I was nervous leaving my puppy for the first time (I spent a long time making a decision and even visited other homes), but I felt comfortable leaving him there and I think he had lots of one on one time and was not alone very much. She seemed to really enjoy her time with my puppy (who is a bit of a handful despite his size). She checked in with photos every day. They went for lots of walks and play time and he seemed very well cared for overall. She even dropped him off for me as I was getting in on a late flight. Their house was very warm and inviting and they really took to him. They were very thorough with all of their questions and made sure that they were equipped to take good care of him. During the trip they gave us constant updates and photos and we felt very safe that he was in good hands. when we went to go pick him up, he did not seem that enthusiastic to leave, which was both sad but also a great sign of how much fun he was having there. About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life! My mother was a dog breeder, meaning I have experience with puppies! I can’t remember a time when we didn’t have a dog in the house growing up, wasn’t till recently that I haven’t had a pet in the home. I currently work in the medical field meaning I’m comfortable administering all kind of medications, whether that be topical, oral, or injectable medications. I have done pet sitting in the past, I have taken care of many kinds of animals, dogs, cats, horses, livestock, you name it I’ve probably taken care of it! I currently work full time, but I am home on evening and weekends, so I’m home starting Friday night to Sunday night to take your pup out as often as possible. During the week I am gone typically 12-14 hours a day, but if your pup is use to that I can make it work to let them out in the morning and then rush back to let them out once I’m home. I live in a duplex with a small fence in area that I can do quick potty breaks and then live close to walking trails for longer outside times. I have a 3 year old daughter who loves to play with animals. I also love close to parks that I can take dogs to if owner is comfortable with me transporting them. I also live close to my sister who has an active dog who loves friends to play with so that is an option if you have a high energy dog that likes friends.

I was nervous leaving my puppy for the first time (I spent a long time making a decision and even visited other homes), but I felt comfortable leaving him there and I think he had lots of one on one time and was not alone very much. She seemed to really enjoy her time with my puppy (who is a bit of a handful despite his size). She checked in with photos every day. They went for lots of walks and play time and he seemed very well cared for overall. She even dropped him off for me as I was getting in on a late flight.
