Dog Walking Riverwood

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I decided to start my own neighborhood dog-sitting business when I was 10 years old. Since then, I have owned, lived with, and cared for dogs of all kinds, ranging from an energetic and rambunctious German shepherd puppy to an anxious and quiet chihuahua old man :) I truly love spending my time caring for and hanging out with dogs (maybe even more than humans…) I am currently a fourth year clinical psychology PhD student finishing up my degree from home! My schedule is very flexible and I create my own hours. I am able to take multiple breaks throughout each day to go on walks or visit the park near my apartment. I work from home 3 days a week and am also around on weekends! I can board dogs in my home, pet and house sit from my clients’ homes, pop in to play with your dog or give him/her food and water, take your dog to the park, or take your dog on a walk! I am able to provide whatever services are needed, in whatever manner my clients would prefer.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with large dogs and understand the importance of providing them with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to burn off energy. Over the years, I’ve regularly pet sat for family friends who trusted me to care for their pet while they were away. About: I grew up with at least 2 dogs in the house always, have cared for horses, cats, and dogs. I have 3 years experience dog sitting. I am unique in that I make it my focus to connect with each and every animal that I have the pleasure of meeting and or caring for. VISITS: I pride myself on giving your animal a fun time, making sure they do their business, and getting them back safe and sound. HOUSESITTING: I will respect your space and am flexible with the majority of requests. About: I have cared for energetic puppies to old man dogs, kittens to old lady cats, rabbits, I have rescued lots of pets that needed special care, I've taken care of aquariums. Whatever care your pets need, chances are I've done something similar at least. I am a student with class on Wednesdays, and I I am available the rest of the week. I have a child, so I'm not available to spend nights away from home. I've had a lot of pets and I understand that every pet is different. I have a lot of time to really spend caring for your pet in the ways you request, whether it's lots of walks to the park, sitting at home getting pets and attention, administering medications. I'm very flexible and understanding to whatever your furry friends needs are.

About: I have taken care of many dogs, cats, and even sugar gliders! I am very comfortable around animals and have a lot of experience with them! I am working a part time job currently, but can move around my schedule in order to take care of any animals in need! I am available nights and days if needed! I abide by any guidelines given to me by owners, but make sure to add in lots of love for furry friends! About: I’m uniquely experienced in managing multiple pets, having cared for two or more pets at all times. I understand group dynamics, individual needs, and how to keep every pup happy. I have no obligations during the weekdays after 10am. I am available on weekends as well. I will have a week long trip in August where I will be out of town.
