PLEASE NOTE: Due to insurance reasons: I am not able to accept dogs that are un-neutered, aggressive, or of a specific breed such as : Pitbull, Staffordshire Terrier, German Shephard, Belgian Malinoise, Rottweiler, Doberman, Akita, Chow, Dalmatian, Bull Mastiff, Malamute, Catahoula Cur, etc. I grew up with many of these breeds so please know that it pains me not to be able to accept them! I can’t remember a time when we didn’t have a dog in the house growing up, wasn’t till recently that I haven’t had a pet in the home. I live in a duplex with a small fence in area that I can do quick potty breaks and then live close to walking trails for longer outside times. I have a 3 year old daughter who loves to play with animals. I also love close to parks that I can take dogs to if owner is comfortable with me transporting them. I also live close to my sister who has an active dog who loves friends to play with so that is an option if you have a high energy dog that likes friends.

About: I never remember a time I was not wanting to be around or take care of a animal around me. I have had my cat since she was a little baby (found her in a box!) and she is now 17 years old! She has to have ear drops, medication for her kidney disease, and she has very long hair as both brush together. She is very sweet to me, but spicy with others as she has been the only one her whole life. I am very comfortable and can understand when a cat asks me to leave it be for a minute or needs to feel me out before being comfortable. I also hold the Fear Free Certification. A course taken to understand cat and dog behaviors, how to approach a situation, and how to care for animals as best as I can to make them comfortable and cared for.
