About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I have been taking care of animals most of my life. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and reptiles over the years. I’m currently a stay at home mom to two kids and one cat. With the kids getting older I am looking for an opportunity to care for your wonderful pets and get a little exercise too! I have experience giving medications to cats and dogs. About: Due to issues with marking, I will only sit female dogs. I have two small rescue dogs of my own - both are under 15 pounds and gentle and playful with one another. I'll pamper your dog just as I do my own with plenty of cuddles, a calm environment and a fenced yard for potty breaks. About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. About: I have taken care of dogs, and pet/house sitting for friends, family, and other people throughout the last 6.5 years. My family had two dogs while growing up who I adored and loved taking care of. I also worked at a dog daycare for a bit during my freshman and sophomore years of college. About: I’m a recently retired (lol) ER Vet assistant , I have a lot of experience handling dogs of all sizes! Whether that be providing medical care or tons love! I have a dog and cat of my own and grew up with pets as well! I’m available Friday/Saturday and can drop in to play with your pet anytime or take them on a nice walk! I would prefer to do walks prior to the sun going down but can always drop in late at night for those who work graveyard shifts! Trust is such a big part of meeting a pet for the first time!
