I have grown up around dogs, so taking care of their basic needs is an easy task. I have brushed huskies to help get rid of undercoat, and I have bathed dogs. I have given them medicine before, but I do not do shots. I have done walks and hikes with dogs, and played fetch along the way! I am no stranger to tug-of-war.

Sydney is wonderful! I was worried about leaving our kitties and had not used Rover before. Thankfully Sydney was available on very short notice to care for our little ones and immediately put my mind at ease. She was so attentive to our kitties and her communication was excellent. Sydney regularly sent photos and updates which gave me peace of mind. We know our cats were well cared for and would absolutely recommend Sydney!! Thank you Sydney! Willie & Dolly say hi!
Leaving a fearful, reactive Blue Heeler is incredibly stressful- Sydney handled everything flawlessly while house-sitting; during my absence, there happened to be tree trimming which required parking spots to be vacated, chimney inspections, and exterior repairs during hot weather (of course it just HAD to occur during the ONE period I wouldn't be home). She handled everything flawlessly including understanding my dog's triggers, respecting their boundaries during nervous moments, and took the time to build trust safely. Sydney sent fantastic updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. It’s rare to find someone who truly "gets" herding breeds and reactivity while being patient and gentle. I am so grateful and will absolutely be booking again!
Sydney is the best!
Sydney was great during an overnight stay with our cat! She was attentive and I could tell she was really looking out for his needs. When he became a bit antisocial and cried during the night, Sydney didn’t hesitate to reach out and see if there was anything else she could do to make him feel comfortable. Her energy definitely aligned with our cat’s and he got along with her great. Thanks Sydney!

I am doing school online for the last term so I have plenty of time on my hands! I am free the majority of the day on almost all days!

Safety, trust & environment
I have three cats at home and they are fed the recommended amount of food and treats per day! I give them access to lots of water and many toys they can play with. Since I am studying at home, I often take breaks and play with them. We make sure that there is nothing breakable where the cats can injure themselves and we tie up all of the strings on the blinds. We also have air purifiers for my cat that has allergies.
Pets
A typical day
I love to use toys like tennis balls, stuffed animals, or string to play with the animals! If the pet is in a relaxing mood, I can give lots of pets or provide them with space. I can take outdoor animals to the park to fetch sticks or just enjoy the walk.
