I’ve been pet sitting since middle school and have cared for cats and dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m calm, patient, and detail-oriented, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Owners have especially appreciated my communication, reliability, and the peace of mind I provide through regular updates and photos. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I’m completely free on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and most weekends, with Thursday availability after 5 PM. This allows me to be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I enjoy spending plenty of time with the pets I care for rather than simply stopping by, and I’m happy to work around their routines, feeding schedules, walks, and individual needs. My availability also makes it easy for me to provide consistent care and regular updates while their owners are away. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions and their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific house rules. I’m very attentive to safety and details, and I make sure pets are comfortable, supervised, and never left in an unsafe situation. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they always know how their pets are doing. My goal is for both the pets and their owners to feel safe, comfortable, and completely at ease while they’re away.

About: My family has always had pets! Our last dog who was a Puggle (part Pug and part Beagle) named Pugsley lived for 19 years! He died a few years ago...and we miss him every day! We currently don't own any pets...because we want the flexibility to travel. I retired 2 years ago. We also had a cat named Beano...and he also lived until 19 years old. I don't necessarily have skills...except to love your pet to death! I'm currently retired and have a VERY flexible schedule. We don't own any pets right now...so it'd be really fun to have furry visitors! ROVER is really a good option because I can set my own schedule! We have a front and a backyard. We are not fenced...so if they are outdoors then I'll be sure to be with them...and make sure they are leashed.

Avalon was the best cat sitter for my boy cat. I needed someone last minute and she was able to take on his care and was a great communicator throughout the process. My cat needed 3 different oral medications which she was able to administer without any problems. And if you know cats and meds it’s very challenging to get meds in them! She definitely knows cat language and behavior and I would highly recommend her for any cat care. I felt very at ease leaving my boy under her care. Kristen was amazing with our cat Marvin! I would highly recommend her. Marvin is a nervous kitty and doesn’t warm up to people easily, but Kristen put him immediately at ease. Her calm demeanor and attention to his body language (not petting at first, letting Marv come to her) made him feel safe and by the end of her sitting with him, he was downright cuddly. If you are looking for an attentive, patient and well attuned animal lover to care for your pet Kristen is it!
Veronica was wonderful. She was able to check on my dog for a last minute visit during a stressful situation. She took excellent care of him and my other dog, and went above and beyond what I booked her for. She was fast, communicative, and genuinely cared about my pets!
