“Rylie was amazing. Took great care of our cats and went above and beyond multiple times. Even got our super shy car to come out and hang. Which has never happened before with a rover . Can tell she really cares about the animals she works with and will 100% book again if they’re available for our next trip.”

About: With 20+ years of experience, I’m a well-rounded sitter for single and multi-pet households. I’m attentive, patient, and confident handling everything from energetic puppies to older dogs. I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up on a ranch surrounded by animals, which gave me a deep understanding of pet behavior and care from an early age. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, including training and working with puppies as young as four weeks old. What sets me apart is my ability to combine that experience with a strong commitment to safety, structure, and following every owner’s instructions closely. I also have experience caring for cats and reptiles, making me a reliable, well-rounded sitter for all households. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care. I’m available all weekdays, ensuring your pets get the time, play, and companionship they deserve. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, instructions, and boundaries to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In my home or yours, I ensure a clean, secure space, provide plenty of supervision, and give pets the attention, exercise, and affection they need to feel safe and happy.
“Camille was wonderful! She was communicative, on time, & attentive to my puppy. I loved the updates & photos. Camille made me feel at ease that my puppy was taken care of while I was away. Highly recommend Camille :)”

“Whitney is incredible! She dropped in to walk our two dogs twice a day while we were out of town. She was very thorough with her check ins and I felt great leaving them in her hands. Would highly recommend Whitney!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats growing up along with a few non traditional animals. My current pup is my world and I treat her like my child as she is one of my main priorities. I’ve always said “if you respect them they respect you”, and that is my philosophy which has never let me down. I look forward to meeting all of your furry extended family members! I currently work from home 5 days a week and am available for walks during am/pm with endless potty breaks in between. I have a dog park next to my apartment as well as a back yard which allows for your pet to get fresh air and stretch I have one small pup who loves to play and super friendly with other small/medium dogs. I like to give them space to play, let out energy and I do provide snacks if approved by owner of course. Pets will be able to roam freely unless I leave the house. I prefer if pets are crate trained and are accustom to it. Pet is allowed to relax on furniture and I allow plenty of cuddles and or space if they prefer it. Play time is also a must!

“Heather is amazing! She gave us strong peace of mind during our vacation as we knew our sweet Luther was in good hands. Heather was attentive and followed our instructions perfectly, making sure our cat had lots of play time and got attention while we were away. On top of that, Heather was so communicative and responded quickly to our messages. Def hiring Heather again!!”

“We have had Lindsey come watch our pets multiple times. She always communicates with me and has always had really great availability. As long as we live in Lake O, Lindsey will always be my first choice to watch our fur kiddos.”

“Brittaney did an incredible job of watching my two cats while I was out of town for a week. I received videos and photos for each visit, she cleaned litter boxes, fed the cats, and played with them. She even took my trash cans out so I wouldn’t miss it. I highly recommend her.”

“Danielle is great! She took such good care of my cat, Kali, who had never been left by herself! She also fed my fish, kept their water cool and watered my avocado trees!! Which are thriving! I will definitely use her again!!”

“Alyssa is the best! My two kitties and I are very happy with her. She did everything to make my kitties feel comfortable, first, by slowly approaching and reading to them to help them get used to her, second, by feeding and giving them treats, lastly, by playing and giving them the love that they needed. She did many more things! I'm grateful for her time and dedication to the care of Maya and Murphy. Thank you so much Alyssa.”

About: I have had dogs growing up my whole life. When I went out on my own, I adopted a dog (see my profile). He passed after 14 years. He had many challenges: reactive, aggressive towards other dogs and people, etc. I got to have the experience of loving a dog that was hard for others to love. I also gained experience of caring for a senior animal at the end of his life. I currently am a special education middle school teacher in a school that is close to my home. This means that I do work full time. I currently do not have any animals in my home. For the dogs that need a potty break every 4 hours, I am able to accommodate that into my schedule due to my work being so close to home. I have experience with giving meds to dogs, or sticking to specific diet restrictions. In my home, dogs will be allowed on my couch and bed. My apartment community is very dog friendly with walk ways throughout the grounds, along with dog waste disposal bins. I only allow up to two dogs in my care at a time, unless it is a larger animal, then it will only be one. I am not yet ready to get a new dog after the passing of my own, but I have so much doggy love to give that I thought this could be a way to do it!
“Melissa took great care of my two cats while I was away. My cats seemed to be happy the moment they met her, and when I got back home after a week. Melissa was very flexible. She was okay with the daily routine of my cats. I really felt comfortable leaving them with her for a week. Highly recommend Melissa. Thank you.”

Durham pet parents share their Rover experiences
Taryn is absolutely fantastic!! I knew from the meet and greet that it would be a great fit bc of how clearly and confidently she asked my pup to sit before receiving a treat. she gave super detailed notes of her visit with my anxious, senior pup Billie and took lots of photos and a cute video. she talks to my pup exactly like I do (the high pitched baby talk, my diva needs it) 😭🙏🏼 she has great attention to detail and followed all care instructions to a tee. I can tell from the photos of Billie that she was relaxed and I'm sooo grateful. this was a last minute hour long check in and I'm definitely going to book with Taryn again.

Hannah was a wonderful pet sitter for my pet family. She cared for our dog, two cats and 5 chickens while we were out of town! She also brought in the mail, picked up the dog poop and walked the dog. She gave updates each day with photos, and we greatly appreciated it! Will use her again in the future!

I was sad to leave my senior kitty for a few days, but I felt completely confident he'd be in good hands with Kaelyn! I'm so grateful for the care she provided while I was gone. She really takes the time to make sure your pet is comfortable and happy. If I ever need a sitter again I'd love for Kaelyn to visit again. Thank you so much!!

Brittaney did an incredible job of watching my two cats while I was out of town for a week. I received videos and photos for each visit, she cleaned litter boxes, fed the cats, and played with them. She even took my trash cans out so I wouldn’t miss it. I highly recommend her.

Roger and his family took wonderful care of our cat while we were gone. They are trustworthy, reliable, friendly and a very caring family. They took daily pictures and videos and they were very observant as to describing our kitty's behavior and idiosyncrasies. We are so happy to have found them. I would highly recommend them.

Renee was wonderful! She clearly has a passion for taking care of pets and took time to really get to know our Nova so she could provide the best possible care. We received regular updates, detailed notes, and the sweetest photos that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Not only was our cat happy and relaxed when we returned, but everything in our home was spotless and just as we left it. Highly recommend Renee!!
