About: I love dogs, and they love me. It’s like I speak their language. I’ve always been surrounded by dogs my entire life. My little high energy Benito loves having other friends around. The more the merrier. I’m home all day, so these little dogs feel happy and comfortable at our place. I also go on regular walks with them. Dogs love walks. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats growing up along with a few non traditional animals. My current pup is my world and I treat her like my child as she is one of my main priorities. I’ve always said “if you respect them they respect you”, and that is my philosophy which has never let me down. I look forward to meeting all of your furry extended family members! I currently work from home 5 days a week and am available for walks during am/pm with endless potty breaks in between. I have a dog park next to my apartment as well as a back yard which allows for your pet to get fresh air and stretch I have one small pup who loves to play and super friendly with other small/medium dogs. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. “Manisha and her family took such good care of Kylo, our 3 and a half months old aussiedoodle that he actually is missing them after returning home after 3 weeks stay. Manisha sent plenty of pictures of Kylo during the entire stay and helped us stay connected to him. Kylo received lots of hugs, kisses and family fun times from Manisha and her family. She is a very thoughtful caretaker and even bought a whole bag of dog food to send home with him after the food we sent with him nearly finished. I would definitely reach out to her again for Kylo and highly recommend her for dog sitting/stay.”
