On short notice she invited us over for a meet and greet. I always get worried when I have to leave da pooch behind. She's like my child. Amanda was warm and welcoming. She greeted us with a smile. After a short time, I knew she was the sitter for us. I was only gone for 4 days. The communication was great. About: Hi, I’m Ellie! I’ve always been the kind of person at a get together who ends up hanging out with the animals. Since middle school, I’ve cared for pets while their owners were away, and over the years that’s grown into friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers trusting me with their pets, homes, and plants. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. About: I grew up with dogs, cats and rabbits I’ve always truly loved animals and spending time with them, taking care of them, giving them all the love and attention they need/deserve. Mainly throughout the years I’ve taken care of cats more and sometimes a few dogs. I’m more fond of cats and know how to give them what they need and when they need space or food I can understand quickly. About: My family has always had pets! Our last dog who was a Puggle (part Pug and part Beagle) named Pugsley lived for 19 years! He died a few years ago...and we miss him every day! We currently don't own any pets...because we want the flexibility to travel. I retired 2 years ago. We also had a cat named Beano...and he also lived until 19 years old. I don't necessarily have skills...except to love your pet to death! I'm currently retired and have a VERY flexible schedule. We don't own any pets right now...so it'd be really fun to have furry visitors! ROVER is really a good option because I can set my own schedule! We have a front and a backyard. We are not fenced...so if they are outdoors then I'll be sure to be with them...and make sure they are leashed.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! About: I’ve been taking care of my friend’s dogs for a couple years. Whether that’s walking them, feeding them, taking them out to go potty, I am completely experienced in all of those fields. Having had a dog of my own for 6 years, I know how to handle any sort of situation and how to be flexible with other dogs wants and needs. I have plenty of time this summer to help out and play with your pups! I’m available Mon-Fri after 12p and I’m willing to be flexible with times/days! About: I’ve have one Doberman that my dad made sure I was apart of the their training and raising. So I pick up poop every week, wash them when they’re dirty, walk them every other day since she’s about 5-6 months old so has a lot of energy. I also take her to vet appointments and I help feed her dinner. About: I have trained my dog as a service animal from ages 14-16. He is able to do tasks such as harm prevention, getting an adult, and deep pressure therapy. He also knows basic commands such as sit, down, shake, roll over, wait, stay, and "all done" I have experience rescuing and fostering a puppy, potty training him and teaching him basic commands. I have a cat and have cat sitted for many years for neighbors. I also took care of my teachers baby bunny in 2018, as she entrusted me out of every student to take care of the bunny, Saturn. Starting in September, I am starting my CNA program which will be full-time but we can discuss the Fall term in depth once I finish my Summer schooling. If I am allowed to bring your pets to my home, I have a lovely sprawling 1,000 SQFT backyard with lots of grass and area to run in. I also have my own dog (professionally trained and not a barker) who loves other animals (including cats!) so your baby can play with him if you request it. If not, I can put him in an entirely different area so they won't interact. My neighborhood, Robinwood, is absolutely beautiful to walk around, with a public playground, trails, and a river a block away I can take your dog to if you wish! In your home, I will do what you ask me to, whether its just hanging with your dog outside, feeding them, cleaning up a bit around the house, or just dropping in to say "hi" and get some playtime in. Over the years, I’ve regularly pet sat for family friends who trusted me to care for their pet while they were away. My experience includes caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and attention, as well as energetic puppies who thrive with structure, play, and consistent supervision. I also have experience caring for cats, including my own two cats at home. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level, and I take the time to build trust while providing attentive, individualized care. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands. Currently working part time on Wed & Fri mornings. I do have some weekends available for sitting. Most availability will be through the week and for walks. Your pets safety and comfort are always top priorities. I take the time to learn each pets routine, preferences, and any special instructions so I can provide consistent care while you’re away. During walks, I stay attentive to my surroundings and your dogs needs, ensuring they get appropriate exercise while remaining safe and secure. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own and strive to maintain your pets normal routine to help them feel comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

“After just moving to Oregon, I was put in a pinch. Had to travel back east for a funeral. I don't know anyone here yet and needed a dog sitter. Back to ROVER I went. That's when I found Amanda. On short notice she invited us over for a meet and greet. I always get worried when I have to leave da pooch behind. She's like my child. Amanda was warm and welcoming. She greeted us with a smile. After a short time, I knew she was the sitter for us. I was only gone for 4 days. The communication was great. She sent pics on a daily to give me the comfort knowing my Pooch was doing OK, and most of all HAPPY 😊. I have to travel again next month, and have already reached back out.
