I never remember a time I was not wanting to be around or take care of a animal around me. I have had my cat since she was a little baby (found her in a box!) and she is now 17 years old! Her and I have been through so much together and she is absolutely my best friend and everyone in my life knows her. We have our own language & there is nothing I wouldn't do for her. I volunteer my days off with rescue dogs and work with them so they can hopefully find their forever home. I have been around almost every dog breed as I used to work at an animal shelter and now volunteer with specific dogs in need. I have been known to rescue cats.. although I have not been able to take them in over the years, I have rescued a few stray cats and found homes for them. Anytime my friends/family need someone to take care of their dog/cat while away.. I am the one to call. I am extremely patient and have always felt connected to animals. I am extremely dependable, time efficient, and very active. I understand the importance of taking care of your animal, as I would expect the same of someone to take care of mine.

I am very used to being around animals who have anxiety, feel down, scared and confused. I do everything I can do make a dog/cat feel as comfortable as they can while their parents are away. I understand how important it is to make your animal the number one priority and there is nothing else that matters to me than when an animal needs me. I currently have a 17 year old cat. She has to have ear drops, medication for her kidney disease, and she has very long hair as both brush together. She is very sweet to me, but spicy with others as she has been the only one her whole life. I am very comfortable and can understand when a cat asks me to leave it be for a minute or needs to feel me out before being comfortable. I also hold the Fear Free Certification. A course taken to understand cat and dog behaviors, how to approach a situation, and how to care for animals as best as I can to make them comfortable and cared for.

Avalon did such an amazing job with our Boxer. He's a rescue and can be high maintenance, and also requires daily medication management. She watched him over the week of 4th of July - no issues. The communication was above and beyond, with tons of photos and videos. The house was left cleaner than when we left. We will be using her again.
Wow! We were so impressed with Avalon! Just moved to Oregon three months ago and needed to find a great, kind, loving, and responsible dog sitter to be with our Forrest. Forrest is a very anxious dog, so we wanted to find the perfect sitter for him. Avalon was just the perfect fit for him. She was very knowledgeable and knew how to make him feel comfortable. With great experience and compassion, Avalon is the best!! Forrest is looking forward to many Avalon visits :)
Avalon is hands down the biggest animal lover I’ve ever known. She helped me when we were doing volunteer work at the animal shelter. She’s the best! I love her!
Avalon really helped us out at the last minute and stayed with our Sherman , a sweet 9 year old Frenchie for the day. She kept us up to date with photos and how their day was going and went on a nice walk with Sherman as well. We will definitely book with her again. After meeting her that morning and talking with her for just a bit, I could see what an animal lover she was and Sherman was so happy as well. Thank you Avalon!
Avalon is a cat whisperer. She loves my cats and even though one got a little feisty with her, didn’t even faze her. She still loves her just as much. I can count on her to do the best with us and animals in general. She’s personable and it’s obvious she goes the extra mile for animals.
Avalon was absolutely amazing with our two pups! She took them on long walks, snuggled with them, and even made homemade dog treats. She followed all our directions perfectly, she is highly organized, and went above and beyond by doing all the laundry and leaving the house cleaner than we left it. You can tell she genuinely loves animals, and she gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We’d highly recommend her to anyone!

Dates de la garde
I currently work full time in dental in Lake Oswego, but have three days off a week including weekends open for pet care and helping you take care of your fur babies!
