Jeannine was great with my dog, who can sometimes be reactive around other dogs. I immediately felt very comfortable and my dog was a happy girl after her walk. Looking forward to using her again.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

Bethany was awesome me and my husband were going to be away on A trip our Dog Booker was staying home with our parents but they weren’t going to be able to give him the required exercise he needed so we figured we would give a dog walker a go! Bethany should up everyday to our house on time and Booker was always excited to see her! Each walk came with a picture and report which was great! Would definitely use Bethany again!

Hannah and my 8-month-old Husky got along great! I really appreciated her willingness to meet my needs, including doing a late-night 10 PM walk each night for several days. She even worked on obedience training during their walks, which was such a huge bonus. It’s clear she knows how to handle energetic puppies and make the time productive as well as fun. Hannah also provided detailed updates after each walk, which gave me peace of mind. She is friendly, professional, and very flexible. When I had a scheduling conflict, Hannah was able to accommodate a last-minute change without any issues. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!

Ron is fantastic with our highly energetic Corgi! He's reliable and incredibly patient, and he never seems phased by his energy. You can tell Ron puts his whole heart into it. He genuinely cares about our dog's wellbeing. Our dog Kiyo absolutely adores the walks and gets so excited whenever he sees him. We've noticed a real difference in his mood and energy levels since we started using Ron, and we couldn't recommend him more highly.

I have 9 years of experience caring for cats, including feeding, litter care, playtime, and administering medication. I’ve also provided professional cat care during weeklong stays. For dogs, I offer gentle, reliable walks to help them stay active and happy. I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.

About: Hi! I'm Jacob, one half of King City Pet Care, the local pet care business I run full time along with my girlfriend Alexis right here in King City. I grew up with three cats who were very much family, and that love for animals is what led me here. Pet care isn't a side gig for me, it's what I do every day, and your pet may see me solo or alongside Alexis depending on scheduling and what's the best fit. I'm experienced with puppies, seniors, high-energy breeds, and pets requiring medication. For any booking of 3 or more days, I require a trial, charged at that service's normal rate, so I can make sure your pet settles in comfortably and I'm the right fit for their needs. I tend to fill up quickly, so feel free to reach out early. I'd love to meet you and your pet! Pet care is my full time job, so I have consistent, reliable availability throughout the week. I prioritize consistency and clear communication so you always know what to expect. Recurring weekday walks and drop-in requests are welcome, and I may be able to accommodate last-minute requests depending on current availability. Your pet's safety and emotional comfort are always my top priority. Every visit, you can expect a clean and structured environment, careful adherence to your instructions, prompt photo updates, and thoughtful supervision from someone who genuinely cares. Before accepting any booking, I require a meet and greet to make sure we're the right fit, for you, your pet, and me.

Tyran recently met and began walking our sweet, adorable German Shepherd. Victoria connected with Tyran immediately, responding to his warm, loving, gentle demeanor. She returned from their hour-long adventure happy, wagging, and contentedly tired! She's already looking out the window for him to return for another excursion! Our other dog, Charlie - Victoria's beloved companion - passed away a few months ago, leaving her deeply melancholy. We are grateful to Tyran for being Victoria's weekly companion to give her love and attention, lift her spirits, and take her on new and fascinating journeys!

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
