About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life! I have a medically complex cat, so I’m very experienced with giving pills and administering medications. As a pet owner myself, I understand how stressful it can feel to be away from your pet. My goal is to care for your animal with the same attention and genuine care I give my own, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m currently a medical student at Oregon Health & Science University completing a dedicated research year, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout much of the week. Taking dogs on walks or spending time with animals has become one of my favorite ways to step away from studying, get outside, and recharge, so I’d love for your pet to join me! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions before every visit. Whether I'm walking your dog or caring for your pet in your home, I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, playtime, and a positive experience. I always keep cats indoors and dogs leashed unless instructed otherwise in a secure, designated area. I also provide owners with regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

“I would rebook with Kat. She took good care of our 3 kitties while we were away. She followed our overly complicated feeding instructions and sent pictures of them eating and a few of them hanging out. One of the weekend days she definitely fed them all breakfast closer to lunchtime, but I still felt like they were in good hands, and in her defense I had expressed some flexibility in their feeding time. She also went out of her way to set our cat camera back up after the cats knocked it over so we could continue spying on one of their favorite hangout spots. Cats were happy and healthy when I got back.”

About: I’ve lived with and around dogs for most of my younger years. While i do not have my own anymore, I have plenty of experience around dogs of different temperaments and sizes. I’ve watched anything from a chihuahua to a great dane! I would love to meet your pup and make sure they are comfortable while you’re away. Recently moved and looking for work! We can work around your needs easily due to me not having other work at the moment. I would love to help! I’m big on listening to the owners! You know your dog best!! Anna was absolutely wonderful with Toby! She came twice a day while we were away, fed him his wet food, and stayed for the full 30 minutes to keep him company. Toby meowed, and screamed at Anna pretty much the entire time. I can only assume he had many important things to tell her about the state of the household while we were gone. Despite Toby's extensive vocal complaints, Anna was incredibly patient, sweet, and attentive with him. Knowing she was spending actual time with him rather than just giving him food gave us so much peace of mind. Anna was reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about Toby. We came home to a happy, well cared for and still very opinionated cat. I would absolutely book Anna again and highly recommend her!
Sydney has been wonderful since my original reach-out. Promptly responsive, polite, and easy to work with. She has come over three times now to meet my anxious/nervous little fella and has been great with him! She is thoughtful and patient with him being a bit nervous, follows my guidance for success with my pups, and has helped to ease my anxieties with text check-ins and pictures. We had a great experience with Sophia! She dropped in on our girls for three days this week and was wonderful. She was always prompt and on time, followed everything we asked, and even took the girls for a walk one day, which was such a nice bonus! Most importantly, the girls seemed happy and comfortable with her, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were at work. Everything went smoothly, and we had absolutely no complaints. We would definitely be happy to have her watch them again!
Kimberly immediately recognized our beloved cat was having a medical problem, and was immediately communicative and got him to emergency medical care, waiting there as long as was needed, setting aside her own plans. She was so kind and treated our little Watson like he was her own family. While he remained in the hospital, she constantly offered to be supportive and see/comfort him as we were trying to get back in town. Ill never forget the impact this kindness made for our family. Has a great rapport with our pooch even though our girl loves everyone they developed a special bond quickly. Sydney was absolutely wonderful! As a new cat mom and a first-time Rover user, I was a little nervous about leaving my two ragdoll one year old boys, but Sydney immediately put me at ease. I really appreciated that she came over for a meet-and-greet beforehand, and it was clear right away how genuinely she loves and understands animals. While I was away, her updates made me feel completely comfortable knowing the cats were in great hands. She was incredibly attentive, spent time playing with them, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and comfortable. I loved getting her updates and seeing how well they were doing. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
