About: I have a 7 year old boston terrier who I have had since she was a puppy. I also dog sit a variety of breeds for friends and family including staffordshire terrier and bulldog. I work remotely and have flexibility during the day as well as weekends. I am available to pick up from you directly in afternoon to evening as well as on the weekend. I am available for you to drop off to me any time of the day on weekdays or weekends. I currently make my boston terriers food at home from scratch, administer medications when needed, bathe and trim nails, and take her on frequent walks. I am used to providing this level of care and would bring the same level of care to yours.

About: hi, call me rhys (she/they)!! I’m new to portland but not to cats! I grew up with feline friends, have two of my own (zuko and kevin), and have cared for friends’, family’s, and even a four-cat household. as a true cat whisperer, I take time to earn trust with even the shyest kitties at their own pace. I look forward to meeting your fur baby! 🐈⬛ pet care is my specialty! as a naturally detail-oriented (and slightly nervous) cat parent myself, I make sure everything’s just right—fresh food, clean water, a tidy litter box, plenty of playtime, and of course, all the snuggles. then it’s sleep, wake up, repeat! both of my boys are indoor-only and up to date on their vaccinations, so there’s minimal risk of bringing anything into your home. when I care for your cats, I pay close attention to both their needs and any specific instructions for your space—keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and stress-free.

“Cameron is so great with our pup! I love to read his feedback after taking Oakley out on walks! He has a lot of experience with dogs, so I feel comfortable knowing he can handle our dog’s puppy energy.”

About: Hi! I’m Gage—a lifelong pet lover with years of experience caring for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages. From playful puppies and curious kittens to sweet senior pets, I’ve done it all. My own furry family includes Greta, a friendly 3-year-old Shar Pei, and Phil, my laid-back cat. I currently work from home, which means I have a super flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available every day of the week, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. I live in Portland’s Pearl District, right above Fields Park. This is where I typically take dogs for walks—unless you have another preferred spot! Fields Park offers plenty of green space, safe walking paths, and a fully fenced-in dog park for off-leash fun and exercise.

“Lizzie did a great job with my energetic pup. I really enjoyed how she sent me photos of him throughout the walk, not just at the end. I would hire her again any day.”

About: I love caring for all kinds of animals from rabbits, chickens, goats, and hedgehogs. Having worked as an urban farmer, I am very experienced in caring for animals professionally. I have been a pet sitter for 10 years and have walked dogs on a regular basis for two. Dogs are the best! I look forward to giving your fur baby all of my attention, empathy, and patience. I love the challenge of meeting and working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have cared for dogs of advanced age with medication needs, excitable puppies, and every age in between. Getting to know your dog is my goal. Your dog is in strong and caring hands - every walk will be an adventure! I work in person about one day a week, so I have a great deal of schedule flexibility. Whatever your pet's schedule is, I can likely accommodate it without any conflicts. As a pet owner myself, I know how precious your animal is as a member your family. I will do my best to give them lots of affection and stimulating play while respecting your home environment.

“I had a very positive experience with having Yana walk my two dogs. It has been a pleasure working with her. She truly seems like an empathetic animal lover. She walked my two large dogs over the weekend and I was impressed with how their walks with her noticeably improved their demeanor.”

About: I grew up around dogs of all kinds, starting with our family’s stubborn Jack Russell Terrier, and later a few rescue pups with quirky personalities and mild behavioral needs. While my family couldn’t have cats (my dad is severely allergic), my best friend’s family was an all-cat household. Throughout middle and high school, I would cat-sit for them and other neighbors, so I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of all temperaments and needs. As a recent college graduate, I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. Whether it's daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I’m able to adapt my routine around your pet’s needs and make sure they get the care and companionship they deserve. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment that matches their usual routine as closely as possible.

“Simon and Tilly had a lovely walk. Caitlin’s dog Lucy was sweet and patient with them.”

“Evita was very sweet with our dog Leia. Leia really loved going on walks with her. Evita also responded to our dog walking request very promptly and on very short notice, which was very helpful as we had an unexpected situation come up!”

About: I have had pets ever since I was a kid. Right now I have three dogs and they are the loves of my life. Some of them are reactive so I have learned how to handle reactive dogs. I also volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society for many years and learned a lot of skills working with the dogs and cats there. Caring for animals is my full time job. I have lots of time for walks, playtime, and pampering! I am available anytime during the week and weekends! Having three dogs means lots of playtime and walks! It also means lots of clean up! I love a clean house with happy pups! I can create a loving environment for your dog in their own home as well!

About: I was raised on a large property and we cared for several different animals in our company. I love caring for dogs and cats, I'll run with any dog and I love to interact with cats while reading and during feeding time for extra treats. I love animals very much, and have always pet-sat growing up. For dogs, I love to run; I trained in the military and always enjoyed a good run during my exercise. It's kept me fit and ready to make any furry friend work out that extra energy! For cats, despite my love of exercise and running, I enjoy the calm and make myself a great quiet friend for cats to bond with. I pay mind to litter, tracking, and popular cat hides to check on the finer details our feline friends need, since they talk to us a lot less than dogs! I am currently studying for Nursing and Nutrition and going back to college. Hoping to have this help out the part time I can work while I focus on life! I clean, scan, and prepare the proper food and keep to a schedule especially for cats. I have a cat with special care needs and always stressed finding her a sitter when I was away. So I want to offer my customers the peace of mind they deserve knowing their furry companion is cared for.
