Reliable & Thoughtful Care for Cats
Cats require a certain level of quiet care and observation—to me that means you have to let them show you who they are and what they need. When it comes to chatting with kitties I have a very soothing, loving tone. Personally I have the privilege of watching over two kitties with very distinct personalities. One is more anxiety prone and loves attention but on their terms. The other insists on cuddling in the crook of my arm at least 3x a day. As tempting as it is to cuddle and squeeze them all it’s not up to me. It’s what best for them! Beyond meeting cats where they are I am comfortable following diverse diet instructions, observing bathroom habits, and making sure kitties get the exercise and attention they need to comfortably take their cat naps during the day. I’m also pretty good with a camera and enjoy snapping memorable photos of cats.

Since I’ve been caring for cats for years now I know they can be any where at any time. I open doors slowly to make sure I don’t encourage their inner escape artist. I’ve also learned to look up for those cats that thrive on top of cabinets or in the least expected tight, dark spaces. I clean up wet food dishes, wash out cans, sweet up dry food, and make sure water dishes are cleaned every few days to ensure kitty is getting fresh water. I’ve learned to keep an eye out for hair ties, open windows, loose cables just in case they are feeling feisty!

Kristen gave amazing attuned care to both our kitties! They both really bonded with her, as evidenced by the many videos and photos she shared. My kitty Cleo is very shy, but after just a few days with Kristen’s gentle patient presence, he was getting pets from her and giving kitty nose kisses :) It takes a special person for Cleo to feel safe with, and he loved Kristen. She helped us not have to worry while far away, knowing our kitties were in good hands. She also cleaned up several kitty vomit messed and followed our protocols to tend to their digestive issues. And spent extra time with them and gave Karma, our digestive issues kitty, her food in two doses so she could digest it. Highly recommend Kristen!!
Absolutely perfect! Kristen did everything we asked and send extensive daily reports. Our cats were in good hands!

Schedule
I work for myself so I have a flexible schedule to care for your kitties with consistency. If you have good WiFi at your home I can stay longer and work from there while keeping your sweet kitty company. Sometimes all they need is a little extra time on a comfy lap!
