I work for myself so I have a flexible schedule to care for your kitties with consistency. If you have good WiFi at your home I can stay longer and work from there while keeping your sweet kitty company. Sometimes all they need is a little extra time on a comfy lap!

Since I’ve been caring for cats for years now I know they can be any where at any time. I open doors slowly to make sure I don’t encourage their inner escape artist. I’ve also learned to look up for those cats that thrive on top of cabinets or in the least expected tight, dark spaces. I clean up wet food dishes, wash out cans, sweet up dry food, and make sure water dishes are cleaned every few days to ensure kitty is getting fresh water. I’ve learned to keep an eye out for hair ties, open windows, loose cables just in case they are feeling feisty!

Cats require a certain level of quiet care and observation—to me that means you have to let them show you who they are and what they need. When it comes to chatting with kitties I have a very soothing, loving tone. Personally I have the privilege of watching over two kitties with very distinct personalities. One is more anxiety prone and loves attention but on their terms. The other insists on cuddling in the crook of my arm at least 3x a day. As tempting as it is to cuddle and squeeze them all it’s not up to me. It’s what best for them! Beyond meeting cats where they are I am comfortable following diverse diet instructions, observing bathroom habits, and making sure kitties get the exercise and attention they need to comfortably take their cat naps during the day. I’m also pretty good with a camera and enjoy snapping memorable photos of cats.

Kristen takes such good care of my cranky senior kitty. She sends me the cutest detailed updates that usually have attached videos too, which I love watching, and she goes above and beyond to keep things nice and clean while I'm away. Another incredible cat sitting experience with Kristen! She sends the best updates - detailed and lots of pictures. Also, you get way more than what you pay for. She comes up with fun games and treats for the cats (including ones that get them extra hydrated when it is hot out) and actually pays attention to them. The house and litter boxes are always cleaned and she even offered to clean our outdoor catio sand area to help the cats feel extra cared for. We have four cats and two of them usually run and hide when "strangers" come in, even our close friends. When Kristen comes over all of the cats run up to greet her! I used to dread traveling and leaving the cat crew home with someone...now I can actually look forward to going on vacation even if it is in the middle of nowhere without reception because I know the crew is in great hands.
