“Susie couldn’t have been kinder to my two geriatric pups, who made themselves perfectly at home and had a lovely time. It’s such a great feeling knowing I’m leaving them in a caring environment while I’m traveling, and she sent so many wonderful pictures throughout their stay. They will definitely be returning!”

“Jean did a great job. She has a great yard for the dogs to run in. She was great with my dogs separation anxiety and didn't leave them alone. She also helped my anxiety with texts And photos. I'm so glad I found her. ”
“Our little senior doxie, Rocky, spent 2 weeks with Barbara and we couldn’t be more happy with how it went! Barbara gave him lots of love and cuddles, and they spent some time watching Dodger baseball together. Rocky can’t wait for the next time he can spend time with Barbara 😊”

“Kristopher was very helpful and accommodating in setting up boarding for my dog just a few days before I needed to leave town. He put my mind at ease with leaving my pup with someone I didn’t know. I got updates and photos of my boy each day and I’m pretty sure Kristopher could make a living doing pet photography! Should I need pet sitting again, I will certainly seek out Kristopher again.”

“Jamie and Nicole took very good care of our dog and kept us posted with many happy photos. Our dog seemed to miss Jamie and Nicole the first night we took him home. We highly recommend them!”

“Julie is sweet and kind and the animals love her. My senior dog had the best stay with her. Lots of cuddles and a safe warm environment! I will definitely book Julie again and again!”

“Leslie was absolutely fantastic! She took excellent care of our dog, Fred, providing a wonderfully caring and safe environment for him. It gave us such peace of mind to know he was in such good hands while we were away. We really enjoyed the daily updates and pictures she sent. Our dog can be quite shy around new places and people, so we were thrilled and pleased that things went so well. It was clear he was well-fed and loved. We won't hesitate to book with Leslie again!”

“Nancy is so wonderful - a safe and loving temporary home for our very special little guy. We not only felt comfortable knowing Nancy was giving Teddy the best care, but also that they were probably both enjoying each others company while we were away. Teddy came home in one piece and was his same normal, happy self. Thank you so much for opening your home to Teddy, Nancy - we hope for more visits soon!”

“Marybeth and family took good care of our dog Toby for a week. I believe Toby had as good a vacation as we did! He got to play with Zoey and keep an eye on the cats. He spent time relaxing on the back deck watching the chickens. Working out the details with Marybeth was easy and she's quick to respond. She's obviously good with animals.”

“Perla had a great time with lots of play! Elizabeth has a nice big home with lots of room to run around both inside and out. Her dog Lilo and Perla got along really well. We'll definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Samantha and Brian’s family watched our Wheaten Terrier for two weeks. They kept us updated with photos and we knew he was in good hands. Thanks for giving Charlie lots of snuggles while we were away.”

“She is very lovely and caring person, and she took care of our dog very well. Roseinda was sending a lot pictures of our dog and making sure he is getting well taking care. Thank you for your great service, we appreciate that!”

“This was Ziggys first time staying with Nadine and he was so excited and ran up the stairs to her front door. He must have remembered Nadine and her fur babies from our meet and greet. Ziggy seemed so happy after his weekend with Nadine. Her backyard is amazing. We’ll definitely book again!”

“My one-year-old active dog had the best time at Abe's place. He was very communicative both about issues (she chewed through her harness, oops) and sending daily video and photo updates. I could tell that she was enjoying her time, playing well with the other dogs and hopefully learning some good adult-dog behaviors. It was hard leaving my dog for the first time with a stranger, but chatting with Abe and seeing him with his own dogs made me feel comfortable immediately. I am ready to book him again for my next vacation.”

“Peter was wonderful!!! He was very thoughtful and kind. My pup can be a little shy but she loved hanging out with Peter, family and pups! Thanks Peter!!!”

“River seemed to really love staying with Amy and her family. Their yard is enormous - a HUGE bonus to us because River doesn’t always get along with other dogs at a park. River was able to get worn out in the backyard and have bonus leash walks. Amy sent updates, photos & video and communicated if she had any questions. We will definitely book with Amy again!”

“Amanda and Jaime took fantastic care of my dog and went above and beyond to make him comfortable. My dog is still a puppy and this was his first time away from us for an extended period of time, but the boarder did her best to ensure he felt safe and tried to ease his anxiety as much as possible. I will definitely use Amanda and Jamie for my future boarding needs!”

“I want to thank Heather for taking care of Mabel Mae. She shared pictures with me, let me know Mabel was having fun. She was very patient with Mabel, she is a 9 month old basset hound, so she is very active. When I reached out with a question Heather answered right away. Thank you Heather for taking such good care of my puppy!”

“Thank you Veronica! Arrived home from my journey and found everything in order and a kitty cat that was eager to see me, but was clearly taken care of in my absence. Will definitely seek to reenlist Veronica for future journeys”

About: I’ve had my own dogs over the last 10 years. I am a mom to two human kiddos and one golden retriever, Suzi. I’m happy to walk, check in and play, and care for your pets! I take care of my own pets every day. They are my family and spoiled! I’m able to have a flexible schedule as I stay home to take care of my family. I care for all animals and with love and appreciation. If there are specific instructions to follow I’m happy to do that. Safety is of the utmost importance to me.

“Julie did a fantastic job of watching our two cats over the holidays! Great communication and photos of the cats. Our trip was unexpectedly extended by 5 days and Julie kindly continued to care for our cats until we got home. We highly recommend Julie and hope to use her again.”

About: I worked at an animal shelter and started out volunteering there with the cats! I am highly comfortable with cats and have a special place in my heart for senior cats. I understand cat behavior, different medications, and the daily needs of a cat to keep them as comfortable as possible. When boarding, I have everything a cat needs in a quiet, calm space. I very much understand bringing a cat into the unknown creates stress for a cat, I provide a safe space and know cat behavior very well to help them ease into a new space.
“J Does a great job with my pup and yesterday was super helpful because she drilled him on his commands and helped get some kongs prepped. J is reliable and communicates well.”

“Jennifer is an AWESOME pet sitter. She came over for a meet and greet and I instantly knew she was the one to care for my cat while I was out of town. She texted me daily updates and pictures of him, and also took care of watering some back yard plants. She clearly loves animals and I highly recommend her services :) Toni Walnut Creek”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats and rabbits I’ve always truly loved animals and spending time with them, taking care of them, giving them all the love and attention they need/deserve. Mainly throughout the years I’ve taken care of cats more and sometimes a few dogs. I’m more fond of cats and know how to give them what they need and when they need space or food I can understand quickly. I’m always happy to care for dogs though especially since it’s fun to go on walks, have playtime with them. I will try my best to make sure every pet feels safe, content and happy with me I currently work part time at the Moda Center and it’s but only twice or once a week so I have most days off and so much free time so I really want to keep busy as much as possible and help people out in the process! I’d like to say I’m an observant person and very caring aswell, I tend to check in a lot even if it’s not needed and keeping track of when pets need to be let out, feed, given medication, any of the sorts im right on time. I also give pets time to adjust to me before jumping into touching them, I like to let them come to me first to make them feel comfortable if they are shy. If they are messy i don’t mind cleaning up a mess/cleaning up poop/pee

“It was great to work with Leandra. She came through on short notice. It was clear from the photos she sent that the dogs loved her. We have just rebooked a handful of additional drop in and house sitting dates.”

“Parrish was a great communicator! She made sure to reach out prior to watching our cat for a video call, took notes, was attentive and thoughtful, and kept me updated.”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Julianna and the incredible care she provided for our cats while we were away for five days. From the moment she stepped in, it was clear that she was not only reliable and prompt but also genuinely compassionate and dedicated to making sure our furry family members were happy and well looked after. Julianna went above and beyond, keeping us updated with thoughtful, detailed messages about how everything was going at home. It was such a relief to know our cats were in such capable and caring hands. She truly made our time away stress-free, and we came back to happy, healthy pets and a home in perfect order. Julianna is an absolute gem—professional, warm-hearted, and exceptional in every way. We’re so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation!”

“Sydney was great during an overnight stay with our cat! She was attentive and I could tell she was really looking out for his needs. When he became a bit antisocial and cried during the night, Sydney didn’t hesitate to reach out and see if there was anything else she could do to make him feel comfortable. Her energy definitely aligned with our cat’s and he got along with her great. Thanks Sydney!”

“Matthew went above and beyond!! Very very kind person. Very professional. Left the house nice and took care of our kitties well and he even left the coolest gift and note at the end of it. Best Catsitter we’ve had and we’ve had. Highly recommend!!”

“Stayed extra long to make friends with my nervous orange tabby! Went above and beyond to make sure he was ok. Even had to play an impromptu game of hide and seek with him when he was hidden away. Truly appreciate how Karly really cared about my sensitive baby, Chonky. And jumped in when other care from a friend fell through. Thank you! Will definitely book again!”

“Kelly is a fantastic pet sitter. We’ve booked her twice now to check in on our cats while we’re away and we’ve always seemed to come back to happy cats. She’s communicative and easy to work with which I appreciate. She was able to help with monitoring my cat who had been recently sick and kept us up to date so that we were at ease. Would book again! Thank you!”

“Hannah & Blake are awesome dog sitters. They're super professional, and we never worry when our pup is with them. They send tons of fun photos and videos, and their backyard is a dog's dream. Our dog always has a blast. Highly recommend them if you want your dog to be safe and happy!”

“Our puppy had the best day with Kristopher. He was sensitive to our puppy’s needs, and eased her into meeting his crew when she was nervous on arrival. She seems to have had the best day, and we are so appreciative of his expertise with puppies.”

“With lots of young children attending, our relatives hosting the Christmas Day gathering asked that no guests bring their pets. Rather than leave our little guy by himself for that many hours, we turned to Rover - and Julie came to our rescue! We had done a meet-and-greet previously, so I felt that Django and Aspen would spend most of their time playing and chasing each other, and by all reports that's what they did. I must thank Julie again for taking care of my pup, and on Christmas to boot! I would not hesitate to recommend Julie as a dog-sitter.”

“Damon is a wonderful sitter and handled my two dogs with such great care! They had a great time and came thoroughly exhausted and happy. We got videos and photos throughout the day which was awesome. Your dog will be super cared for and in great hands with Damon! I highly recommend him.”

“This was our 1st time leaving our 2 dogs with Roxie. A great experience. The dogs had a great time. Lots of photos through out the day, which we appreciated. Highly recommended. Excellent care.”

About: Before I had my own dog, I helped family and neighbors with overnight care of their dogs for many years. I developed a soft heart for our furry friends. Now that my own pup has passed, I have time and love to give to yours. I work at home and have a flexible schedule. We will have plenty of time for walks and playing. I’m looking forward to meeting your dog. I have a small home with a fenced yard and I live across the street from a lovely park. I will only care for up to 2 dogs at a time so you can be sure your pet gets the care and attention they need.
“Sequoia took very good care of our anxious pup to make him feel right at home. She provided great photos and thorough details from the day. We will gladly have our Bruce stay with her again!”

About: I’m a dog handler with experience in a dog daycare and home boarding. I have experience with puppy - senior aged dogs as well as sick dogs and dogs with special needs. I love all breeds and have experience with high energy and powerful breeds. I work from home so am available to keep your dog company 24/7. I am happy to provide walks, supervised unleashed backyard time, frequent potty breaks, and whatever else your dog may need. I have a fenced, spacious yard, with no other pets or roommates. I will respect any ongoing training and rules regarding treats, boundaries, use of furniture, jumping, etc.
About: My family has always had pets! Our last dog who was a Puggle (part Pug and part Beagle) named Pugsley lived for 19 years! He died a few years ago...and we miss him every day! We currently don't own any pets...because we want the flexibility to travel. I retired 2 years ago. We also had a cat named Beano...and he also lived until 19 years old. I don't necessarily have skills...except to love your pet to death! I'm currently retired and have a VERY flexible schedule. We don't own any pets right now...so it'd be really fun to have furry visitors! ROVER is really a good option because I can set my own schedule! We have a front and a backyard. We are not fenced...so if they are outdoors then I'll be sure to be with them...and make sure they are leashed.
“It’s clear that Christopher and his family genuinely love dogs! He is easygoing, an excellent communicator, and incredibly accommodating. Mason felt comfortable right away and absolutely loves going to doggy daycare at Christopher’s. We have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring hands.”

“Tommy was extremely communicative and provided a lot of good updates and photos during my dog's stay! You can tell he's really good with dogs and loves to be with them. Absolutely recommend Tommy to anyone in downtown PDX!”
“Chelsea has been awesome with my pups, and they love playing with her dogs as well. Their stay has been great. They’re tuckered out and happy every day I’ve picked them up after daycare 💞”

“My big girls favorite family! Her tail almost falls off when she knows she gets to come over! We appreciate the love and care you give her ♥️♥️♥️”

“Cathy was absolutely wonderful not only did she take Sheldon into her home he felt it home, but she has a nice patio and she took him out for a walk all for a four hour visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a very loving, kind and compassionate individual to get five stars, but I’d give her six if there were six stars available. Thank you, Cathy”

“Abe was very flexible and easy to work with. Although I only met his Husky, his dog was well trained and helped mellow out my overly anxious, fear reactive GSD. I hope to work with him again soon.”

“Maggie is the first sitter I used on Rover and I am definitely going to utilize her services again. She cares for each pet as if it were her own. My dog absolutely loved Maggie's spacious backyard.”

About: I've been around animals my entire life. My family has owned dogs since I was about 6 and cats since before I was born. Since I was 15, I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and my neighbors which has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, personalities, and levels of need. I know that every dogs has its own special needs, and I will always make it my priority to provide attentive, loving, and reliable care. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every dog as if they were my own. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you are away. I am working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with the pets in my care. While I will need to leave for a few hours during the day, I make taking care of your pets my priority. On most work days I am able to stop by during my lunch break and check on pets, let them outside, take them for a short walk, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for. Outside of work hours, I will be available to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship to ensure your pet feels happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and cared for while maintaining their routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, basic bathing and grooming and any special needs. I also make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean environment. I can also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away. I am also willing to do basic home care and cleaning for the client while I am staying in their home.
“Took my 3 year old female GSD to Allen’s for daycare and had a good first time experience. Got to meet the other dogs and see her interact with them. Lots of photos and videos throughout the day, which really helps you feel at ease for a first time drop off. Good to know the dogs are running around getting their exercise. We plan to continue using Allen’s services.”

About: I’ve have one Doberman that my dad made sure I was apart of the their training and raising. So I pick up poop every week, wash them when they’re dirty, walk them every other day since she’s about 5-6 months old so has a lot of energy. I also take her to vet appointments and I help feed her dinner. I’m very experienced with big dogs and little ones because I have friends and family with dogs that range from chihuahuas to cane corsos/giant schnauzers/Hungarian sheepdog. I can do walks and pet-sit after school. On the weekends I can stay overnight if needed. I’m willing to adjust depending on the situation! A bunch of butt rubs and back scratches! I like to really connect with the dogs so if they prefer silence or tv that’s fine! Also feeding them on time and getting them out to use the bathroom on time helps create that trust and bond! I can play with the dogs to their content since I’m young and have the energy!
“Shianne is an exceptional dog walker! She's incredibly dependable, flexible, and has fantastic communication. She's also wonderfully sweet with our two corgis, and always makes sure they get a great workout. Our Lulu, who is obsessed with greeting people on her walks, especially loves her time with Shianne. She's my go-to person for our pups!”

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

“My dog, Cocoa just adores Julie. That's no easy fete as Cocoa can be naughty (she's a puppy) from time to time. Julie is reliable and has great communication with me.”

“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

“Jennifer is such a wonderful dog walker! She is extremely thorough detailing every walk, how my dog is acting towards her and others as well as his eating/drinking habits. I love that she takes multiple pictures on the walks so I can see more of my dog’s activity. Jennifer is always really great about checking in and asking any questions that come up as well. Great at communicating with me always! It sounds like my dog gets super excited to see her everyday as well which is always great to hear ???”

“Lee is awesome! They are understanding and caring! Our dog is a lot to handle but Lee is really patient with him. Such a relief to have a dog walker who we can count on! Thanks Lee”

“Jean did a great job. She has a great yard for the dogs to run in. She was great with my dogs separation anxiety and didn't leave them alone. She also helped my anxiety with texts And photos. I'm so glad I found her. ”

“Another wonderful stay with Liz and her family! Our dog loves spending time at her house and there’s always other dogs for her to play with. I highly recommend Liz as she’s attentive and caring and easy to communicate with.”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“Veronica was great with our two dogs. She has a calming manner and our nervous border collie when away from home appeared totally at ease in the sweet photos that she sent us. And I’m sure our husky enjoyed playing with her huskies. They all made a good pack. 😊”

“My 9 month old lab puppy spent her very first night away from our family. Gracie stayed 3 nights with Hannah. She had lots of play time outside with a variety of fur buddies. Each day I received photos of my puppy playing and romping around in their large spacious backyard. Gracie had a great time and I felt very comfortable with leaving her in Hannah’s care. We will definitely use Hannah again!”

“Damon takes such good care of our dogs, especially with the special needs of our geriatric dog Rosie. I love getting the pictures and hearing how things are going. Rosie loved it so much she didn’t want to leave. This is our second time with Damon, and we’ll definitely visit again.”
“The last thing a pet parent wants is to worry about their beloved furry baby while traveling. Hayleigh provided just the right amount of love and care to Dash. I’m so grateful for sitters who truly love dogs and understand dog behaviors. Dash is by no means a problematic dog but he experienced some anxiety with another sitter that I had no choice but to switch sitters mid booking. Hayleigh was a comfort and even arranged to pick him up at previous sitter. I have no doubt she knows what she’s doing. Thank you!”

“Our little guy Huck had a great time at Hannah and Matt's. They went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable in their home and with their dogs. Lots of communication with photos and updates throughout our wee away. We already rebooked and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!”

“Kathy and her daughter, home from college, were such fantastic, flexible, and dependable care takers for our two pups. I had surgery and a family emergency all at the same time when Kathy stepped in to be a complete lifesaver. Our pups are quite attached and love cuddles. I could tell both from the photos she shared and how our pups behaved after their stay that they were well cared for and loved. Thank you!”

“Bonnie was great! She was easy to get a hold of, had a great space for the pups, and sent plenty of photos throughout our dogs stay. I highly recommend Bonnie, and we’ll definitely be back!”
