I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember, and they are absolutely everything to me. I have 10+ years of experience ranging from general care (feeding, watering, exercising) to training, grooming, and administering medication. I currently have four dogs, three cats, and two birds in my home, along with the occasional foster. I love animals, and have experience potty training, working with reactive dogs, trick training (cats too!) and some basic (non competitive) agility, dock diving, and various other sports. I’ve worked with horses for most of my life and have cared for them among many other animals (cows, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and several kinds of birds) and I love discovering the characteristics and personalities of each individual animal and what makes them happy.

Sequoia is incredible with both our dogs! She has walked our reactive dog for a few months now and always does a great job making sure he feels safe and follows his routine. She makes sure both are dogs are comfortable and is very kind and patient :) !
For the last 1.5 years, Sequoia has been adding joy to my dog’s life with all her adventurous walks. Not only does Sequoia send me updates about how my dog (Laika) did that day, she also adds little but important details about their walk together! Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule during the week. I am able to be home most of the time and provide regular walks, playtime, and potty breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
My backyard is fully fenced, but pets are never outside unsupervised. I have four dogs who are all friendly (albeit high energy) and five very dog-savvy cats. I am able to keep pets separate if need be, and can easily crate your pet in a quiet, calm environment. My pets are all fed in their kennels, so there is no risk of resource guarding. Each pet is played with/walked separately unless they are from the same household and/or get along well depending on their owner’s preferences. NOTE: I do not accept bookings with clients who don’t have pet information listed on their profile (photos, breed, size, description, vet information) unless that is provided at a meet and greet ahead of time.

A typical day
Lots of play time, walks, as well as downtime just hanging out. There’s a park near my house that I frequent with my own dogs and client dogs for sniff walks, and I have a fenced backyard for playing fetch, frisbee, or playing in water with the hose or kiddie pool.

- I require all pets coming for boarding to be up to date on all species and age-appropriate vaccines including leptospirosis - puppies under 16 weeks are exempt from rabies and lepto. Please let me know if your pet has allergies, sensitivities, requires any medication/supplements, behavioral quirks (reactivity, resource guarding, herding tendencies (such as circling, nipping at heels, etc..) and if they have any particular triggers so I can keep your pets comfortable and feeling safe.
