I have been caring for pets since I was a child, but I started volunteering at my local Humane Society in 2010 where I ended up adopting my first two kittens. At 10 my cat Pepper ended up with diabetes and skin fragility syndrome and I learned how to care for her including giving her insulin shots everyday, twice a day and measuring out her food, I can give medications both liquid, pill, and injection. My other cat developed Asthma and I learned how to give her inhaler puffs. These experiences make me uniquely qualified to care for cats that need daily medical treatments. I have also grown up with dogs and love them dearly. While I can no longer walk dogs, I can let them outside for potty breaks and throw their favorite toy. I can trim nails on both cats and dogs. You can trust your furry friend to me while you're away!

I cannot do pet care in my home, but in your home I will do whatever is needed to care for your furry friend. Timed feeding, medications, claw trimming, litterbox cleaning, playing. I cannot walk dogs but I can give them potty breaks and pick up after them if needed. I will make sure there is access to water and if anything appears to be wrong, I will follow instructions you set for me to make sure your baby is okay!

Our favorite dog sitter!
Mackenzie was phenomenal! She took care of all 5 of our pets for our wedding trip! She sent updates and cute photos daily, was very communicative and asked plenty of questions at our meet and greet to offer the best care! I highly recommend Mackenzie as a sitter!
Mackenzie has watched Meeks several times now, and he absolutely loves her. He cuddles with her more than most members of my family. Vacations are stress-free knowing that he is so happy spending time with her. And the house always looks great as well.
Mackenzie was a very professional pet sitter and took great care of my cat. I got 2 updates per day as requested, always on time with multiple pictures. Communication was excellent and easy. She left my house very clean and my cat loved her. She was happy to have someone to cuddle with and seemed very content when I got home. Would definitely book her again!

Your pets and home are in great hands with Mackenzie! As a first time client, we appreciated the meet and greet visit, where Mackenzie asked questions and ran through the cats routine, our preferences and expectations, and took thorough notes. Our babies LOVED her and we had such peace of mind knowing they were in her care while we were away. Per our request, Mackenzie provided daily updates and pictures of the happy kitties. We hope to have her again!

Schedule
With my chronic pain I am unable to work a full time job, this makes me available at times when others would be working and means I'm often available for longer stays!
