Pet care experience
Your local cat lady ❤️
My name is Shelby and I would love to watch your dog(s), cat(s), horse(s), fish or any other furry or non furry pet you may have! I have a considerable amount of experience with cats; I’ve been fostering cats and kittens for 9+ years and started a non-profit that helps kittens with critical and special needs. Is your dog/cat diabetic or on oral medication? No problem! I have experience administering insulin and oral medications to both cats and dogs and I don’t charge extra for these services. Feel free to message me with any questions! Thank you for your time and I'd love to hear from you!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I do not charge extra for bringing in mail, watering plants, or bringing garbage bins to the curb/bringing them in. I understand that when I care for pets in your home I am also helping maintain your home the way you would.
Ratings and reviews
Shelby was so great! My previous pet care fell through last minute and Shelby was very responsive and came to do a meet-and-greet with my senior kitty Aries. Shelby was very professional and took amazing care of my shy and timid kitty, could not recommend her more!
Wonderful cat sitter. 💜 continue to book with her and highly recommend!
Once again, we relied on Shelby to care for our pets and felt comforted for a few weeks knowing they were in great hands. She took care of them twice a day for 20 days while we were away, which is a big ask, and we really appreciated having someone we could trust with both our pets and our home for that length of time. She was communicative, dependable, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and well taken care of. We came home to two very happy pets, and that says a lot! We’re grateful for Shelby and would happily have her care for them again.
Thanks for taking care of my cats!
Shelby was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our dog and cat while we were away, and we came home to two very happy pets. Not only did she handle all of their care exactly as we asked, but she truly went above and beyond. She took our dog on walks to the dog park so he could get extra exercise and have some fun, and she made sure our cat got plenty of playtime and activity too. It was clear she really cared about making sure they were happy, not just checking off a list of tasks. Shelby was reliable, thoughtful, and communicated well throughout our trip, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’d happily book with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like they’re her own.
Shelby is a wonderful care provider! She reduced stress for Tilly on the 4th and spent extra time with her outside to help her calm. She provides excellent care, administers medicine twice a day, and follows the requested routine. She is Tilly’s top preference for care. Thanks for everything, Shelby!

Schedule
Pet-sitting is my full time job. I run a kitten rescue which means I often have tiny kittens that need round the clock care. Pet-sitting allows me to arrange my schedule around their needs.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsShelby can host up to 15 drop-ins per day
- I would love to know if the goal of the walk is exercise/distance or more of a potty break with lots of sniff breaks. Do they have any medical conditions with symptoms I should alert you of. Example: not eating (can be totally normal for a dog when an owner is out of town but some dogs are highly food motivated and not eating is a sign something is very wrong)
- These prices are for 1 dog.
