce any stress and provide a sense of comfort. In addition, I love to offer them extra fun! This includes extra play time, longer walks and tons of snuggles. While their parents are away, I want them to enjoy their time too ☺️

Please don’t hesitate to share any/all info about your pet. I value knowing their likes/dislikes and quirks. Do they have a favorite toy? Where do they like to sleep the most? Any hiding spots? How do they do with other dogs on walks? Are they sensitive to loud noises like doorbells? The more I know about them helps me provide the best care and make them feel most comfortable.
A typical day
As I mentioned, I love to make an animals time with me like their own mini vacation. This means longer walks, extra play time and lots of snuggles (if they are interested, of course!). I love to take fur-babies to places like Tryon Creek and other walking trails. Not to mention, dog parks can be a ton of fun. Nothing quite like socializing with some new furry friends!

I am so lucky to have had animals my entire life. I have grown up with several kitties, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, you name it! Dog/cat walking, grooming and cage cleaning are second nature to me. I am experienced with a variety of sizes and temperaments ranging from Great Dane to Chihuahua. I’ve worked along side my family fostering bottle fed newborn kittens up to 20 year old dogs. Outside of Rover, I consistently work with 5 families a week providing care for their dogs through walks and trips to appointments. I also have the privilege of providing care to 3 alpacas, 5 chickens and 1 rabbit who live together on a farm. I help feed and clean their pens throughout the week. I absolutely love it! Establishing long lasting, trustworthy relationships with animals and their families is highly important to me. I will always treat your pets like they are my own and go above and beyond for their needs.

She was absolutely lovely from start to finish. We got the introductory meeting quickly and the boys were delighted to meet her- she followed their routine wonderfully and they obviously found her the trustworthy sort. While I was gone, I received lovely pictures of my happy boys and came home to them well tended. I’m grateful for her work with them.
Sydney is fantastic! Salty just about loses his mind every time she arrives because he is so excited to see her. She communicates well and is very punctual and we are very lucky to have her helping with our favorite little guy!

Sydney is great. Our cat Elsa is 19 and very shy. Sydney has made a great effort to get to know here and make her comfortable during their visits. No other sitter has gone as far. Sydney is very much appreciated here.
